In terms of Radio:
SA > VC >> Gta 5 > Gta 4 > Gta 3.
Yes, with Vice City being a close second. Honorable mention to Vladivostok FM in GTA IV, though.
LOUSIANA WOMAN
MISISSIPI MAN
ABOUT 45 MINUTES SOUTHEAST OF TIPPITOE LOUISIANA
Vice City is the undisputed king of GTA radio. There will never be a game packed with more bangers and actual classics than that game. San Andreas is in a very close second though.
VC > SA >>>> V > III >>>>>>>>>>>>> IV

We can all agree that SA and VC had the best radios but why did the others games shit the bed so hard?
It's because VC and SA included some of the best songs from the '70s, '80s and '90s. By the time we got to GTA V, there was barely anything good left. That's why we got garbage like
>THE TROUBLE TODAY WITH WOMEN.............THE MOUTH DON'T STOP
hey come on now I like Radio Mirror Park and LS Rock Radio
fair enough, but I don't understand why Higher Love plays 470x more than every other song on LS Rock Radio
>why did the others games shit the bed so hard?
Vice City was set in the 80s and San Andreas in the 90s. Taking some classics from the 70s and some of the good pop from the late 90s to early 2000s, they encompass nearly the entire range of quality music to be put on radio in the west that people who played these games at the time would know and love. Anything older and people who liked playing video games would be much less likely to enjoy them; anything newer is more and more awful as time progresses, in line with the general degradation of culture. It will only get worse. And with Dan Houser, Leslie Benzies, and Michael Unsworth gone, I don't any hopes for GTA VI or whatever comes after.
I'M GONNA BREAK MY RUSTY CAGE
Bow wow wow yippie yo yippie yay Doggy Dogg's in the mothafrickin' house
BOW WOW WOW YIPPIE YO YIPPIE YAY DEATH ROW'S IN THE MOTHAFRICKIN' HOUSE
Lucifer son of the morning
I'm gonna chase you out of earth
WCTR was better than VCPR, so yes.
GTA IV and VC stories had the best radios come the frick on guys you even save phil fricking collins on a mission
>Did it have the best radio?
For classic music, definitely, every station is full of timeless hits. I like 4's radio a bit better, for its wider genre variety.
la vida es una lenteja o la tomas o la dejas
OH I LOVE A RAINY NIGHT
SHOWERS WASH
ALL MY CARES AWAY
Best radio
Best atmosphere
HERE COMES AMOS!
IN THE DESERT
YOU CAN REMEMBER YOUR NAME
I miss the 2000's so bad bros it's insane...
Reminder that anyone who wants to replay San Andreas should use https://www.definitive-edition-project.com/sa-de
Or just emulate the PS2 version on ps4
>Or just emulate the PS2 version on ps4
homie why? The mod let's you go higher than 30 FPS and has all of the console post-processing effects (optional), like trails and the orange tint. Unless you don't have a PC I don't see the reason to limit yourself to a worse version of the game.
last time i played sa on a console like half the music was missing
That's how I replayed the entire GTA 3d trilogy
GTA SA one has some fps issues but the rest is great
>Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
>La la la la la la...
Vice City was the best for me.
San Andreas is my favorite game by far but I have to admit Vice City had the better radio. I honestly cannot think of a higher quality collection of licensed music in all of gaming.
JESUS MY SAVIOR
Not even fricking close... What kind of mongoloid could believe SA radio is better than 3 or VC? K-Rose is solid, the rest is hit or miss and is pretty forgettable, just like most of the game. Worst PS2 GTA and it isn't close.
Vice city and San Andreas aren't competitors. They're the same kino with different moods. These games brought me some of the best that music has to offer from the 70s to 90s in my formative years.
Without this guy you wouldn't have RPG elements San Andreas. RIP Eric Walters.
K-DST only
>90% of music was just shitty 'black music'
If you group with the propganda machine of the USA, then yes, homie, it be da dopest and illest shizz dey evah do be playin'
If you're normal then no, it was pure shit
It's not 90%. Please speak plainly without exaggeration.
He is moronic and doesn't know you can change radio stations
RADIO X for me.
Vice City's was better, it fit the mood of the game more. SA has good music but it never meshes eith the feel of the world unless you're listening to Black personbops
>SA has good music but it never meshes eith the feel of the world unless you're listening to Black personbops

Too many fake ads that break the flow. Guess they were fun as frick to write and record but not much fun to listen to for the 1000th time
i'd say it's dependent on the setting. driving through whetstone while listening to krose is kino but so is listening to flash fm in vice city too
