he was the original, first being in the universe and created jekkad as his realm. but he grew sad about his subjects dying, so he created a new realm, urdak, and its inhabitants the maykr, and tasked them to find the cure for immortality for his subjects on jekkad. with the hivemind davoth granted to the maykrs they eventually discovered the secret to immortality but deemed it too dangerous to hand over to davoth (he had become increasingly a more angry god punishing maykrs for not doing good enough job). with their technology, the maykr sealed davoth away in jekkad which made davoth (now in the process of becoming the dark lord) grow extremely angry which corrupted his paradise and turned it into the hell dimension. since jekkad was the original dimension created, every dimension created afterwards was connected to it. so demons could invade every dimension the father eventually went on creating after defeating davoth in battle (thanks to maykr tech) and absorbing his power. but the father refused to kill davoth which the dlc is about

the good thing about the lore, at least in eternal, is that you can 100% skip it

>meanwhile the leader of the maykrs, khan maykr (who has an entire greentext worth of lore behind it as well), discovers hell energy and that mixing it with the argenta wraith energy gives out argent energy which is epic and makes his species effectively immortal (gods as they advertised their whole species as)
>the knight sentinels discover doomguy on their trip to hell
>doomguy joins them
>more greentext ensues
>argenta priests, known in the games as hell priests, either get corrupted or agree with the dark lord (not clear) and decide to help him
>send the knight sentinels including doomguy to their deaths (this is the trip where doomguy gets entombed and is woken up at the beginning of 2016)
>hell takes over the argenta planet, just as khan maykr planned
