Have they made a better weapon than bloodhound yet?
Wouldn't know, bloodhound gang for life
No
Some weapon have long r1 r2 but it's pointless because bosses do 50 combo then wait 0.5 second to let you poke 1 time
>sided with Hornsent over Leda
Did I frick up
You probably get to skip the dumbest "boss fight" in the game
On the other hand, you missed out on a boss fight
Damn, really? I'm guessing she was just Gideon 2?
Frick I hope I can still get her armor.
>Damn, really? I'm guessing she was just Gideon 2?
Worse
You have to fight her and every npc who's still loyal to her cause, depending on the quests you've done. It's an awful gank fight, imagine the gank fight from DS2 DLC1, but even worse
>spoiler
Holy shit lmao, well still hope I didn't miss any cool equipment. The backhand blade ash of war you get for helping Hornsent is cool though.
How the frick do I beat this fight without summons? I have the maximum amount of people because frick me. Is there some kind of ash of war that makes it easier because damn, this is absolutely terrible.
Yes, maybe.
If you kill Hornset her next target is Ansbach and helping him against Leda MIGHT be mandatory for his questline.
Anyway, you can't actually kill Leda because she's an invader or whatever and she will live anyway. But if you don't do the Hornsent fight, the Hornsent will assist Leda in a gank bossfight, if you help kill Hornsent obviously he won't show up but I'm assuming helping Hornsent will also make him not show up but I'm not sure.
>talk to leda
>asks who she should go kill or some shit
>get phone call, so I go sit at the grace
>"nvm i made up my mind lol"
???
Putrescent knight is fine but his hitbox is fricking intolerable
I have so many openings but only 1/3 of my attacks hit him because his hitbox is jank
Also his flame attack, how do you jump it?
the hitbox is fine considering you can do damage to him or his horse
what do you mean, it's easy to jump
>double bleed 2kata afraid of playing the game
pottery
5 minutes for the dragon to weaken the soldiers cause frick engaging with this crappy ass boss
i just skipped that one. already fought 2 bone dragons and they didn't drop anything good so i'm assuming this one just gives me a dragon heart and souls
I just beat that one.
Waiting for all teh mobs to die is not worth it. The dragon actually aggros to them pretty well and if you're on horseback you can go in, swing and get out before the melee mobs care/notice usually.
The biggest issues is the two knights with bows. They just don't give a frick and fire at you over the dragon 90% of the time.
So rush in, kill those two, then start picking away at the dragon. Get a nice chunky weapon and the Horseback Talisman on and keep giving it the runaround and keeping away from the other dudes when you aggro them. They're basically free summons here.
why does the game look so... dark?
They don't call it the Realm of Shadows for nothing
it dropped an ancient somber. it took me like 30 minutes to finally kill it because it goes crazy all over the map and the stupid knights turn 180 degrees and autotarget you mid swing if you're closer to them than the dragon. the ranged ones are even worse, they 360 no scope you from across the map. i regret fighting it immensely.
i am so happy they put actual death knights in and i want that fricking armor
post john eldens
I got it
The guy is at the bottom of a catacombs somewhere
He’s a cool fight, can heal to full if he grabs you
I noticed that but I usually just frickin died to the grab so it didn't really matter
Armour is kinda hidden, it's in a crypt, obviously, but it's in a crypt where the boss is not actually a Death Knight, without giving too much away
Nta but I did that crypt what are you referring to?
The Death Knight armour, it's hidden in that crypt, if we're talking of the same one
>boss is not actually a death knight
That’s what you said i’m asking about
The guy with two electroc axes and grab succs you isn’t a death knight?
No, then you haven't done the crypt I'm talking about. That crypt ends with a holy enemy who summons adds.
Electric axe guy is a Death Knight
Love the armor and helm. Where do I get that?
NTA but that looks like rakshasa's armor from the eastern mausoleum and the head is from the giant bear boss in sculta
Thank you!
You're paying 50% more FP per spell for just 10% extra damage with that staff
Not worth it at all.
i was using it along side graven mass talisman before but now my armors too heavy to fit it in, good call though
Just found an even bigger stick
I love using Lion's Claw with that thing, wonder how the upgraded version of the ash works with it
I don't know if this was true of the original Lion's Claw but the new one has a follow-up attack if you hit the button again. Very satisfying.
my mimic is having fun with the skibidi tree game.
i help too sometimes
reverend ash has made my mimic so fricking tanky. crazy they spent so much time adding spirit ashes in the dlc when anyone summoning is just gonna stick with the mimic
im pretty sure it was always tanky as frick as long as you gave it armor. my mimic was basically soloing bosses in 2022 after i just gave it some good armor and bleed weapons. but now its just unstoppable. i gave mine rivers of blood and 100 poise he can just rip into a boss's face proccing the 5k bleeds nonstop
On the other hand they also added fun as frick new ashes. I kinda feel like using as many different summons I can next run, sure YDBTG whatever there are so many of them and people only care about the mimic
is anyone using the dragon lady ash? more physical reduction sounds sick, game needs a good utility summon
she's kinda shit to be honest, very passive
does she just not attack or does she not even buff a lot? i'm cool with an aggro puller that doesn't hit much if they buff
Low Hp, low damage, extremely passive.
Where is his sword? in the cerulean coast right but where
From the west cerulean coast, go inwards, there's a boss fight that'll get you the sword
Wait the putrid knight of st trina?
It's the star sword thing from a demi-human boss, dex/int sword but it's more dex than int
This anon has it
It's off a miniboss near a shipwrecked coffin ship on the coast, you'll have to go into the landmass where it's a bunch of canyons. If you see demihumans you're on the right path.
Thanks babe
What do i do with that old lady after killing the divine beast? She's just moaning now.
try using your head
Oooooooooooooooooooo
try finger
but, hole
Where the beast head and talk to her she gives you a miracle I think
Yeah, i figured it out after the first reply. I'm dumb lol.
Anyone find any interesting quest lines or anything like that?
I found a man screaming in misery and a man who gave me a potion that kills you if you drink it. I cant give it to the screaming fellow and im scared to put him out of his misery
Keep both of those guys alive
Any INT-bros tried out the Star-Lined Sword yet? It's basically the only thing the DLC gives us.
I just got it to +10 after seeing how sexy it is and the weapon art. Looking forward to seeing if I'll regret this in a proper fight.
Is anyone else surprised by the amount of fricking nothing on them? I was going to b***h about getting smithing stones (2) but some areas don't even have that, also waay too many dead ends in certain areas.
Abyss Woods is the worst offender of this, you spend so much time walking around for two cookbooks.
Yeah it's bizarre how large that area is considering how little there is and you can't even mount up.
Just beat Rellana with my DMGS by actually blocking everything she does with a greatshield and spamming guard counters. frick I love guard counters so much
Now back to exploring the map trying to find alternate routes to everything. Getting to Scadu Plains or something before beating Rellana was fun, reminded me of the first way I went around Godrick.
DLC has the best establishing shots in the series. Every new area is like a painting
That looks terrible.
nice potato screenshot
Found a bug with his head stuck in the ground.
Am I supposed to whack him...?
St Trina is cute!!! CUTE!!!!!!
>We can't save St. Trina and get an ending with her
I'd safely replant her in a nice, big pot and take her home for cuddles and cooming on her sleeping face
Took me a while to even see her face
>D's armor with that helm
What is the deal with St. Trina? Why do you have to keep drink the nectar and dying?
I'm getting sick of the Golden Hippo animation cancelling and dashing faster than Malenia
Cheese his ass with Perfume Bottle
are perfume bottles any good? found the poison one...
If you get rolling sparks aow and aim at the floor it does a shit ton of damage, lightning was is probably the best though
The boss is annoying, but once you get the dodge timing down you can just hug it's side and it won't be able to hit you other than the occasional spine rain attack because sometimes it can hit you even when you spam dodge to avoid them.
I don't know I fought more against the environment in this fight than the boss itself. also frick dragons with their new wing attacks where they swipe forward at you.
Do I need to summon freyja to do her questline
no
So what I’ve gather from you guys is that the DLC is not good, $40 slop. And the base game is also not good, huge ripoff, too much open space, too many reused enemies and zero replayability. And DS2 is also the worst game ever and has correct hit boxes but also bad hit boxes and also bad mechanics and tried to fix roll slop but also is the opposite of fixing roll slop and is a disgrace to gaming. It seems like every From game is trash and we should all feel bad for even playing them. I hate myself after reading this board. Everything I enjoy is actually garbage and I hadn’t noticed.
anyone tried using both backhand blades?
You can get the version that isn't smithscipted from the enemies that use them.
is there anything wrong with smithscriped versions?
Int/Faith scaling.
Instead of the full moveset, you get a throwable weapon, it's just not really a backsword, it's a projectile weapon.
underground exploration kino
Definitely my favorite area so far, love crypts and caves
>exploration
that area is such a fricking disappointment
it's a ramp down with 4 graces
with laser hell hole segments and blowing up guys
those are just annoying, they're not even a challenge
Tanimura needs to be fired from the studio
he puts all the money into making the area like a painting, but the level is a literal corridor
you wouldnt get it
What happens if you say yest to the dragon communion lady?
Im not doing a dragon playthrough does it affect anything permanent?
Anyone tried a frost backhand blade build?
me but I have like 12 INT
Do you do a good amount of damage? I don't want to put too many points in int either but kinda wanna try it
They kinda suck on an INT build because dual wielding it keeps you from, you know, casting spells.
>Faith/Int
Why the frick does From want me to continue using the Wing of Astel and nothing else because all the DLC INT weapons (all 3 of them) are useless dogshit and they keep nerfing DMGS?
There's a perfect boss for int weapons but they're both int/fth it's a scam
>add another Faith/Int weapon
>It's actually just another version of Artorias Greatsword
I love having access to so many spells, but man I'm getting sick of most weapons being dog shit. Thinking of respecing to Int/Str at this point.
Int/Faith gets spoiled this DLC, you can't complain.
How so? What's good?
literally everything. play the game
Relenna's swords, for one. Almost every new weapon scales with Int/Faith, or with Faith/something else. It's only INT builds (pure int, int/dex, and int/str) that get shit on this DLC.
Khomie, I just mentioned how that's not an faith/int weapon. It's a Artorias style super quality weapon, it gets C in all stats, and leans physical anyway. SoNaF is B/B in Int/Faith.
Fricking post it, nerd.
I just slapped a frost ash on dryleaf's fists and am spell frying anything I can't pummel to death at this point
Is the anvil hammer as fun as it looks? I just beat Rellana with the Giant Crusher, so right now big hammers seem like a good deal to me right now, and since it's lighter it would let me use my usual armor instead of what I have on now.
What the frick am I supposed to about the Putrescent Knight's blue flames?
Do i just really have to hit the perfect fire roll?
If you played the DLC with the following:
>summons
>ashes
>leveling up
>scadutree fragments
>physick
>crimson tears
>cerulean tears
>smithing stones
>consumables
>weapons
>spells
>miracles
>enchantments
>moving in any general direction
>actually liking the DLC
>is a Virgo
>didn't like the egg on Instagram
>supports buck breaking
>eats their cereal with water instead of milk (the way God intended)
>is team Edward
>the dress is black and gold
You did not, in fact, beat the DLC
>monitor was above 51% brightness
for real though they must call it the shadow lands because I CANNOT FRICKING SEE EVEN WITH MY LANTERN OUT SOMETIMES
Thank you, I forgot that one.
Reminder that posts like these are made by summon and ash tards to try and skirt summon criticism by making it seem ridiculous
reminder that Red Bull will never sponsor you
I don't drink energy drinks
you'll never be a real esports king if you think you need to like or use products that sponsor you outside of the public eye
Do you think those cans are filled with Monster on concert tours, moronbro? No, they are Monster cans with water in them, dumb dumb.
You need to summon a mimic brain IRL
someone get this guy a phd in philosophy with how fast he figured that one out
are you perhaps familiar with a jest, nay, a jape?
Because it is ridiculous. You homosexuals equate using tools that are literally part of the game as chest engine. have a nice day, stupid fricktard homosexual.
Sorry that nobody replied to your 0 hit Melina, Goddess of Rot perfect kill on Reddit.
Judging from the number of seething replies you hit the nail on the head there.
the DLC would be fixed by removing the tree/ash items and just basing it on rune level. Also, bosses attacking less often and lower health pools.
>it's never your turn to attack
this is why people like the mimic. cause you ACTUALLY get a chance to hit them.
kek I just did that, waited for all the soldier to die
otherwise they just attack you it's nonsense
>find dungeon
>refuse to explore it because I'll probably get stomped without scadubydoo tree fragments
>leave a mark to return ot it later
>already have like 5 markers
>feel overwhelmed
Anyone else thinks this fragment system kinda blows?
I only feel the difference with the main bosses
when in doubt try it out
i've got 2 and was able to do the immediate ones pretty painlessly
The only time I felt I needed fragments was when I was trying bosses
Normal enemies can be annihilated by your arsenal at this point in the game, Thundercloud Form is my favorite method of nuking Black Knights
Siluria's Tree and a Golden Greatshield makes me feel like some burly riot cop manhandling whiny gender studies students, it's so good.
idk man, outside the bosses this DLC seems pretty close to Consecrated Snowfield difficulty
>enemy with two blades that spins faster than a beyblade
who thought this was a good idea
Guys radahn is filtering me, any advice? weapons/summons whatever
please respond i've been here for hours
i'm not there yet
sorry anon
offer him your bussy
radahn is not gay
i admitted defeat to him and went about exploring the rest of the map because i have no intention of running into a boss 500 times until i get the lucky run when the battle is balanced around you having maxed out skibidi
ask again next week
Wait for the inevitable nerf
Have you got all the scadutree/revered spirit ash blessings?
I got through with mimic tear, giant crusher, and deflecting hardtear and constantly perfect guard countered him. I got lucky in the second phase since he grabbed mimic and not me letting me get two big hits at the end of his animation.
Maybe i will respect and try that
wouldn't surprise me, guys second phase makes malenia look like a joke.
level 16 blessing, does it go higher? i feel like i've been everywhere
Where do i find that? i might already have it, and what build should i be using for it
the ash is on the hill SSE of the shadow keep
make sure to aim at the floor so they all stack up. and upgrade the perfume you put it on.
wall of sparks?
>level 16 blessing, does it go higher? i feel like i've been everywhere
Scadutree Blessing goes to 20. Revered Spirit Ashes goes to 9.
There's guides for all the Scadutree fragment locations.
already? how many of them you can get without engaging with the big baddies?
>mfw the archer randomly snipes from 1 kilometer away
Not sure. I know 5 fragments are locked behind Commander Gaius's fight behind Shadow Keep.
>any advice? weapons/summons whatever
use the perfume ash while aiming down. it takes off a quarter of his hp each time
Here's what you do, but don't tell Fromsoftware or they'll nerf this method too.
Don't fight him at all and just stand on the hill resummoning NPCs until they kill him.
anon...
I know, that's the joke.
it's not Radahn
>Scorpion River Catacombs
just finished it
AIDS
AIDS
AIDS
AIDS
AIDS
I expected scorpions
That was the worst one I've encountered so far.
for me it's the one with the room full of fat spear guys spamming bleeds.
Most of the legacy dungeons are kinda mid but this one was straight up ass. The gimmick seemed cool at first but it wore on me fast
Was that the death eye one?
yeah
So how much of the content is optional? is just rushing towards the tree in the north the only thing you need to do?
Nevermind I hit the putrid knights bluefire roll and beat him.
That's what all the bosses feel like so far.
They have 1 ultimate 1-shot finishing move which if I survive I win.
Mesmer is shitting on me hard. I had barely any trouble with the other bosses so far.
>reach final boss
>pretty cool to see prime radahn
>after many tries get him to phase
>literally goes super saiyan 3 and kills me in a few seconds
what the frick, he makes Malenia seem like a normal enemy
Any anons know how I can get to the map piece in picrel?
Go to the village where you meet the monk guy, that has a hole in it, and go north to the pond above it
Thanks, been driving me nuts reaching dead ends
Be careful there is a lot of shit to explore
the area on the right next to the cave seems to be like a swamp or something, how do you reach that area?
Black person i just drew the exact path to take with red arrows, what more do you want
there is like a small swamp but below that area there seem to be some ruins, how do you reach that?
Go die in a fire you literal moron
based anons thanks
70 hours in paint
do you get to these areas through the shadow fort?
i was sure that i found all the paths in there.
You do.
oh god, back to roaming the castle and searching for hidden paths and stuff i've missed.
Its been a sec but I think you need to go to a cave north of the collapsed village near the clock in your screenshot
I use summons
I beat the bosses easily with 1-2 tries
I am cruising through the DLC while you are mad and you try to assuage your fury with empty platitudes like "well...I...h..have honor...."
LOL!
good for you
Not only do I use summons, but I just fought Death Knight and didn't have any red or blue sips left when I got to him, so I let my mimic take him down the last 25%
I am simply smarter and more intelligent for using the tools I've been given
I use items, too
>Heh, I watch my summons beating every single boss, I totally did beat the game
Do shitters really?
>too stupid to use tools given to him in game
>dies 23443534 times
>complains on 4chins
>finally lucks a win by sheer chance
>"Heh...I did it with HONOR"
kek Black folk think they're digital samurai and shit
>What do you mean I can't just give myself 9999 of every stat, I'm just using save editing tools my OS gives me, totally legitimate way to play, stop dissing me
Is the colossal sword that you can find in one of the forges good? it looks neat
>die 15 times to a boss because you refuse to use a certain game mechanic (spirit ashes / summons)
is this autism? or just ds3 millenials thinking elden ring is a dark souls game
surely there is a faster way to topple these big torch homies
>deflecting hardtear
Holy shit this is fun to use. I wish it was a talisman.
>Kill the lord of frenzied flame
>Get his sword
>It doesn't inflict madness
???
Why the FRICK do you have to beat up his human form and skip the cutscene every single attempt? Usually with "le epic cutscene" bosses, they have the decency to get straight the actual boss when you pass thru the gate on re-attempts. This shit annoyed the frick out of me.
how many skibidi should i be at for messmer
This thing is so cool bros.
Slamming enemies running at you with an r2 or its skill is so fricking satisfying.
What's that?
first playthrough is so bittersweet, dunno which npc questlines im fricking up
What early STR weapon to use until i get to my build?
dex is better
Look at this horrendous color filtering. Just put the game in black & white at this point fromslurp
soo many cool weapons, sucks having to play this shit again on a new character tho.
Also anyone feels like the vertically just sucks the fun out of the game?
I agree, makes it much more tedious to get to things.
Also the skadoodle fragments are going to be tedious as frick to gather for new runs
>Also the skadoodle fragments are going to be tedious as frick to gather for new runs
Kind of like Golden Seeds, Sacred Tears, Map Fragments, and Smithing Stones? Are you telling me this game is overrated?
>he upgrades his estus and weapons
you didnt beat the game
We get it, you're mind broken because a random person on the internet made you feel insecure about using spirit summons. get over it.
We get it, you're mind broken because a random person on the internet made you feel insecure about beating a boss you almost starting crying on. get over it
>he
didnt beat the game
What enemies do i need to farm in the DLC for more +8 smithing stones?
i dont wanna go kill the foreskin duo
What's a good 150 STR/ARC build for this?
Been loving this baby in my run. The Staboom does so much damage and the hits be meaty.
Just finished fricking up that Death Rite Bird in the red place with it. Fricker drops like 450000 runes apparently? I guess this area is meant to be late in the DLC? It was annoying, but it wasn't like different from other Death Rite Birds I think.
>open one (1) elden ring vid
>youtube recs full of this cringe ass shit
>use recommendation software
>get recommendations
Anyone else feels like pic related with the souls community?
the algorithm is never wrong, anon
Daily reminder
If you ever summoned you didn't beat the game
You know it's true but feel free to cope
even the exploration is like a 'gotcha', like the 5 bug fricks placed behind a hill so you can't see them, and as soon as you ride by they all shotgun you at once (because they are programmed to spam pest threads non stop) and send you back to the grace 10 million miles away
How long does the deflect tear last? It seems really long.
Can the DLC items be spawned into the base game without DLC?
moron
Daily reminder if you use armor you didnt beat the game
Thoughts on the throwing weapons? Tried the knives out. Scales to S for dex but otherwise does okay damage, have it set to sacred rn for the B scaling in fth. Range is shorter than I expect and I swear the tarnished is constantly drunk since I've seen them miss shots on standing targets, really needs piercing throw to be a "ranged" weapon but other than lack of stagger its pretty good
>INT/FTH
won't use it
simple as
>challenge runs
which extra challenges are you guys adding for yourselves? for me it's:
>no spirit ashes
>no summons
>level 137 max
>no skibidis
>no ash of war
>no dual handing
>must use an int/fth build
>>must use an int/fth build
Oh yeah because 80 int/58 faith+ PoD Ancient Death Rancor spam is a challenge.
>RL70
>everything is allowed
>str/fth build
i beat the lion and i'm exploring around to find scadutree fragments while barely making it through every encounter. most of the time the summons die on a boss about halfway through the fight which means i just skip phase 1 essentially but then have to do their inevitable bullshit phase 2 solo. fun run so far. phase 1 is always easy and boring anyway.
Femboy dickshadow of the erdtree
I +10'd mimic so I could summon it on every single overworld dragon out of pure spite. Frick these japs for recycling like 6 of these stupid things when the base game already had way too many.
Anyway, taking this fricker out is my boss accomplishment of the night. I really like his melee combos (aside from his daggers which suffer from Margit syndrome) but his AoE spells are cancer as always. Still probably one of my favorite fights in the dlc so far.
>i used a mimic tear
didn't
beat
the
game
says "Great Enemy Felled"
gave me souls
I think I did beat it 🙂
>another dragon
not
a
real
boss
fight
you still didn't beat it you shitter
cope and seethe
cry harder Black person :^)
how do i get to that big ladder you can see from the shadow fort fourth floor grace
>platinumed the game
>+10 blasphemous blade and mimic tear every boss
cry harder kiddos
why isn't there an achivement for beating the game without using mimic tear or summons
why isn't there a one for beating it sl1 hitless in under 20 hours
same reason why there isn't one for beating it without a weapon, or being naked, or having +1 flask only
>why isn't there an achivement for beating the game without using mimic tear or summons
For the same reason there's no achivement for "beat the game without using a weapon"
Except none of those runs are even remotely close to as popular as no summons
>samegay
>can't even coherently state what the reason is
summoncucks have low iq exhibit 18237
>posts are under a minute apart
newbie
>22 seconds apart posts
>"s..s...s.s.s.s.s.s.SAMEgay"
go back newbie moron. You're as bad at posting as you are the game LOL!
I wish they would bring back the challenge rings from DS2
Anybody have any clue how to dodge radahns clone jutsu-shit?
>dodge
no but try blocking
i would kill the soldiers if it gave me souls but it doesnt even give you anything. so fricking stupid. the fricking F team made this
For every 1 sologay there are 20 summoncucks.
>muh solo
I can 100-0 you in stoicism
pve means nothing
the problem with this shit is that once I'm INSIDE the fight, their damage to each other should scale normally AND keep aggro neutral
how it is:
>they don't deal any damage to each other (to prevent afk rune farm...)
>they all immediately forget the DRAGON and chase me down
how it should be:
>all out chaos brawl where damage is dealt normally, if you can survive the chaos, it ends quickly
post yfw ANOTHER dead end with no items on it
there should at least be an achivement for beating the game without summons. you could call it "honorable victory"
>honor in a fricking videogame
Bro you arent a real knight
Exactly, I'm a samurai
>Starts with a huge ranged attack within 5 seconds of entering the arena
>Nonstop attack combo
>Little to no time to counterattack or punish
>Combo attack that might as well be Waterfowl Dance
Which Shadow of the Erdtree boss am I talking about?
Messmer, though only the first and last thing you said is true.
>Nonstop attack combo
>Little to no time to counterattack or punish
You losers have said this shit as far back as DS3, yet never once provided proof.
its literally true except parrying on that one ds3 guy
It's literally not, it's the same dumb shit monster hunter gays say and it's not true there either. Just learn the boss and your own moveset.
monster hunter is like 99999X harder to do
is this thing worth using? I kind of want to use it with the matching armor for the ultimate edgelord build.
>INT
frick ooooffffff sick of this split shit
the dlc is targeted at people who played the main game, not at sweaty discord duelists with meta level builds that have the minimal conceivable int and fth
>the dlc is targeted at people with reddit builds that evenly distribute into everything
That's actually wrong, it doesn't require INT, but it does do magic damage.
Pot bros are where it's at. All my homies hate perfumers. Where's the perfumer ash of war?
what the frick is up with the scalings on some of these weapons they fricking suck, i cant get a B B on faith and strength at +10?
Can i just wave of gold spam the entire dlc except the bosses?
Found that rock that let's me turn onto a dragon man but can't use it. Already beat Bayle too what am i missing?
you're wearing armor
I'm really struggling to get over the performance issues.
How much of the map can you explore prior to Lion/Rennala? Playing on NG+ but the framedrops on the Lion fight are killing my desire to go on so I wanna explore more map first.
I've done Cerulean Coast but not much else.
unironically how the frick do i beat Lennela
>try and hit her, get hit with an instant sword swing
>bait out an attack then try and hit her, get hit with another instant sword swing
>try to heal, get hit with instant magic projectile
>try to dodge, get hit since she swings both swords twice in 1 second
>heavy attacks dont cancel her animations
i cant do anything
Parry and Riposte. Or guard counter with a shield/deflect hardtear.
don't use a slow moron weapon on a fast boss. switch to one of your fast weapons. block when you aren't confident you can dodge.
isn't this just ordinary common sense? ho are people having trouble with it
you don't if you're using a slow weapon, you just gotta accept that you will trade. She has some attacks like the one where she summons 3 swords that launch towards you instantly and she follows up and then pauses. Or when she finishes her 7 hit combo or the magic projectile slice attack. But since she also has that unreactable upwards thrust attack for initiation when you're close you are pretty much guaranteed to get hit, so make sure you're trading to keep the stagger dmg going. It's better to get hit once during her combos if you can get one or two hits in than always wait for a safe opening while letting her regen the stagger dmg.
You can also parry or summon but imo that's just not engaging with the boss at all
what's the best option for lore in the leda questline? i want to fight her for dane's footwork but i also dont wanna miss out on ansbach's quest
>theres poor people without 7800X3D and 4090s in this thread right now at the moment thoughbeit
I just can't read Rellana's moves.
Sometimes she stops, sometimes she continues her combo over and over without any clue when.
Take the deflection tear pill with dragon bolt blessing and just play it like Sekiro. Use the dueling shield if you're still not able to do it.
Does anyone know what STR scaling the throwing hammer gets at Heavy +25?
Keep at it, you'll pick up on which animations come at the end of her strings. For example when she does that X-shaped slash with both swords, that's always the end of the string. Another is when she does two overhead slashes with both swords, that's the end of her string.
without spoilers... after messmer can you sprint to the final boss? can the DLC be completed that fast?
Nope, need to do one thing and then clear the way to the final boss after
>tfw a few Rellana moves can be dodged by jumping
unga bunga bros we are so back
all the summons i did just to fight godfrey again are paying off boys
jump souls dlc
rauh is the prettiest location fromsoft has ever made
>the fricking dump down the cliff with the giant red wienerroaches and poison swamp
>prettiest area
talking about the very top obviously, unfortunately its quite small
reminds me of laputa
is there any way to get up there from the bottom? i see a spirit spring but it seems broken
i have a note saying "break down the rocks" but if i hit them with my sword nothing happens, they look like ghost rocks
you must find the real rocks elsewhere, close by
it's basically one of the "rise" puzzles from the base game, explore a little around the immediate area
>is there any way to get up there from the bottom?
if you mean the very top, this is where you have to go
that area reminds me of nier automata but it was confusing to navigate
this except the shaman village and the area leading to it
Does the ghostflame dragons count as Those Who Live in Death?
>frenzy items require int
>sword of night requires int
>meteoric blade requires arc
>smithscript is inf/fth
puzzling state of affairs
no bro you don't get it having a focused build is cringe and you need to distribute into deadweight stats for 1 weapon
that way you only use that one weapon while hurting the entire rest of your arsenal's attributes
>sorc staff is int/fth for int skills
So when you enter the castle, the game mentions that a seal was broken.. I assume it's at the bottom of the mountain right in the south area with the pretty flowers? is there a boss there? I think I want to keep looking for more tree fragments.
It's an underground area with 1 (one) shitty boss fight at the end.
It's required for Thollier's questline, though don't worry since you won't miss it by doing other stuff first.
Burning the sealing tree is basically the deadline for all NPC quests, unless you don't give a shit about Thollier or his gear just make sure to do that area before burning the tree.
whhy does everything require faith. frick people who dont want to be moronic ass faith and magic users amirite?
>no defense incants
>no regen incants
>can't heal your buddy
faithlets are the most soulless creatures. no wonder you're struggling, it's karma for being a garbage person
literally yes. every single character of note in elden ring aside from godfrey is a spellcasting stat / physical stat hybrid.
Bros, am I cringe if I think... the golden hippo fight was great?
yeah one of the few non-epileptic bosses
It was annoying at first, but compared to the other bosses in the DLC he's very fair by comparison.
My problem with the hippo is the small arena. Otherwise he's whatever, not that hard, not very interesting either. Just a big-ass hippo that later gets reused as a basic enemy.
He's nothing special in sea of annoying bosses.
His arena could be bigger though.
The hippo, that centipede lady and frenzy dude are the only fun bossfights because they aren't incredibly spastic morons doing billion moves per second.
Methinks people doth b***h too much about Dancing Lion. Got a pretty clean second try kill with my DEX build using the Milady *tips wizard hat* and Wolf Shield
>he uses summons
>"challenge run"
>hes not wearing a wiener cage
>"challenge run"
That area with the black fingers was a complete waste of time, there is not even a single reused boss?
>he doesn't know
how many copy pasted dogshit Ghostflamer Dragons did they make for the DLC? are there ANY other world bosses?
>are there ANY other world bosses?
theres like 7 copy pasted giant fire guys that are aids
You get Red Bears (buffs the beast claws) and more types of Dragons 🙂
wait there is more than one red bear?
there's a... um... a deathbird... you know, from the base game...
Anon that's really unfair.
There's also one tree spirit world boss (lmao) and reused hippo as another world boss, what a variety!
I just ignore them,
there is also that one enemy that is like a giant tree snake, it's called tree spirit iirc.
Please tell me there is only one...
why the FRICK don't BOSSES give you tree fragments? this is basically what sekiro did, you couldn't miss the upgrade items.
runes are WORTHLESS in the dlc.
>burning the tree fricks up all NPC questlines
great game design
progressing always fails quests in these games
it's extremely obvious the fail point is burning the tree
So how are the new punching weapons? How are the beast claws? Are they good or just flashy and sorta gimmicky? How about the throwing knives and perfume bottles?
The martial arts one has a pretty unique moveset but I still need to upgrade it before I can give a verdict. Madness claw looks to be too gimmicky, I heard people say its good. Throwing knives are pretty fast, crap all for stagger though and its range is like 2.5-3.5 torrents long only, really needs piercing throw ash of war to actually be a decent ranged option but otherwise the damage is respectable and I think it can also headshot maybe. One good thing about the DLC is that a huge portion of the weapons including the martial arts, throwing knives and perfume bottles have customizable ash of wars so while they nominally scale off dex they're still usable for other builds.
Imagine getting filtered by two dudes cosplaying as a lion
>the boss was two Japanese business men all along
Huh, I assumed it would be some grafted horror bodymass underneath.
The lion head is very obviously fake considering you can see human limbs in the cutscene and the head itself is visibly animated by human arms holding it.
I really love the lion in terms of visual design due to that detail but I assumed it was multiple bodies grafted together larping underneath those robes and not literally just two dudes in a halloween costume lmao.
imagine being the guy at the back
I downloaded the update and it said it would mark new items and given them a separate tab, but I've checked a few times and it never shows. Am I doing something wrong? Does it only work for new characters?
You have to turn them on in the options menu.
Thanks Anon!
oh hey godwyn
yeah beating that boss and looking in the back took me by surprise too
all the death stuff not even being a sideline in the DLC is moronic
I saw this and had no idea what I was looking at. What am I missing here?
you never went into Stormveil's basement?
go to the grace right before his, take the right doorway to the Marika statue and use the O Mother gesture in front of it
That was supposed to be Godwyn too? I don't know how people figure this shit out without wiki articles. It has been a little over 2 years so maybe I'm just forgetting stuff.
ive been running around for hours and only got 2 dlc lvls. fricking awful design. refunded this shit and pirated it
I wish the DLC had achievements. I like From's trophy lists because they always serve as a guide to what bosses and special weapons I haven't seen yet. Otherwise I love the DLC so far.
>its all just bugs?
always has been.
Why do we let chinks participate in things like this when time after time they just prove themselves a hivemind
They gotta let out their pent up frustrations towards something that isn't the ccp.
Does minra have different dialogue if you have the frenzy flame in you?
No one? Frick it Im gonna go take the 3 fingers and try it since I know what he says without it
Yes no one. No one cares about your b***hmade questions.
Frick off.
No, I dont think I will, Black person.
>can't take good screenshots because i'm playing on steam 'eck
I've got a deck but have been playing on PC.
What are your settings/performance?
Would be nice to take on trips.
I'm playing on default high settings, 30 fps cap and FSR on. DLC areas are a lot more demanding and only in certain areas can I get close to 60 fps on high. I get 30-35 fps in most areas but in some boss fights I turn the settings down to low so things can stay smooth.
Battery gets eaten up though, haven't found a good setting yet to keep it on longer than 2 hours
Damn, I'm surprised most areas run smooth on high though.
Thanks, I'll be sure to use a power bank.
Decided to finally start the DLC. Got his ass after several attempts. No I don't feel bad for parrying him to death and using the AoW to close the gap before getting rekt by his stupid crossbow.
More like Commander Gayass am I right
>you can powerstance the perfumes
okay that's kind of cool I guess too bad there's no rot perfume
The attacks looks cool as frick powerstanced
haven't played since the game first launch, is powerstancing everything still the most viable thing to do? i miss when one handing straightswords and thrusting swords were good enough
You can still use a one hand sword, anon.
Yeah but when I did it it just felt really weak in my first run compared to the other games. Like it was clear to me that I wasn't meant to use 1h small weapons to do bosses and stuff really early on. Yeah I guess I gotta adapt with the time but I don't really care for powerstance stuff too much. It's cool but I liked 1h/2h small weapons more.
Just add a status like bleed to it or use one of the stronger straight swords, you'll do fine. The new dlc light Greatswords are good for that one hand style too, but really it's not that much weaker. I did the game with a straight sword personally and I'm not god player.
I've done that and it still doesn't feel that strong outside of warhawk talon. Though still it feels lame cuz I think straight swords have kind of been neglected moveset wise. That's why I like warhawk talon so much, the R2 is just right. The rest of them are really meh. Feels like a powercrept weapon type but I love 1h straight swords so much I can't fully enjoy the game any other way
I think you're just not using a lot of options or being too restrictive because
autism (like me), anon. Plenty of good 1h swords like Night & Flame for example.
whats the best starting class ? im completely and utterly new to souls games ?
Depends on what you're looking for. Wretch starts out at level one with even stat distributions so you can have a very customizable character. Samurai starts with the best starting weapon, katana but you can also get it pretty early if you know where to look. Knight for classic sword and bored and poise. Astrologer for pure magic and Prisoner for a hybrid physical and mag, confession for faith and physical
thank you, guessing ill go samurai or knight
None
it doesn't matter, it just changes how your stats start out and what gear you have
astrologer and prisoner start with magic, and vagabond and confessor both have a 100% physical block shield, samurai has a great weapon that you can carry until the end of the game (although any weapon can do that if you upgrade it)
I'd start with one of those 4 I guess
i think is the best starting class
how the frick do I get to the second fingers ruin? I can't find out how to access that landmass at all
did you do the commander gaius fight
yeah, but I didn't see how to access it from his arena
fragment upgrade issues aside (it worked way better in Sekiro, cause you'd gradually get stronger without overpowering any boss, and never felt severely underlevelled/weak) the bosses in general are way, way too aggressive. I'd love to see a boss like Abyss Watchers or Artorias, who don't spam a billion attacks per second but will punish if you play badly. Still, they are fair. You aren't rolling 20 times before getting a chance to get one R1 in.
This shit here, is no fun.
They feel specifically made to punish people who panic roll, which is a good thing.
but you still have to roll 50 times before it's your turn.
Not really
Problem is they allow for player powercreep via the open world design and all of the OP shit you get in this game, so people who just wanna play a normal-ass melee build get fricked. You're expected to utilize some powerful mechanic to win (stagger, bleed/frost, magic, summons, etc.) rather than just brute forcing with a sword and a shield.
People have been coping with this talking point since DS3. At this point bosses have like three combos that look identical and all rollcatch at different points so you're nearly guaranteed to eat shit unless you spend hours memorizing every frame of their moveset.
if bosses were like ds3 (less meth addicted) I wouldnt need a mimic.
beside the moron check at the end, i dont think the boss is unreasonable. compare that to mogh who you have to do at very low lvl, with shit summons etc
by now you should really have learned to use your entire arsenal and she doesnt really stand a chance.
60vig and +3 magic defense talisman should not get 80% of my bar removed with 1 magic hit.
i had 2k hp and i fricked up the balls only dodged one but still lived, i was far as frick though it was nuking my mimic kek
What the bloody frick is that damage? Is Fromsoft INSANE?
Man, Commander Gaius' sword is disappointing.
The deflecting hardtear is fricking game changing, oh my God this is fun.
Yeah, I don't get why people b***h about rolling when the dlc gives you a prefect parry and even before that shields are a thing.
probably because it's dropped by a gigahomie that takes a year to kill and people assume he's not supposed to be fought yet
i havent rolled outside of when im stunned and need to get back up since das3. the order of business is usually blocking and then doing the counter attack thingy. i have a moronic amount of stamina and stability on my build.
trannies getting filtered by bosses and pretending it’s because they’re too spastic is so fricking hilarious
You will never be a woman, sorry.
keep crying shitter troony
would you summon me?
>70 dex
>70 in any stat
No
People play at 150 or 170?
what's the reward for killing the big flaming basket guys? i'm sure i can kill one but i don't want to spend 10 minutes whittling him down if the reward is just runes and crafting material
They have different drops. Some of it is really good and some of it is useless/niche.
Flask upgrades. One gives you infinite stamina for a bit.
only the very first one is worth killing, it will allow you to play the game like sekiro
>put summon sign
>get summoned within 2 seconds anywhere
This is actually impressive, From.
Finding skibiditree sharts is boring and I decided to just get gud and kill Messmer right after Rellana. Really hope they abandon the open world aspect next game.
How many tree upgrades should I be at for the first boss? I don't want to be too strong
Have backhand blades been deemed "dishonorable" yet?
Scadutree Chalice looks waaaay too important to have no use
Your honest opinion regarding exploration and the new map?
Post it
NOW
It's fantastic. Shocking how many layers there are in there.
>new map
Really good looking, but feels pointless to engage with a lot of it.
>exploration
Really good, but the map is too big.
The map is useless and it's near impossible to keep track of where you've been and where you haven't.
I love that we have a big and complex map to explore but the problem is that we weren't given the tools to do so properly.
Pretty sure a tales off game on the wii let you scale the map to show differing levels of elevation. This game has no excuse
Vistas are nice, good variety in color palettes, the usual stuff From does right is still here. The verticality is the big change and I think it's a doubled edged sword. It definitely makes the scope of the dlc feel absolutely massive, but it also makes the map kinda hard to follow (it's borderline useless at this point for me, I've found like 3 different elevations for almost every part of the map and I can't remember what elevation my grace points/icon seven refer to) and a lot of areas feel unintuitive to scale up or down because the open ended nature of the map frequently fails or neglects to point you in the direction of where to find some rocks to climb, or a doorway somewhere, or a lift.
im vibing. i skipped most of the open world stuff in ER but now im looking under every rock for attack skibidi and spirit skibids
Really fricking good map. Great new enemies, interesting weapons and items.
Absolutely horrible bosses.
As usual, I love almost everything about it.
I do like the verticalness of it, but the actual map itself is too fricking hard to read because there's so many layers to it
>host dies before i even enter the boss arena
impressive
Do scadutree upgrades function like weapon upgrades when it comes to being summoned or does it just reduce your upgrades to the current host?
>hit wicker man like 500 times
>falls to the ground
>critical spot is unreachable because of the shitty terrain in the area
where do you find the talisman that auto generate fp?
The church. Go from the three point crossroads under the huge arch toward the castle but turn left, there's a ledge you can climb. Follow the path allll the way down and around to the church.
Also a really cool armor is there.
i see, thanks!
Is it me or the map is kinda useless due to all the verticallity on it?
the elevation is defined enough to be able to tell when a path is going under something, or if there's a ledge leading up like the one that goes toward the bloodfiend village in the first area
haven't gotten all map pieces yet so I dunno how much that holds up
I'm like 8 zones into the DLC, thought I looked around adequately, watched a streamer in the starting area and already saw about 5 different weapons/armor/areas that I didn't see
I'm gonna backtrack every area now just out of fear
These are the weapons I found so far, also found a big hammer the black knights have some random glint swords but they don’t have any new move sets
Never played any "souls" games except sekiro, just finished ER including DLC with ng+.
I'm laughing my ass off at all the cucks crying about it being hard, the DLC was pretty fair, highest amount of retries I had was 3 on any boss, being that butthole Black persondragon everyone knows by now. Frick the camera.
The game is obviously designed around the player using the tools this >RPG< gives them, such as items, summons, ashes of war and such and yet you have these "hardcore" homosexuals not using it because it's cheating or something, guess something has to keep up the facade of the game being mega hard for hardcore gamers only. I bet the developers are laughing their asses of at people with masochistic tendencies.
Even without items and such you can clear the game without any effort by using guard properly, magic builds or some forms of STR builds nuking bosses lol.
Is the "souls" community really this moronic? Rather than having fun with all the tools and coming up with crazy shit to kill bosses they only resort to dodgeroll, one attack, dodge the anime cutscene boss attacks again?
Watching streamers die to the same boss over 2hours because they just refuse to learn the game and use the tools you are given is hilarious.
>reddit spacing

>falling for newbie bait
NGMI
2bh I only do it during my first run.
But that's because I've been always a fan of dungeon crawling and I always played the warrior class, there are not that many games that let me experience this.
If it's fun then go for it, I specifically called out those who complain about difficulty and refuse to play the game.
Like you can easily clear the game weaponless and use a mass summon and do other funky shit with swapping to a staff for spell setups mid fight and stuff.
Streamers are stuck between a rock and a hard place because they can't use ezmode shit like summons without their communities mocking them, but they have to soldier through the game so they can farm engagement and stay relevant. Modern day dancing monkeys.
Every functional build is ez mode, everything that does not make it ez mode is garbage. What form of logic is that even.
Is there a way up to the golem archer in Rauh? Ran around for at least half an hour, couldn't find it
it's another case of finding the obscure ledge to drop down from
Frick me
From upper or lower Rauh?
I believe it's just past the fire golem that shoots at you as you cross the bridge
The slipstream doesn't lead to the golem unless there is a second one I don't know about
Okay I'll try that after I'm done exploring a bit in Messmer's castle, thanks
stuck at miqella anything else to do?
Not sure what you mean
here's an exact spot if you have more trouble
Thanks bros, there is honestly no way I would have ever spotted this otherwise. Hate how much this drop down shit has come up in the DLC, done this like 4 times now
Finally beat Rellana, I gotta be honest, she wasn't as obviously bullshit as Malenia but I think the sword combo is too damn far, after 4 hours I still don't understand how to dodge them other than running away. I'm using summons on my next run, frick this boss.
>bosses give runes
>runes dont make you stronger
>only the tree fragments do
this is SHIT game design. make the bosses drop like 6 fragments then.
But Runes do make you stronger?
oh? then why can I level vigor to 70 from 60 yet my armor feels like paper?
How should I know what's wrong with your build if you don't post it? Maybe you don't have enough Scadus or your armour sucks.
my point is bosses should give fragments, not runes, as that's the only way to get notable power in the DLC area.
>host doesn't skip cutscene
>mfw the fricking Divine Lion Part 2 in Rauh
tfw seeing the signs people leave about cheesing him by shooting at him from the area you drop down from
I like the idea of an /Honor/ Thread OP. Still haven't touched any spirit ashes.
Dont want spoilers but is the death knight armor in the same place as the death knight twin axes?
I'd like to go get that armor set after I fricking beat this boss
No. I encountered 2 death knight bosses and I don't have any of their armor yet.
No, it's in a different dungeon.
It's on a hidden path in the dungeon where you need to turn on the lights to progress.
not him, but I'm in there right now
gonna be good with my dragon cragblade/katana/axe
you'll never beat that boss
Oh frick. Bros, which do I do?
Leda sounds cute but she's clearly going a bit crazy. Hornsent seems more like a bro.
I assume they'll both die eventually no matter who I pick, right?
>Look up the questlines for both of them
>Apparently you can skip this fight entirely and both questlines will progress as normal
>YOu fight them both later and get their shit anyways
Huh. Guess they can just duke it out till they both give up. I wanna see them to their proper ends.
How to get the map in the dragon zone ? I'm actually struggling against the boss but I didnt found the map yet. How to get it ?
from the first dragon fight after the dragon man, head south into a new zone, its in there
thanks you
>The sekiro block should have been a talisman
yay or nay?
It should have been part of the base player toolkit. Fromsoft is clearly letting Sekiro influence their Elden Ring boss design and gameplay loop, so just take more of the mechanics from Sekiro as well. Also let players see the boss's fricking posture bar already.
are perfumer bottles gud?
They stagger real good
Damage is shit though and you can't crit with them
>they all scale with dex
>you don't understand you need REAL strength to throw powder
the scaling is shit
The smithing stone isn't worth this bullshit.
Any advice on Rellana? I really am not sure how to roll against her since even side ones keep getting caught by one of her second swords, and even approaching her without waiting for her to attack feels like it's just a guaranteed punish. Second phase especially I really feel helpless with how to avoid her combos.
I can't seem to see any melee openings for Rellana. What should I be looking for?
Big stick and heavy armor to poise through her bullshit
The fight seems like a dance similar to Pontiff so I don't want to brute force it.
I believe when she winds up for the side swimg, you can jump attacl her for free and dodge two hits. When she starts doing the spin attack, just run the hell away.
Are you talking about the vertical adula blade and wide swing? I usually run away. Forgot I could jump it actually.
You can poke after most combos. Stop rolling backwards.
Boss runs are hardcore. I reach the fog gate with no more flasks. Makes you thankful for Marika statues.
I like this system better than the unlockable door near the entrance.
mfw remembering most of dark souls 2 run back to the boss
is this the mini fricker?
i was expecting some ball busting boss since its such a ball busting run to get there if you die but its a mist noble -tier meme boss
>that run back to the putrescent knight
miyazaki...
What run? It's 20 feet to the ledge.
it's not that bad, it's just weird when the entire dlc has statues outside of fog doors except for one boss
How much shorter do you want it to be? It's literally right in front of the ledge. Did you miss a grace?
>tips
Based on the Steam reviews having the same tooltip about fragments pop up twice wasn't enough for these morons
"we want you guys to know you suck"
>rob and hom
cringy ass homosexual
Such a small group of people hold the fate of Fromsoft in their hands...
What differences are there for giving different people different irises of grace and occult?
I got the ashes of the bodygaurd for Ymir for the grace
Grace gives you them as a spirit ash and occult gives you their weapon
gold gives a spirit ash, black gives a weapon
any cool weapon to keep an eye for?
I only found queef so far, it doesn't have his flame thrust, that's a separate AoW
>Gives you the best defensive item at the start
your welcome
>Lasts only a few minutes.
should have been a talisman tbh.
No, frick that, should be a main ass game mechanic.
so you just spam the block button when a boss attacks? is there no cooldown to it?
>spam
If you mistime it, you are either eating the damage or your stamina will be tanked. Kinda like how parry fishing has you blocking some of the hits.
if you 2H a weapon, do you still take damage? does it also block elemental damage?
Nope, if you 2H a weapon and block on the right timing it negates it. So only if you frick up the timing will you eat damage. Does not do shit for elemental damage I think, you can't spellblock with it.
>you can't spellblock with it.
you can
>tricks you into fighting the other wickerman expecting interesting rewards
its only on physick? meh. i spam guard counters full time already but the game's almost a bit too easy as it is.
it lasts 5 minutes, enough for any boss if you are not doing a sl1 run or something
>temporary flask item
>not a talisman
lame and almost useless
>funko pop head gives 4 str 4 dex
Get in the van, Ganker. I have something nice for you.
Every time I try a new weapon it's worse than bloodhound's fang and I have to return to my safety blanket. Any recommendations for DEX/STR?
I beat every remembrance other than the final one and this leda fight is awful. I only did one side quest so I'm just fricked in this stupid fight against tanky npcs that 2 shot me at lvl15 scadu.
what do i do with the scroll that reveals some gate's hidden mechanism?
is there a way to enter the shadow keep from the east? i'm at a conspicuous looking wall outside of it near the bug dude and a message says to gesture but i've tried a few and starting to feel like i got trolled
did you miss the giant tunnel right before?
I used an overtuned bleed weapon to beat Radahn, but I didn't use summons. That is a win in my book. Technically it was a 1v2 because of backpack boy so I am in the right to use a bleed weapon
What's the best base game staff?
depends
Regal scepter if you hit the final soft cap of 80 int
Lusat is a noob trap
From is really pushing the limits as to what they can expect from the average player as far as boss moveset goes.
That is why they have spirit ashes, which is a poor choice too. If you expect everyone to use them, it'll be tough to balance for people not using them
HOWEVER, the average player apparently isn't even beating Mohg with those trophy and steam achievement numbers so its hard to tell. The people playing the DLC are the people who cared enough to finish the game and do the hard content.
More like they overestimated the average player. I don't even want to say in ability because 90% of the people complaining could win if they actually tried, overestimated their character I guess.
>90% of the people complaining could win if they actually tried,
But it wouldn't be fun, and it would take way too long to perfectly memorize the boss's entire moveset and ALSO never frick up, ever.
im used to games in the series, these bosses are not fun. a good dark souls boss is like a dance, this is just bullet hell with swords or spears.
FRICK the HIPPO
How many larval tears are in the dlc?
I'm gonna run out at this rate.
Does anyone have the webm of that guy who keeps getting owned by the alabaster lord in Raya Lucaria? I thought I had it saved, but I can't find it and it's still one of the funniest things I've seen in the game. He gets slam dunked off a bridge. Thank you.
Call me a gay all you want but summoning Igon makes the Bayle fight so much more kino.
Yeah I can't imagine doing the fight without him screaming in the background
Also, that fight has serious issues and is kind of shit outside the spectacle so who cares if you cheese it
uhh, I changed to bleed and bosses that took 4 mins now take 2 mins, lol?
I get to the second phase of the last boss and instantly drop to 15fps. This is truly a bloodborne inspired DLC.
