I loved the resistance series
ps3 always had games, but never close to the PS2 so nogames was sort of making fun of it. Then ps4 came out and by comparison had nogames so everyone made fun of it. Then PS5 came out and it literally has no games, no meme intended, so it seems to be a self fulfilling prophecy.
The PS3 only had 30 less games than the 360 (180 vs 210) so I don't get why people only shit on the PS3. Both are inferior to the PS2/Xbox.

360 had the better mutliplat performance by far, also good ps3 exclusives only came after 2009, so for the first half of the gen it was a punching bag and rightfully so it was a too complex to work with piece of shit
If you want to bring out multiplats then PC wins. Besides, the 360 games were only like 10% better than the PS3 versions, not like how the Xbox versions of 6th gen games were 2x better than the PS2 versions. Of course there's the REALLY BAD PS3 ports like the Bethesda or Rockstar games or Bayonetta, but most games were slightly worse and that only lasted until like 2010.
I have a PS3 but I might get a 360 to play proper versions of multiplats like GTA or RDR but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
Well nowadays games are getting bigger and take longer to complete, so each console will be more nogames than the last. The PS4's was terrible (60 games) and the PS5's will be worse (I'll assume 30).
First half of the generation Microsoft was paying a shitload of money for timed exclusives and exclusivity deals for third party games. So things like Mass Effect 1 and Dead Rising 1 weren't on PS3 but were on 360 and those were huge hits that felt next gen at the time.

if you're not going to use a PC, yes
from what I've seen only the Rockstar and Bethesda games and Bayonetta were terrible on PS3. Most were only slightly worse.
Also in getting a 360 which is BC, are the OG Xbox versions of games also superior to the PS2 versions?
Before MLAA was a thing that PS3 devs could employ, the multi-plat difference would basically be 360 running a near locked target framerate w/ 4xMSAA, while PS3 will barely maintain 30fps with no AA solution.
Hope you all know that every new generation of consoles that come out have less and less of a library. Until you get to the end of their cycles and have a load of indie developers make metroidvanias all over
