>"excuse me, there's a fly in my soup" >"OH NOOOO FLIES EXIST? SMALL FLYING INSECTS SHARE THE EARTH WITH ME AAIIIEEEE THEIR EXISTENCE IS LITERALLY KILLING ME HELP ME FLYSWATTER MAN"
lol?
Original Vash looked like a millennial homosexual, that's the point. He's only supposed to look cool to kids. People who were 20-30 back then thought he looked stupid. He literally has frosted tips like some N'Sync band member.
>it's bad on purpose
ok. at best this is bullshit, and at worst they're deliberately pushing away their audience in exchange for a new one that will never grow. either way, frick whoever decided on that redesign.
It was all a trap, the whole series was a PREQUEL to the most important event of the backstory of the original trigun, during that event Vash actually gets his famous haircut and the new character gets KILLED OFF to be replace by the original tall girl.
The series starts with them saying they're heading to July. Which was fricking destroyed in the OG anime already and holy frick was it mostly filler stories that were never in the manga.
>starting the remake with the ship crash because it's chronological
I dropped it halfway through. At least the original knew how to actually tell a story. I swear I'm not a "old=good"-gay either.
This homie lookin' ZESTY, this homie lookin' MOIST, he's got sugar in his tank, he's light on his feet, he's a Ill bit fruity, he plays for the other team, he dances at the other end of the ballroom, this homie theatrical, this homie good with colors, this homie gonna coordinate yo curtains wit you cushions and that shit gonna look good! This homie lifts shirts, this homie on the down low, this homie be a tollet trader, this homie gardens uphill, this homie packs fudge, he's a friend of Dorothy, he feels the love that dare not speak Its name, he loves to dance, he's of the Uranian brotherhood, he indulges in the French vice, he has an antipathic sexual Instinct, he's fluent in Polari, he's a refugee from Sodom, he's on the wrong bus, he bats for the other team, he's temperamental, he's 'one of them' if you catch my drift.

yeah, that's a huge mistake. They need to introduce the Gung Ho Guns first, then Legato, then Give us the fricking backstory. They completely fricked up but literally dropping the reveal right our the gate, fricking Black folkSSS deserve their doomed world, I'm 36 and don't care anymore
The new RH art isn't just bad stylistically - it is bad on a fundamental, technical level. The character's limbs are vastly differing lengths even when on the same horizontal plane.
Meanwhile the old art, while not technically fantastic, looks fantastic because of the use of high contrast and muted colors.

Vash's look it too iconic of the style of his time. It really does not work at all like this. Same thing with Alucard from Hellsing. Just imagine him in that soft flat minimalist look.
It's fun and things with this vibe don't get created anymore, should be immediately obvious if you watch the OP

>idolized him
he was moronic then, Vash is an interesting character but even then it isn't as if the story is a philosophical masterpiece or anything, it just has interesting ideas that handled decently enough to not fumble everything
Hellsing 2001 is better, but it's not the worst. Setting and atmosphere are excellent, characters and story are alright, I didn't like the way it ended but whatever.
Hellsing TV kinda sucks. It has a nice sense of style and does fun things with its color palette, especially early on, but the fact that the money ran out halfway through is really apparent, especially with the fricking final battle of all things happening offscreen and being followed with a "Poochy died on the way back to his home planet" tier title card resolution.
The soundtrack is incredible though, genuinely one of the best ever made.
i didnt mind the changes with xenoblade.
they looked fricking too weird in the original. like a cross between more of a realistic art style and a muppet
This look actually fits this interpretation/iteration of the character. If anyone watched Stampede they would know that the old look does not fit that version's Vash
Depends.
zesty vaush
>at the end he goes back to his old look
Now it's kino.
still looks like a zoomer
OH NOOOO CHILDREN EXIST? PEOPLE YOUNGER THAN ME SHARE THE EARTH WITH ME AAIIIEEEE THEIR OPINIONS ARE LITERALLY KILLING ME HELP ME GENERATION MAN
>"excuse me, there's a fly in my soup"

lol?
>younger people simply existing makes this anon unable to eat
You should share this with a psychiatrist not us
Are you moronic? People liked Trigun for it's sci-fi western style so of course they are upset it got changed to look like something else.
1) I never mentioned Trigun my black friend
2) Trigun is a mid anime
3) Frick you bloody
>children
Im a zoomer and im 24
Still a child in America

This doesnt look like his old self you fricking dumbass moron. Thats some frickign Donte white hair levels of cope and cuckery.
What the FRICK were they thinking with this?

It's not a secret at this point.

all remakes are bad and to be ignored, unless they're from the same team iterating on it or porting it within a few years since the original release.

it can be okay sometimes, i have no issue with the resident evil redesigns

Looking back, it really wasn't that great of a game.
sometimes it's okay
I don't really mind going from Max Payne 1 to Max Payne 2
IT'S PAYNE
No Milly no watch!
Vash's look it too iconic of the style of his time. It really does not work at all like this. Same thing with Alucard from Hellsing. Just imagine him in that soft flat minimalist look.
Somebody tried to get me into this series in the gaygiest way possible. The dude idolized this character. Well Ganker can you sell the show to me?
Watch the show. If you don't like it by the fifth episode then drop it.
It's fun and things with this vibe don't get created anymore, should be immediately obvious if you watch the OP

the more boichi I see, the less appealing it gets
I don't like it either but always found boichi's gigachad Vash pretty funny

I wish Ishii did more soundtracks. His work in Drifters was still fantastic.
It’s a Christian series in a sea of overdone tropes made by primarily homosexual pagan-lites in denial.

it's got a great soundtrack and johnny young bosch and some of the best animation thats been lost to time, come on now
>Maximum will NEVER be adapted properly
I'm gonna say it, the 98 anime is better than the manga.
Some parts are better some parts are worse really
i hope that's not vash the stampede
How can there be love and peace when people do shit like this? Hope they get burnt or something, fricking hacks.
my two favorite anime are Outlaw Star and Big O
Yes.
i didnt mind the changes with xenoblade.
they looked fricking too weird in the original. like a cross between more of a realistic art style and a muppet
it depends on if I like the new look or not
I just wish the plant designs weren't so fricking ugly and the cg makes it worse
All Vash are cute
The movie any good? Its next up in my backlog.
badlands rumble? it's real good
badlands rumble? it's real bad
Yes, honestly I find most remakes utterly moronic outside of a few outliers.
Hear me out: A Trigun boomer shooter where your focus is on making non-lethal shots.
Do you just game over if you blow someone's head off?
This look actually fits this interpretation/iteration of the character. If anyone watched Stampede they would know that the old look does not fit that version's Vash
I wanted to frick the tomboy with all the derringers
Not when it's Vash
They are following the nanga so it's not really a remake.
yes
Is it true that Gungrave and Trigun are set in the same story universe, albeit seperated by large swathes of time in-universe?
never heard this theory. the only thing i remember about gungrave is BEYOND THE GRAVE, what a name
