They just threw away their main appeal of DRM-free games.

They're currently in the process of going back on their DRM free philosophy, which is literally the only reason to use their store, and is the reason why many of the people who use their store do so.

Timmy's too busy losing in court against Apple to also fight Valve.
And they still haven't put in a shopping cart.

Tencent and other chinese gaming companies will implement a "No addiction" feature to games. Since Tencent is the owner of EGS (Tim is just a puppet) it is believed that it will also be applied to EGS outside of China in some way or another.

you know how epics been hemorrhaging money since fortntie was taken off the app store? its going to stay off it for 5 more years.
EGS isn't even projected to be profitable until 2027. they cucked themselves out of one of the biggest wings of their market for several years, the ships going down

        >you know how epics been hemorrhaging money since fortntie was taken off the app store?
        No?
The Apple store made them the least amount of money of all the stores they're on by a fairly large margin. It's literally why they chose to go after Apple and not any of the other companies.

Nobody actually buys from GOG because no DRM means their games are easy as frick to pirate.
They probably loosened their no-drm policy because they're bleeding money for it.
