The problem is they have been doing this for over 5 years. They are just being cheap, this is how they always frick up every other generation. Playstation and xbox are going to release handhelds. This is going to hurt Nintendo, I'm calling there next console a bust. Playstation and Xbox just need their gamepasses to add a kids version so you can have games for yourself and your kids. Nintendo is going to lose out big next gen because they don't have a sub service and charge the max for their games.
Nintendo will always do well as long as they have their exclusive IPs and they remain popular.

The issue is that having 300 people on a game compared to 60 doesn't make development go 5X as fast, it's not that linear.
