It does. Both Kenji Anabuki and Keita Iizuka have taken a lot of the feedback to heart and want to improve the sequel with better presentation, more in-depth combat further exploration the world and concept of superpowers.
Combat just didn't work, you had to commit to each attack and couldn't cancel them to dodge. Dodging also felt wrong, probably fricked up hitboxes.
Also only 2 playable characters.
He had such a weird character, like he was obsessed with working out but he was tiny and non-muscular, yet he worked out like 4 hours a day and made his own protein shakes/diet. He wanted to be strong/cool like his brother who was actually insane.

I absolutely loved Scarlet Nexus, very fun and comfy game. Amazing soundtrack.
