What exactly do you dislike with KOF or Vs series fighters? In most one on one fighters you will get crushed by a counter match if you stick to the same character all the time.
I wish CvS 2 had a better roster. One character from Darkstalkers and two characters from Sam Sho is terrible. The music and stages are really great. Easily better than the garbage in MvC 2.
I just think that roster variety means more than that. It would be really great to see SNK and Capcom's histories instead of Evil Ryu, Dark Iori or whatever his name is, and the plethora of other clone characters.
Why couldn't they just have gone with a compilation of all the stages in the series and maybe a couple new ones instead of the shitty handful of random 3D locations? Or more Capcom/Marvel characters instead of dumb OCs? Or a proper soundtrack instead of weird lounge muzak?
Clocktower and Ruby Hearts ship are cool stages and some people like the new tunes. The lack of animations was disappointing but when the gameplay is so on point you tend to look past all that.
