Emulation is its own speedrunning category. Using MAME is fine, you just have to declare it. Billy is lying about it because the video he provided brazenly abuses save states, and the only plausible way he can deny it is to say he was using original hardware.

Back in 2009 during the last recession, I applied for Disability AKA NEETbux as a safety net. Well I was approved so then used that to get my college degree paid for by Vocational Rehabilitation.
Then I used the knowledge I gained from obtaining said degree to start building real life experience which I then used to set up a tax shelter non profit which I use to not pay any taxes and get funding because I help NEETs get NEETbux.

No, but I think people that act like cheating is justified because the game either "cheats you" or because the game's microtransactions are "too predatory" are scum of the Earth. At that point you should go F2P, or if you can't, you would almost certainly be better off playing a different fricking game.
