  1. I ordered a ps5 with the negro spider-man game and death stranding, I actually wanted it to replay ghost of tsushima in 4k/60fps and I might wanna try last of us part 2. I sold my One X a while ago because there’s just no point considering it has no exclusive games and because I play everything else on pc

  2. I pre-ordered my SeX from the Microsoft store.
    >Noooooo don’t pre-order, what if they have problems
    Looks who’s laughing now, nerds

  3. There isnt a single game on them that’s worth playing. At least the Series X can play Ninja Gaiden black though, it is by far the better system.

  4. I have an Xbox Series X which replaced my OG Xbox One. Got it at MSRP online from Best Buy, apparently super lucky as I just happened to check stock during a drop.

At MSRP the hardware itself is WELL worth the price, though I still prefer my modest 1070-powered PC for most games.

I use GamePass to try out games I’m interested in, and if I absolutely love them I end up buying them on PC, recent example: Outer Wilds. But honestly I mostly use it for Netflix/Hulu/HBO.

  5. I have a SeX on the way that has been in shipping hell for about 2 weeks now. Finally the expected delivery is this Friday. I have an xbone already and don’t really need the SeX but I expect prices to get even worse as the years closes out and I want 60 FPS MHW and decent loading times for everything else ASAP.
Almost got a PS5 instead but then realized I don’t care about capeshit and that I only really used my PS4 for MGSV, Battlefront 2 multiplayer with my buddies, Spiderman and now Death Stranding. Nothing else on it really interests me and the no back comp is kind of a fucking drag. Oh I guess I wouldn’t mind ghost of sushi at some point but I have too much other shit already.

      • I guess I meant with my PS3 shit. I have a big physical PS3 collection that I unfortunately can only play on my PS3 whereas Xbox has a decent list of back comp at this point with maybe more on the way (rumor)

      • But the games are played in "PS4 Pro" mode, there is no enhancements, no Auto-HDR, no quick resume. It might as well be a glorified PS4 Pro. I guess it makes more sense if you skipped PS4 but I assume very few people did.

  6. I’ll probably get an Xbox. Never played Halo before. The PS5 I would consider once a slim version comes out with good games like Socom or Warhawk.

  7. I really like my XSX, it’s a handsome little thing. I don’t care much for graphics but I love how fast things load and how smooth things play.

  8. I have a ps5, mostly use it to play ps4 games in pro mode since I never bothered to get one. Also played ratchet and des remake. And deathloop.

Its not really worth it unless you’re playing lots of ps4 games. Genuinely, there isn’t that much ps5 only content to justify it, (yet?) So meh. The scalping especially. Just get a separate pa4 and hack it if you’re paranoid about that sort of stuff.

  9. Yep I got a Series X. My PC had just died and I was a bit done with PC gaming. I have a new PC now so I play it less, but for AAA third person games, Xbox on a nice TV is king. It’s just comfy. I will also play Halo on it, it just doesn’t feel right otherwise.
While I really like PC gaming, I love the hassle free experience of consoles. I don’t have time for hardware/software shenanigans

      Yep, this is me.
Got a Series X because I’m tired of the PC maintenance.

      • Best console for people that are coming from PC for sure.

It’s strong enough to rival some great cards and the ML stuff might prove really useful in the future.

  10. I have a Series S and X.
They work in unison in both my living room and office.
Highly recomended, especially with Game Pass.

  11. I have both. I use the series x and I’m trying to scalp the PS5 on eBay(I didn’t open it) but it’s not selling for some reason. It was actually pretty easy to get I just followed the tech radar guy on Twitter and enabled notifications so whenever he posted about restocks I tried to get them. Got both in about a week and a half with like 2-3 attempts per console. It’s really not that hard once you get restock notifications

    • These companies should be bending over backwards to make it easy and desirable for me to buy the console, not the other way around.

      • How is signing up for notifications difficult? If you don’t like twitter there are websites like hotstock or nowinstock that work the same way you provide your email address and sign up for notifications of specific products. It’s not work you get notifications to your phone when something comes in stock. If you want the shot that’s hard to get it’s a super easy way to get them

  12. Have had a PS5 since launch
Only next game I’ve played on it is Astrobot that came with it, and R&C.
Platinumed both, meanwhile I platinumed GoW when they patched it with 4k res and shit.

Apart fromthat, a bunch of couch games with mates when they are over.
    Such as Overcooked and shit

    >Why not more next gen titles
I play them on my 4,5k pc
