Didn't see a trophies thread. What you fellas working on? I decided to platinum every FromSoft game and after spending over 100 hours in DS2 realized there's a glitch that prevents getting the spells trophies. Anyone experience a massive kick to the nuts while you're trying to platinum a game?

whats the glitch
I can't seem to get Master of Sorceries unlocked. I got Hexes, but I heard the same can happen to all of them. I have no fricking clue how to fix it and have tried the only fix on YouTube. It sucks, because I actually wanted those plats, and didn't plan to give up after getting DS1.
Pussy is overrated. That being said, I have a broken collerbone and can't work right now, or do anything for that matter, so this is my life, unfortunately. After I'm healed up I probably won't game unless it's raining outside or I'm injured/sick.
I'm 33 and I have pretty severe OCD. When I get fixated on something I won't stop until I've stomped the game. Games just aren't that fun anymore and it's something to look forward too, also. Hollow Knight is my unicorn.
>this is what no pussy does to a mf
I honestly hate trophies and their inclusion in modern games and wish they never happened.
This, who gives a flying frick as long as you are having fun
I hate games that are designed to give people easy platinums. There's a fricking Mayo dressing game where you just click the same button over and over until you get a platinum.
It's a good way to make people experience all a game has to offer
I'm trying to platinum Last Of Us II at the minute, but none of the trophies are difficulty bound which kinda cheapens the challenge to an easter egg hunt. I'm making a personal challenge to complete a NG+ playthrough on Survivor+ and collect ALL optional items. I'm on Seattle Day 3 Ellie and I'm completely out of equipment and have a mandatory action segment coming up. Seattle Day 2 has a segment that took me a few hours to get through as I had no silent ranged weapons and had to go full stealth. It's probably one of the hardest stealth action challenges I've ever tried, it rivals MGS2 Big Boss challenge for me. There's a lot of hidden strategy that went into it that I didn't take into account, like having to manage what equipment I use in which segments. I'd recommend it for anyone who enjoys stealth action challenges. Also turn off accessibility settings like enemy direction indicators and auto pickups and the like.
Sounds like you're doing it the right way. TLOU1 was my third plat, and the online grind was actually kind of fun. TLOU2 is a different story. It's actually 80% story. I finished it again recently, wanting to platinum both, but frick is it boring. I had to put it down again. Good luck.
No clue. Sometimes they just won't unlock. Hexes unlocked. I read a similar thing with someone who couldn't unlock pyro, but got miracles. I've checked the list multiple times, and have an assload of extra Sorceries too. It just won't unlock. I want to try to get the other ones and start a new character, but frick, I've already invested a lot of time. Thankfully I have another character pretty far along. But I think for now I'm gonna go back to Hollow Knight.
have you tried putting the spells into inventory storage and then pulling them all back?
I actually have not tried that since I got all of them, but I will now. I hope it works. Either way, I appreciate the input. The only other thing I saw online was to discard and rebuy, or find, which I've tried a number of times. It's pretty bunk.
I'm skipping the cutscenes but the reason most people don't want to go through it again is because there is so many segments of just long walking with no enemies. When you're on the higher difficulties, you PRAY for those moments to replenish supplies, just hoping there's another 1/4 rag to make a health kit. It's good shit on the higher difficulties. Plus I gotta go to every nook and cranny of every objective and combat area. I can't just bypass the combat areas, I have to actually loot them because I NEED supplies which can only be got there (ammo & consumables). It's tough. Big recommend for a personal challenge.
Never heard of a glitch with DS2 achievements/trophies, but doing a quick search, it seems that one of two things might be the cause:
-Getting the last sorcery in offline mode
-Having your last sorcery be a purchase from Straid
In both cases it seems like it was fixed by just finding another sorcery with that character, provided you have all the sorceries on the same character.
Yeah, I tried to discard and rebuy from Straid. I tried going Offline then back on. I'm gonna try the inventory thing, but if those didn't work, I really don't see how that could. The only thing I can think, is the video I watched had all the sorceries in the same order as the game, but the last two ones on my attune spells list were backwards.
What glitch? I just got it months ago

Never heard of that. I have plat in that game and all chievos on Steam.
(Scholar version)
Just Cause 2 on PS3 with no updates had a fuel tanker hidden beneath the ground so you couldn't get 100% chaos no matter what.
You can't get 100% completion on any version of Just Cause 2 because of a glitched water tower, and the fact that the final mission doesn't give the upgrade parts rewards that every other story mission gives (but the game still expects you will receive).
These can be fixed with mods on PC obviously, but this was never officially fixed on any version.
I don't understand how you can frick up so badly. Even worse are online trophies that you're completely locked out of once the servers go down. I try not to even buy those games.
Platinumed Lamentum. Good indie horror game

Man, just realize that DS2 takes a little while to get used to, but once you do, it's the most addicting, and definitely has the most content. Everything about it is layered. My biggest complaint is that dumb bullshit they pulled with the way the world is mapped out, but each area is interesting and unique. Not to mention it's far more layered than any other souls game. Once I realized that you can actually grind and farm; I was in love.
How long did it take you to 100% DS2?
Achievements and trophies exposed casuals so fricking hard. It would be no big deal if they didn't seethe over them. Just hide your profile and pretend you play games. lel
You do have spells from DLCs, right?
Yeah man, I've got every singly one. It's maddening. You can google it, it's legit. 91% completion, but frick if I want to play for another 60 hours.
>nuclear throne out on xbox
>achievement for daily challenge
>there are no daily challenges on rhe xbox version
I finally got my 2nd ever Platinum. My first was Assasins Creed II nearly a decade ago. Tonight I finished out Bloodborne, I started playing it in Fall of 2019 since I didn't have a PS4 until then and was just sorta lazy about getting the last 2.
I had to give my US copy to a friend in need and got myself an Old Hunters edition for the sake of it being for another region, had to restart my character. Finally busted out getting all the weapons, because I missed hunters torch that time. And the chalice dungeon one which was more work then I wanted to deal with earlier on. Only mild frustration on Clearing the 4th chalice since health was halved. Was kinda cool to get a plat again considering I count BB as my favorite game.
>Bloodborne plat
Impressive. That was one I wanted to do before I had ever gotten one. That chalice dungeon busted my stinker and I gave up, though. That goddamn watchdog. Motherfricker kills you in two hits, and I just lost the patience. Not to mention, by the time you get to the defiled chalice, you're pretty much burnt out...Chalice dungeons are not that games strong suit.
