Did CDPR just say "let's make RDR+Skyrim" with this game? There's not one original thing about this shit.

so what about this game makes you think it's skyrim and what makes you think it's rdr?
Dunno, just the distinct feeling I got.
Skellige felt like babbies Skyrim and RDR is just the 3rd person open world horse gameplay with random encounters. Witcher 3 is how I would imagine a rockstar Fantasy game to feel
>Days Skyrimzoomzooms have gone without seething over Witcher 3: 0
>Skyrimzoomzooms
skyrim is older than tw3 though
Yes but Skyrim is babbi's first "RPG" so lil zoom zooms emotionally attach themselves to that shitfest and feel hatred for anything that threatens what they perceive to be one of the greatest RPGs of all time (lmao).
and yet zoomers still like and play Skyrim more than TW3
>Skellige felt like babbies Skyrim
They're both based on scandinavia, are you saying Skyrim invented yarls and warrior culture? They aren't ever focusing on the same aspects, Skyrim doesn't even take much from nordic mythology beyond some vague ancestor worship.
>RDR is just the 3rd person open world horse gameplay with random encounter
Is this your first open world game or are you saying that rdr invented horses or something?
>it's like red dead because horses
There's not one original thing about any game. Weak argument. What matters is that it's an extremely high level refinement of numerous systems and concepts that makes it an entertaining and satisfying experience. I'm sorry you got filtered, I wish you could enjoy video games without having to act out your frustrated wounded ego on Ganker.
Skyrim didn't invent fantasy open worlds and RDR is nothing at all like Witcher 3 other than the fact that both are third person games and you can ride a horse in both games. I actually kind of wished CDProject had copied the horse riding mechanic of RDR, because steering Roach in Witcher 3 is one of the biggest weak points of the game for me.
>Did CDPR just say "let's make RDR+Skyrim" with this game?
Is this a shitpost? They literally already made everything that TW3 has in Witcher 1 and 2, some of it just at a slightly smaller scale. But 3 is just an over-ambitious expanding on all the shit they kinda learned from their first two games.
The problem is that TW1 and 2 really only had one thing going for them, and that was the depth of the characters and the branching, twisting, and consequential storylines that connected with the players and made you feel like you were doing something in the world. 3 didn't NOT try that, but it failed pretty majorly and also the fact that it was an open world game full of tons of sidequests just meant that more and more attention was put on the combat and other gameplay systems which (just like 2) were about as generic and trite third-person hack-and-slash nonsense as possible. Because CDPR doesn't innovate stuff like that, they just do the most basic stuff and over-promise and then under deliver on all of the systems they tried to implement.
Hey, would you rather have something be original and suck complete ass or have something generic but more refined and polished?
Plus is it even possible to have a truly original idea when video games have existed for the better part of 4 decades?
