The mouse wheel sits in a plastic tray thing that gets clogged with hair and dead skin. Clean that out and it works fine. I've had mine since 2014 and had to do it a couple times now.
I've had two of these that have had the scroll wheel break and come loose. After that, both times, pressing the free scroll latch would inadvertently middle click.
It probably happened because I prefer to tilt the scroll wheel to middle click rather than pressing it down, but that really shouldn't be enough to damage it.
At least I got replacements for free each time.
buy some replacement switches. they are moronicly cheap. heat the pins then pull it loose, slot the new switch in, place a drop of soder on and its new
>get two of them and they both have double clicking and about 50% of the time right clicks won't work and/or are held down by itself until it decides to work again after mashing 10+ times >left side is now starting to hold itself down at times as well, just not as frequently
I've only used these things for a few months if even, so what the frick? I had a different Logitech mouse that lasted for years with only minor double clicking but the 502 Hero gets problems in just a couple months without even that much usage because I'm a wagie.
I've never been able to find a mouse with a button configuration that I like more than the G502. Two pairs of side buttons, one of which uses the index finger and another which uses the thumb, plus a G-shift button that essentially turns every other button into a new button adding extra versatility is just so good. There may be mouses with more buttons but having a keypad on the side of the mouse that you can only use your thumb on just isn't the same.
>Not even a year passes >Right click starts to show resistance >Both left and right click got double click issue >Scroll wheel started to squeak because it has worn out already >Scroll breaks and it's no longer usable
Maybe logitech has some issues but it's far from this Razer piece of shit.
I have used the same Corsair mouse for the last 6 years and I'm scared of getting anything new because everyone seems to be getting double clicks. I'd rather not risk it and will continue to use my mouse.
>Scroll wheel stops working
Have you checked that you haven't got hair jamming it?

i have one with a rounded logo and it hasn't started double-clicking yet
had it since 2016
Mine just started doing it, I use it for work currently. Lasted a few years before it started.

that's what you get for buying anything else except a cheap office mouse or a steelseries
>he didn't buy the warrant for his computer parts
Ngmi
>Buying warranty
>suffers through double clicks cause he didn't buy warranty.
yeah, that's called buying a shit product in the first place you homosexual
Yes, that's what the warranty is there for moron. You can't tell if the product is shit. Then you get it replaced and hope it's a good one.
*blocks you're path*
I expect products to break and judge them by how fast they degrade.
I've had mine since 2014.
Still works fine
Buy chinkshit.
Everything is chinkshit and that's the problem
lmao just buy a new switch for a dollar or whatever. You do know how to use a soldering iron, right?
>You do know how to use a soldering iron
no, because I'm not a chink Bugman working at a sweatshop.
Is that how w*men convince themselves never to learn any skill?
wtf are you talking about? almost half of chink sweatshop workers are women.
