Deus Ex is 6 years away, everything is looking like its falling in place to match what the game depicts for the world other than the augments, can someone give me some hopium for human augmentation in its current form and how we will achieve what the game depicts in 6 years.

Most people say skip Invisible War but if you do you might be disappointed with HR/MD. The Jensen games are really good but they don't quite reach the same heights as the original. But Invisible War was such a disappointing disaster that if you play that, Human Revolution comes off as being fricking great.
Other than that try System Shock 2 and the first two Thief games if you like the stealth.

Give Invisible War a try as well, if you don't like it you can safely skip it though. No other Deus Ex games compare to the original.
