Generally no, unless you want to play light gun games.

Are you surprised that /qa/gays would spam BBC shit?

Nope, that seems to be a genuine Blacked.com logo flashing in the bottom right on those porn frames. Your day being ruined by not getting to see CP makes my day, though.

I prefer pixelated but that's because I used emulators since the late 90s and on a crt at 1024x768 it pretty much looks identical to lcd. The only positive side of crts for me are motions. Games like sonic mania are locked at 60hz at it looks like smeared shit to me and what's baffling is that the majority don't seem to care about it.

So was /qa/ basically a board where the autists were so low functioning that they just screeched the same two or three words at each other 24/7 and it never got old for them?

The human vocabulary needs no more than "cope", "seethe", and "dilate".

    Only if you have autism
Frick, most of us grew up on shitty CRTs and hate the idea of going back
Meanwhile you got zoomers spending hundreds on premium PVMs that nobody used in the real world

(I'll make exceptions for old light gun games since those dont work on modern screeens)

generally no but can be the cheaper option if you don't aim specifically for holy grail high end models as the alternative is something like the retrotink or other scaler as modern displays are so far removed from the 240p hack of the 480i standard if they support analog input at all they frequently get confused and display a muddy image with a massive amount of latency.

i've seen some modern tvs do some really bizarre shit to the already muddy N64 image.
