How to spot a bad game/movie
is there a difference in the end if you do all the quests to find out you're a super mutt?

Yeah, I found it weirdly dull. I liked the setting and the tech level, it's unusual to see a game set in that transitional period. I got to the big halfway point twist and just kind of lost interest. I don't know what it was, maybe the writing or the voice acting?
The game was too long. I beat it but it was an absolute slog towards the end. If they cut out 10-15 hours of the game, it would've been far better imo

I beat the game, got a shit ending because I didn't give the island to the Uncle Tom native, and then played the final quest again and got a much better ending from siding with my cousin.
It's amazing how much that ending actually improved my opinion of the game.

Depends on your tolerance for obvious scope being beyond the developer's means. Its a very half-baked and padded game with lots of copy pasta because the game they wanted to make was clearly too big for their budget.
It's a slow burn. It's not an action game, it's about diplomacy and politics.

I was enjoying it for a bit and then got bored and dropped it, not sure how far I got, but for the first like 5-10 hours it was somewhat fun I gotta admit. The party members were all trash and annoying though, so that was one thing that turned me off of it. The writing wasn't very good either
