Replaying the game to get ready for the DLC and it's honestly still such a blast, and the game is very much alive. Are other anons doing the same? What build / aesthetic are you going for?
Trying out a Dex/Faith build with a focus on Frenzy and Dragons in contrast to my first playthrough as a INT/ARC chad.

I'm playing DD 2 and coming off from there makes ER look like a point and click adventure.
Ignore and hide anons, don't let the thread devolve because of these children.
I'm having a blast playing video games
Who cares about this crap when DD2 has just launched
Also imagine buying a $40 DLC lmao
That 40 dollar DLC will have more enemies and bosses than the entirety of Dragon's Dogshit 2.
DD2 makes this game look like it was developed in India
Did a crucible knight playthrough last month collecting all their gear and incantations, the DLC is adding the wings to complete the set.
Does it come with the ability they use though?
Can imagine it being quite janky or having you fall off a cliff accidently.
I don't know they just show it briefly at the end of the trailer
Hope they go all out with it.
I'll stick to Skyrim and Witcher 3 since those are actual open world RPGs done right.
I just had the most garbage session dying to astel over and over again. Those cheap fricking grabs. I did get him using Latenna but there was no satisfaction, just emptiness
Is there any proper way to fight them as a melee build?
I dunno, but I'm generally against switching my build for one bad fight
Hit the head?
Hitting its legs, head, and tail. It is skinny but easy enough to hit and stays still for most of its attacks.
At least the grabs don't oneshot you at 60 vigor haha
Preparing my build for the DLC, it's a Str/Fth build with the Great Star and a greatshield infused with Golden Land AOW for maximum undeadable paladin style and the role-playing is fully devoted to the Erd Tree and it's teachings.
Still unsure what armor that can compliment my build the most, I've been thinking of the Haligtree knight set but I'll need to beat 80% of the game to get there.
>fully devoted to the Erd Tree
So the Leyndell Knight set, not the Haligtree set
I'm not even heavily leaning into bleed or dex I just use this because it's my favorite looking greatsword.
The bleed's a nice bonus though.
Where's this drop.
You find it in castle redmane after killing Radahn, a pumpkin head is guarding it
It only requires the festival to not be running. Killling radahn is only necessary if you've triggered the festival to start, so you can get it on a fresh character easily.
>Replaying the game to get ready for the DLC and it's honestly still such a blast
Stopped reading at that point
The frick is on her face?
rot symptom
The game is just soulless. Open world was a mistake.
I have a file that has Mohg finished and is just up to the mountain top of the giants.
Samurai build with the nagakiba, and a wakazishi for parrying Crucible gays. Will be using that save to jump into the DLC.
