See that huge castle? You can actually explore and it's a huge ass area.
Why are so many morons getting filtered by the DLC? It's pure ludokino.
See that huge castle? You can actually explore and it's a huge ass area.
Why are so many morons getting filtered by the DLC? It's pure ludokino.
That huge castle is also the only area in the DLC where there's shit that feels rewarding to explore
Everywhere else is
>Smithing stone +2
Why are you lying?
>Find a random dungeon
>It's oozing with lava
>Get to the end
Find a giant ore greatsword that fires miniature lightning explosions at its tip
Nah it's good
Yeah that sword and is fricking useless compared to the other 3 that already dominate the meta. No-talent Hack-fraud bullshit.
why do you choose to just lie. I understand being anonymous on the internet allows that easier, but most people are out of this edgy phase
sometimes I get smithing stones +1...
what the frick miyazaki
>le from soft game is le....hard
That's it. Their souls game and souls like have become too mainstream and people are eating it up with glee to go back only to be reminded they suck at games..
>I don't want to fight this one boss over and over 20-30 times just to have a chance of knowing how to win
Git gud
Who are you quoting?
The thing is, all Souls games are like this and always have been.
The games allow you to access areas that you're likely not ready for and fight bosses that stomp on your face. There are people who are amazing at these games who can go through these encounters without dying or even getting hit because they have somehow mastered the mechanics.
I am not one of these people, I have to grind xp and use every available means at my disposal to get through the games.
There are a third kind of people who get killed a few times and just give up and claim that the games are shitty.
We should genocide those people, unironically.
good post
i leveled to 165 to use the new incantation did i frick up for online
maybe i should go back to a lvl 150 save i have from yesterday
no moron, lvl 150 is literally the baseline for the DLC and coo-opers aren't gonna stop leveling up (espeically when the DLC fricking shits out runes everywhere)
Everyone who started at 150 will be around 190 - 200 when they're done
>NOOO IT'S "ONLY" 80% OF THE ORIGINAL PLAYERBASE WHICH IS A FRICKING INSANE NUMBER FOR A TWO YEAR OLD DLC NOOOOOOOOO FROMSOFT IS DEAD HOW DARE ELDEN RING ONLY HIT 700K PLAYERS
The 24 hour high changed to 780,156, about a thousand less than yesterday. It's over.
tedndieslop could never
I started at 150, ended at 165. Why are you lying?
Did you skip 90% of enemies? I only have 2 rememberance bosses down and im level 171, started at 150
NTA, he's lying. i Started at 160, ended at 185. Didn't grind or use items to increase rune gain.
Do they pay you? lmfao
>Everyone who started at 150 will be around 190 - 200 when they're done
cope shitter, there's no reason to level beyond 150
>lvl 150 is literally the baseline for the DLC
Ah cool, still have 40 Lvs to go. And here i was wondering what to do with all this rune
Over 150 it's just pointless to level up at all. what the frick do you need those 6 ar more for? It's just pointless rune dumping as placebo effect for NG+ cycles
being able to use incantations that require 52 faith and also use weapons that ask 40 dex and having 60 vigor so i dont die and some endurance and mind so i can do stuff and cast stuff aaaand 17 arcane for incantation requirements and...
>I want to do everything on one character
not a real build
I started the DLC at 209 and I've never once struggled to get summoned. I've spent the last 2 hours just kicking Renalla's ass on repeat. The "Stay at 150!" shit was a meme and probably the main source or crybabies.
I'm in love bros
real kino
do not sex the scudatree
80% of complaints are shazam discord trannies who haven't even played, as the days go on you'll see more positive things said about it as anons who've actually played start posting.
I don't think it will top Saturday's high. The end is nigh.
It's impressive how many people actually buy this shit because they were told to.
Amazing.
Are reviewers just worried about pissing fanboys? some of these reviews are straight up misleading
Reviewers were given saves by the publisher that's why their reviews are so fake and gay. They didn't have to play the game.
Imagine each reviewer gets access to From's elite summon task force who play during the embargo period to help IGN along
You do realize that a DLC is always, by definition, gonna have the same (extremely improbable) or less players than the base game, right?
I know. I was just kidding. I think I read somewhere getting 30% of the base is considered remarkable. Erdtree's numbers are historic.
Will Palworld ever be dethroned?
mental illness
Belurat and Enir-Ilim are Lothric Castle but actually fully developed
You first go through the lower part, then at the end of the game you unlock access to the top
holy frick that is some moronic architecture
and people made fun of iron keep for being on top of a windmill
see everything apart from the castle? youll spend hours travelling through it and find nothing
I've found plenty of things in tiny little ass end of nowhere corners of the map. Not in EVERY corner but in plenty. Like just recently I found a tiny nook in an offshoot unimportant looking side path that had the ash of war that lets you copy Rellanas two hit carian great sword combo.
Well the remembrance weapon of St Trina's simp has a unique R2 (which is really all that most things get). The early big holy hammer has a unique guard counter of all things. You can throw the Smithscript Great hammer. I guess Great Katanas are a completely new moveset.
Please tell me more about where you found this ash
>quality
FRICK FRICK FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK I WAS THIS FRICKING CLOSE TO HAVING MY NEW MAIN WEAPON WHY DID IT FRICKING HAVE TO BE QUALITY AND NOT FRICKING DEX ARRGHHHH
it's a dex weapon, 2 hand it dumbass
90% of the DLC is quality, other 10% is faith. Kind of fricking stupid to forget quality and then make a whole DLC dedicated to quality.
there's a quality infusion, why would it even matter what the base scaling is
because quality infusion is generally worse than being str or dex focused. a few weapons get a few extra points of damage but with the cost of requiring like 40 levels to an extra damage stat. If you're max level not focused on pvp it's fine but it feels very lazy.
>dragon communion based lore
>doesn't scale with arc
Yes I'm mad.
How the frick is this quality you stupid Black folk? You can 2 hand it with 10 Strenght and scales equally from either stats
All Dragon weapons in the base game scale with physical syats. Arcane is for obtaining Dragon powers
>scales equally from either stats
that's the defining characteristic of a quality weapon anon, requirements are secondary to scaling
>How the frick is this quality you stupid Black folk?
>scales equally from either stats
What do you think quality means?
moron
equally shit scaling
>more dex bleed weapons
You're a humongous homosexual
This weapon's AoW with Godfrey Icon and Shard of Alexander is actually crazy. The only problem is aiming it properly since locking on tends to frick up the direction unless the enemy is right in front of you.
Speaking of, shout out to the guy voicing that dead guy on the road before you enter the dragon area. That guy deserves a medal.
Also FRICK Ancient Dragon Man! On top of being a b***h to fight, he got the Secret Agent Man song stuck in my head.
>No Arc Scaling
Why does From hates Dragon builds?
just do 50 str 50 dex
>bro just level up to lvl 300 to make use of the weapon
moron
Is there a single large weapon in the DLC that has a unique moveset? Why the hell does every other weapon type seem to get something that actually feels new?
Well yeah, exploration and eye candy are generally regarded as the highest points of ER. It's not surprising the DLC would continue to do that well.
But ER is obviously more than just a walking simulator. And all of that "more" is pretty bad.
I started the dlc at 110, it seems fine tho
I am having a good time. I just explore the wonderful world and take pictures like I am on holidays.
For the bosses I bring Mimic or my wife Tiche and don't take it all too serious
Visually and artistically it's some of their best stuff yet, I agree. Boss design is just getting tedious though and the performance issues are horrific.
Anyone find any more microcosm spells or is there just one?
I'm bored of the game and can't even be bothered to do the DLC now.
I fricked up by exploring that castle. I got to Radahn and half my map is still missing graces. I still don't even have the fricking map to that one place. WHERE IS THE FRICKING MAP
The map gathering spots are marked on the undiscovered map parts
I know, but I have no clue how to get to it. At least I'm not the only one because there were tons of "still no map..." messages.
Its not intuitive at all. You have to go through a tunnel north of where the Dryleaf guy stands. Its the lake on the map.
I kinda like it actually, like half of the map is useless because of how many tunnels there are everywhere. Fricking Miyazaki you troll.
If it's the place I'm thinking of, you need to actually do a dungeon for it, uniquely. But it's hard to miss if you've been so I'm assuming you never even figured out how to get to it lol.
I'm at the point I'm going to tear out of faith. I'm done bros. What should I respec into for maximum DLC weapon kino? I've gotten the big knight hammer, anvil, script dagger, backhand swords, and messmer axe. What's the play here?
Why are you as a man asking other people what to do
You know how these games are. Bury the kino in piles of shit. I am just looking for a heads up since I haven't done the godskin duo on my DLC character and don't have unlimited smithing stones yet. Can't be bothered doing fire giant and farum azula again right now.
I guess I'll give it a shot.
Still Faith, infuse the big hammer with sacred, give it Sacred Blade, optionally get a big shield for the cool unique guard counter. Holy damage is finally not a joke anymore and you're quitting faith? Pathetic.
>Holy damage is finally not a joke anymore
>multiple of the best weapons in the gsme do holy damage
>holy melts nearly everything in the entire game up until literally the final 5% of it
>a joke
Rot is still completely broken in the DLC
Ancient Dragon Lightning Spear or Burn O Flame destroy every large enemy
Pest Threads shreds anything resistant to the three and still destroys dodge rolling invaders
Can't wait. Will be done prepping my character sometime next week so I can finally get into the dlc.
Anon most of the enemies in the dlc are scared civilians……
It is a really great dlc but the loot distribution is ass. Visually it's more impressive than the base game though, I love during sunset when the sky goes blood red behind the tree
>exploring some underground river
>find a crawfish with red eyes and a spear on the end of his pincers
>crazy fight, very aggressive
>huh I wonder what I’m going to get for killing him this is so exciting
>somber smithing stone [3]
Wow… great… literally all I want is another dex weapon that will last me in the dlc…
There's like 3 amazing dex weapons in the first half hour of the game not locked behind bosses what are you talking about
Anyone find any good arc weapons?
I doubt... you could even imagine it.
>See a bunch of Skeletons guarding a corpse, kill them and find a Poisonbloom in that corpse.
That which commanded the stars.
>See a bunch of Poison Mushrooms guarding a corpse, kill them and find an Arteria Leaf in that corpse.
Giving life... its fullest brilliance.
>See a bunch of Wolves guarding two corpses, kill them and find a Glowstone and a Golden Rune (1) in those corpses.
THE ELDEN RING!!!
>See a bunch of Bats guarding a corpse, kill them and find a Golden Rune (1) in that corpse. Exact same thing happens less than 5 minutes later.
OOOOOHHHHH, ELDEN RING!!!
>See a bunch of Highwaymen guarding a chest, kill them and find 5 Mushrooms in that chest.
Shattered...
>See a bunch of Demi-Humans guarding two corpses, kill them and find 3 Ruin Fragments and a Large Club in those corpses.
By someone...
>See a Giant Miranda Flower and a bunch of small Miranda Flowers guarding two corpses, kill them and find an Immunizing Cured Meat and a Golden Rune (2) in those corpses.
Or something...
>See a bunch of Demi-Humans guarding a corpse, kill them and find a Hefty Beast Bone in that corpse.
Don't tell me... you don't see it...
>See a bunch of Demi-Humans guarding a corpse, kill them and find Crab Eggs in that corpse.
LOOK UP AT THE SKY!
>See a Big Land Octopus and a bunch of small Land Octopuses guarding a corpse, kill them and find a Golden Rune (1) in that corpse.
It burns...
LOATHSOME DUNG-EATHER!
Get what you deserve for playing roly-poly slop 7
>What's that? You didn't gather 300 skibidi toilet fragments?
>Well, enjoy normal mobs taking off 50% of your health in a single swing at 60 Vig then
>NOOO IT'S NOT FAIR, I'M SUPPOSED TO BE OVERLEVELED FOR THIS NEW AREA AAAAAA
You mean I have to engage with the DLC's main leveling mechanic? WHAT THE FRICK
>You mean I have to run around an empty open world looking for skadushekkels?
oh no, you have to play the game
the horror
Is it really playing the game? Or is it watching your horse run around for 2 hours until you find the next skadu area? Oh how about we delve into a nearby dungeon so I can loot some smithing stone 4s and get a weapon that I won't use?
>more complaints about literally playing the game
maybe movies are more your thing? you clearly shouldn't be playing these games
I know that critical thinking is a bit hard for the two neurons you have left. But have you considered that maybe the issue isn't the blessings themselves, but more the fact that implementation and the distribution of them is fricked?
5% more damage and mitigation per level leads to huge swings in player power, and there is very little consistency on where exactly the fragments are located. Some of them are at the crosses, but not every cross has a fragment, some of them are from bosses, but not every boss drops them, sometimes you just find them on random fricking corpses in the field. Its a crapshoot compared to the process of collecting golden seeds and sacred tears in the vanilla game, where they were very consistent on where to find both. This is before you consider how playing the DLC the way it is intended just ends up causing huge swings in power where you go from getting curbstomped to curbstomping the target after a couple blessing upgrades and because the DLC is infested with the same fricking mobs everywhere its difficult to gauge at a glance if bone dragon #4 is going to tail swipe you for 75% of your 60 vigor HP or deal maybe 30% like the last 3 bone dragons you killed earlier.
If they had at least made it where every landmark is guaranteed to have at least 1 fragment or spirit ash and the map was tuned around particular blessing levels like how the base game's map was you could at least have a much more straight forward line of progression where it's more actively encouraged to explore the optional areas while also making those areas more universally rewarding for players regardless of build.
>5 percent mitigation per level
Did you pull that out of your ass? There are 20 levels so I know you aren't getting 0 damage taken when you max it out
...What?
You said 5 percent damage mitigation per scooby blessing level and there are 20 potential levels in the dlc, so 20x5 is 100 percent damage negation?
Yeah the scaling must not be linear
It's multiplicative bonus to your base stats dumbass. You're not getting 100% damage resistance, but you do get a 100% bonus to your base damage resistance at blessing level 20. That is a huge swing.
Because Ganker is full of fricking casuals now. I saw people on here whining about the fricking Death Knight for godsake and hes piss easy.
They all need to frick off back to their gatcha shit.
DLC literally removed the need for dodge lmao
Rollsissies coping hard
how?
I'm not a hater, but I fought this same dragon that I had to aim at its legs for legit 20 times now.
What the actual frick were they thinking?
Do I need to wrap anything up NPCwise before taking out Mesmer? The old Dynasty coot is on the first, floor, and the Redmane lady is on the seventh floor and I don't know if I need to jump through some sort of hoops to move them forward.
You can talk to sir absnac or whatever after talking to the redmane lady.
get the secret rite to give to anchsbach
So what's next? I found St. Trina and this guy just sits there.
Drink some nectar
I did. I died, he gets a new dialogue of him complaining St. Trina isn't talking to him. I drank more nectar and nothing happens.
Keep drinking, maybe one of those potions helps but I'm not sure
Ah, okay. It finally happened. Gonna go back down and see if the dude is mad at me.
Keep drinking, you'll know when you're done when dialogue after death repeats Then you gotta go do what was asked of you
Okay, so what /exactly/ is St. Trina?
I did it thrice with St. Trina telling me to kill Miquella, but nothing happens.
It's Miquella's excised compassion given a physical form.
>another generic doll-like female character hanging out
>AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH Black personMAN
shit in my mouth miyazaki
Either this is a bugged quest or his quest ends here. I haven't progress much on the main quest because I decided to explore the available areas first and did this guy's quest by complete chance.
most npc quests have a progression flag tied to a major plot point, come back later
get the gesture from the shaman village and use it on the statue in front of the boar guy's arena
I don't know what or where the shaman village is. The North-west is still unexplored and a stretch of land from the middle to the east is still obscured to me
Nevermind, I used the gestures I had gotten thus far and figured it out. Thanks!
Yeah you're done for now. Is the poison guy just suck going "Ah" too? If so go beat the game and come back. He's unlocked for summoning against the final bosses now
>Is the poison guy just suck going "Ah" too?
Yeah, he keeps repeating it. I'll take note and revisit him when I beat the game, then.
The entire dlc quest is moronic
It would have been somehow better if they just played it straight to theorygay expectations and make us fight zombie godwyn alongside gary stu twink boy than whatever the frick this shit is
There is no interest, intrigue or motivation
Everything is the blandest it could have possibly been
Nobody asked for this
This appeals to no one
>find my first poison swamp of the DLC
>there's an Ulcerated Tree Spirit fight that comes out of nowhere
>it's only guarding a somber smiting stone 4
they are NOT beating the copy/paste allegations with this one
git gud
I kind of got the impression that was actually supposed to be a joke, I don't think there are any other ulcerated tree spirits in the dlc
There were at least 3 so far.
I've seen at least 2
There's one more in the river under Ellac Greatbridge. And two more in the flooded area under Shadow Keep.
You mean the one in Belurat? It drops a talisman if you beat it
What's going to happen next? Is it over? I talked to St. Trina until her message loops and after that, this guy isn't dead.
How's my drip?
What the frick incantations does the bear pelt even buff?
gay/10
>mana regen talisman
holy FRICK it's about time
I don't consider smashing my head against a boss for nine hours to be fun.
I have hundreds of other games to play and enjoy.
>filtered by the DLC? It's pure ludokino.
because it's shit just like the game you moron
filtered
If I do the Three Fingers ending in the main game, will that impact my ability to play the DLC?
nothing in the base game affects the DLC and vice-versa
Is the boss in belurat impossible?
Can someone help me?
I've just burned the sealing tree. How do I get to the top right of the map? With the finger shrine Ymir sent me to
What is the fricking point of this place? Did I miss something or is it genuinely just a dead end with nothing there?
it's tied to a quest, it'll be very obvious when you get it
What are the best levels for PvP?
got any more pixels?
yes
wat
Is that the Miquella nuke that he uses in Radahn 2nd fight?
Yes, you can get the spell from their remembrance after you kill the boss. Even without cheats it does an insane amount of damage and can oneshot people.
well that's getting nerfed into non existence next patch.
holy frick I can't believe you get that as a spell
really need to find people using this to invade, must be great
I can hear your fans going full speed
The human eye can't see more then 24 fps
kino
sucks i dont have money
How can i explore the rest of the DLC if i cant even beat Blackgaol Knight and the talon invader in the beginning
You can progress without fighting them.
I feel obligated to since hes killed me so many times
I have a great build but he deletes all my stamina and then can OHKO my 50 vigor
Is the rest of the dlc like this? Because whats the point if i cant get better with the stupid level scaling
The DLC gets significantly tougher, yes. Just use those blessings to make things more manageable.
Get scadu fragments. Jumping attack to stagger if you have a smaller weapon, or else you end up trading to death.
I got Scadu blessing 10 before fighting Rellana just by walking around
>night comes in
>wait wtf why does it look so different
>look around
>glowing blue tombstones that gives you a larval tear
That was pretty cool.
>Get to Romina
>unironically most fun and fair and designed boss in the entire DLC, top tier
>love her so much, i craft her weapon
>it fricking SUCKS DICK
why does this game make me suffer?
That's the biggest problem with every fromsoft game since DS2.
Pretty much every weapon/spell you find is fricking worthless compared to a select few obscenely overpowered finds. Attempting to use anything else results in grueling drawn-out combat where you never seem to do enough damage to feel anything but weak and pathetic.
The worst part is the spells that cost godly amounts of FP and have high FTH/INT reqs but are also garbage.
Like all the slowass shit they always bother implementing while forgetting the bosses are shounen anime tier of speed now
Am I moronic and blind or are there a ton of areas like this one that just don't have anything going on in them?
it has the shrimp tho
Shrimp are at the pond north of this one
There really isn't anything in that one either
So is it worth buying yet or is it still bad?
It's worth it if you loved the base game and want more of it. Otherwise wait for a discount or whatever if you're not in a hurry to play it
>Renalla
WHEN IS IT MY TURN?????
Just ignore the easy mode beggars
whats the ideal level to coop
I beat Bayle, but I summoned Igon because he asked me to.
He made the fight super frickin cool but I think he might have made it too easy.
But he screams his ass off and its kino. Feels like summoning Sif, where it makes Manus easier but its so cool story-wise that I always do it anyways.
>Hit yes to summon him
>Before he even spawns in
>BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYLE
I think the fight is kind of ass but that made me smile every time
Remind me again why Snoys are allowed to shit up the board shilling the same fromslop for literally 2 years?
anyone else not being fan of the verticallity of the map? keeping track of things with this shitty map can be confusing.
Oh no, just how did you manage to do stuff in the other souls games with no map at all, poor thing?
it's great, feels like an actual souls game
I literally don't know where to go
praise message,
and then hidden passage ahead
whats the ideal level to coo p dlc
I'll tell you when you tell me the ideal level to invade with.
i have no idea
what the frick is this from? cheating?
What do you think? The answer is yes.
No everything about that was obviously not cheating
dumbass
I'm like 20 hours in. I'm probably about halfway through theDLC, but I've only killed 2 remembrance bosses so far.
Why did people here screech that the whole thing is 4-6 hours long? Was it a discord campaign or something?
>Was it a discord campaign or something?
Yes.
These people watched some moron on youtube speedrun the game by running tot he objective and not exploring anything just to get the video out asap.
You know how these FULL GAME walkthroughs are.
i'm probably 15-20 hours in and still have some areas i haven't been to (pretty sure i'm in the last main quest area though). it's got a ton of content
review culture, people try to clear content as fast as possible.
Pretty sure you can speedrun this shit by abusing summons and mimic
See that huge city? It actually isnt that big and you can't go into 90% of the buildings and there aren't any residents or enemies that won't instantly aggro when they see you.
Elden Ring is fricking gay. They made a big beautiful open world with nothing to do except fight the same 20 mobs and 15 bosses over and over again for 110 hours.
>ugh how am I supposed to feel immersed in this world without procgen NPCs named "Citizen" spouting the same five canned lines at me as I pass them, Hackazaki does it again
What? The capital is area is already huge, why would you even want to enter every single building?
>all of the furnace areas have summoning spirits enabled
am i seriously supposed to believe there is a summoning spirit who could be in anyway helpful with these fights? any good cheese strats? just wasted like 10 minutes whittling one down and then torrent died from bad hit detection on the aoe and i got one-shotted before i could revive him
you mean the furnace golems?
Get off of Torrent and hit their legs with something that staggers well, even if you aren't a strength build put on a fist weapon at least
All of the attacks are very easy to dodge, just don't be in front of it. Jump instead of dodging, the jump has a very large amount of iframes because of how low to the ground the fire is. The only scary attack like this is when it jumps, so if you see both legs light up just hop on Torrent and run away, be ready to jump when it lands
aight i'll give that a shot, figured i needed torrent's double jump to dodge the feet explosions
Was miyazaki asleep when he did the cerulean coast and finger ruins? Empty, boring, dogshit.
newbie here finally with a good enough PC to run Elden Ring
I'm starting basegame and probably won't get the DLC until I beat it, how difficult are no magic runs in that game? Or should I dip into int/faith?
You should dip into multiple stats because the game gives you a lot more levels compared to the souls games. There's also a lot of weapons that have STR/DEX + FTH/INT scaling.
If you put a single point into anything that isn't strength, you didn't beat the game. Sorry.
>He played on easy and thinks he completed the game
you can absolutely ungabunga your way through the game with STR or DEX build and never use any spell
but it's definitely more fun at least having some points into one of these stats so you can use an occasional spell
GET 60 VIT BY LATEGAME
it doesn't matter what your build is, just do it or you will be doing a challenge run.
Pure STR with twin colossal weapons is honestly easymode in ER because jump attacks are so insanely good. do with that info what you will.
>uses +10 mimic tear and typed "OP ELDEN RING" builds into YouTube
I see a lot of people complaining about quality weapons, or weapons that require a bit of magic stats.
How the frick do you not have a few spare levels to put in those stats when the recommended level for the DCL is 150+?
well 99 points have to go into strength so that doesn't leave too much breathing room
My issue with the game is that it's too long to commit to a single build, I usually just dump all my points into one stat and stick to that playstyle till the end.
Elden Ring? too fricking long.
Also opinions on replaying the DLC? getting the skibidibi tree fragments on reruns is probably going to be a chore
>My issue with the game is that it's too long to commit to a single build
you have so many larval tears to use, if you want to change your build midway it's not a problem
>Also opinions on replaying the DLC? getting the skibidibi tree fragments on reruns is probably going to be a chore
Once you've played through it once, you could try beating it with lower level blessings as a challenge. I know I'll be replaying it multiple times with new characters
I have enormously more interest in replaying the DLC than the base game which is actually kind of a problem because the idea of slogging through most of the base game just to get to the DLC is not very appealing
some people are stuck firmly in the dark souls 1 belief that not fully investing in a stat is a waste of points
they don't run quality builds, they don't pick up utility magic even now that spell slots are completely free, they think 5 more AR is more valuable than a new tool
>Senessax
Holy AIDS
I finaly got to start the DLC and I made my way to the backhand blade.
Is it worth going dex/arc for them with bleed affinity? They do hit fast, but mabe keen or quality affinity is better.
holy frick I love this thing so much
is it good? you can apply that to the great katana...
It's very fast, has good stagger damage, it's very manoueverable, applies scarlet rot. Hits for massive burst damage after it consumes scarlet rot on your enemy.
>defeat a knight in the fort without breaking a sweat
>400k runes
you homies are really not leveling up? what do you even do with all these runes?
in the dlc, levelling is kinda irrelevant honestly
What fort exactly? I keep seeing Anons talk about how many souls the DLC gives while I've been finding the rewards incredible middling in NG+, especially compared to the amount of runes I got from killing Mohg to enter the DLC in the first place. I haven't even seen a DLC boss drop more than like 250k runs so far (a far cry from the 900k mohg got me)
fort of reprimand, very simple dungeon
I did that dungeon two nights ago and I definitely did not get 400k souls in NG+ when I killed that boss. Are you on a different level of NG+?
>See that huge castle? You can actually explore and it's a huge ass area.
you cant though
Yes you can moron
is the occult affinity any good on your weapons?
on my weapons? yeah. on yours? gonna need some more info.
I use mostly katanas?
does it have i-frames?
desuuu many of the new ashes are really good.
It doesn't have iframes, but it makes you jump quite high in the air, so you can avoid a lot of attacks using it. It also has great range, also the hit is an aoe.
Occult is for adding arcane scalling, if you have a lot of arcane it's fricking amazing. If not, don't bother with it. It generally outperforms bleed infusion if you're pure arcane.
Literally you
Complaining about difficulty is going to happen when 90% of people are actually moronic. I Co-Op 24/7 and this DLC has killed it. Do you know how many people aren't upgrading their blessing at all? It's tragic to watch them stack their buffs, run in and die. You can't help the truly stupid.
Haha frick.
outskilled
Mimic chests? Nah.
Mimic walls however..
>Radahn Miquella phase 2
How?
This feels impossible in a way no other fight in either the base game or DLC feels.
I haven't had a problem with anything until now, where I can barely get him down to half.
>bleed weapon
>mimic tear on phase 2
>physic flask on p2 with the opaline bubble tear
>spam weapon art and hope you stagger or bleed him before you get ass raped
literally the only thing i could do to win
Yeah it's a pretty fricked fight. I'm taking a break from it right now. Has so many attacks that I can't figure out how to dodge or are just moronic guaranteed damage
Fingerprint greatshield, Mohgwyn's sacred spear and Tree sentinel armor. Ertree's favor +2, Pearldrake +3, Turtle +1 and Greatshield talisman. He'll run out of gas before you do.
does increasing INT makes stacking frost easier? or should I only get enough INT points to wield certain weapons?
Frost buildup doesn't scale with int, just magic damage. Increase intelligence if you're mostly casting spells, or if the weapons you're using primarily scale with intelligence (equal or higher base magic damage than physical and equal or better scaling value). Cold infused weapons are an option for both physical builds and intelligence builds, because they gain intelligence scaling but don't lose that much of their base physical scaling. A weapon with high strength scaling by default will still have good damage on a strength build when Cold-infused, and they get some magic damage to help with physically-resistant enemies. For intelligence builds, Cold is useful for having a higher proportion of physical damage plus the frostbite, helping you do damage to more magic-resistant enemies.
so am I better off using frost on my katanas or should I double dip and get more blood?
You should use blood infusion if you have arcane investment. If you're more dex-focused, then keen or cold will be better.
With high arcane, occult is considerably better than blood if the weapon has native bleed
what makes occult good? what does it even do
already did rellana, not sure what I'm missing.
Occult is just Heavy / Keen for arcane. Tends to be (slightly) weaker than heavy / keen, but in exchange it also scales up native status buildup
how do i get to the top left of the map? I swear i've looked everywhere, but i must be missing some cave near a cliff or whatever to access it
are you talking about the areas that are very high in the sky? you can access the bottom level very easily by entering a cave after rellana castle
The place to get the map down at the bottom, yeah. I already unlocked the top area after the shadow keep
What's the order of places to visit after bearing Rellana? Continue straight ahead or go to the Dragon area?
Go past her area and explore, there's a legacy dungeon there that you'll have to do eventually to progress
>see that huge castle?
theres no room or anything interesting just courtyards and rooftops like every other main dungeon in elden trash
WHY DOES A FRICKING HIPPO NEED QUILLS YOU PIECES OF SHIT FRICK YOU most annoying boss.
I found some in the open world and they are suprisingly easy to fight with Torrent.
Other than white mask, lord of blood's exultation, and stacking ARC are there other talismans or items that can increase the damage my Reduvia weapon art does?
Does anybody know if the talisman that's supposed to enhance kick attacks works with the fists weapon?
It does.
nice
for the first time ever i'm kinda scared what awaits me
This whole sequence was great, I hadn't felt like I shouldn't be somewhere as much since the first time I got teleported to Caelid with that chest.
why is this community so fricking stupid?
This game normified souls. You can thank Miyazaki for the gradual downhill slide from this point on.
>le dark souls was an epic niche game before elden ring
lmao get the frick out of here poser homosexual
this series has been mainstream since DS1
I didn't realize the performance of ER was so bad. Traveling on horseback is stutter city but I guess I have to cope because millions dont mind it?
Bros how do you beat Commander Gaius? He kills me in one or two hits whether I'm on horseback or not. Right now I'm running Mohg spear with lance talisman. Do I need something faster?
What is your blessing level?
10 scadutree blessing, 6 revered spirit ash
Go level your blessing, there are almost certainly places you haven't been. Failing that, invest in a great shield.
>Kindly Miquella...
>I see you've thrown away...
>Something you should not have. Under any circumstances.
kino
Absolute kino bossfight.
weeb take
what to do with dryleaf dane?
Go either do Castle Ensis or head directly west from Dane where you'll find another grace. You'll pick up something that will hint at why he's being quiet. I don't know if it shows up if you haven't beaten Castle Ensis.
she's starting to break me I'm on the cusp of just using the Scadutree Fragments
don't give in based purist, don't let her take your scadu virginity!!
have you used them at all
No. Not a single one.
nice, keep going or you're a b***h
Where the FRICK do you find the artbook that comes with the deluxe edition on steam?
>heart stolen
Never forget that all fromohomos are bottom homosexuals.
So the leaks were correct? Radahn is the final boss? HAHAHAHAHA From is running out of ideas. The fight looked fricking shit in the leak as well, with Radahn being slow as frick.
Play the game instead of sperging out, troony.
Radahn is a kino final boss.
On the final boss and it is definitely not unfun and overly spastic at all, nuh uh. Definitely not Melina 2.0
At level 16 skibidi btw
Bad balance, I've only taken a couple tries per boss. Games scuffed now lol
The open world stealth section became pure cancer halfway through. And not beucase it was hard, but because it was a very large open area with no mount and I didn't want to miss any items, so it took forever to check every spot.
I remember when this game was released and exposed the shitters on Ganker who relived on r1 spam. Feels great to see the continuation!
the shitters are people who use anything that isnt R1. like the shitters who click the wallhack button in their first person shooters.
rellana is aids
speaking of cheating, i got summoned in co-op today and the game instantly kicked me to the main menu because of ''inappropiate behaviour'' i guess i was summoned by a cheater
Holy shit. This guy kicked my fricking ass. I found the dancer lady and lion pretty easy, but this dude wrecked my shit. Happy to finally get him down.
Nanayabros...
I fricking hated having to fight the stump at the beginning every attempt, it was just a boring runback in another form
Honestly would have preferred a runback instead because his level was the coolest in the game
Yeah, that made it annoying. I am loathe to admit it but I got hit by his stupid grab in his babby form more than a few times too. Was pretty embarrassing.
I did too, he randomly stops getting flinched so it's easy to get grabbed if you're just swinging to get through that stupid "phase"
Opposite for me, maybe because ive been leveling up Skibidi fragments but only the first two bosses were unfair bullshit, and everything past that was really fricking balanced and fun. This DLC is great and not even that bad difficulty wise, you just need to fragments which just means explore the game map you payed 40 dollars to explore
>and everything past that was really fricking balanced and fun.
Everything? have you done the last boss?
Yeah he hasn't and it shows. Boss is moronic even at 16+ skibidi
>skibidi
You have to be 18 years old+ to be here, frick off kid.
Done everything cept that and
these two areas
but I hear the last boss is god awful I know WHO it is, I dont want to know what he does just yet
This dude was the first rememberance boss I fought and it was not a good time
seriously. frick the hippo. his bite attack is annoying, can be difficult to consistently dodge, it has tracking. as a matter of fact, that's a huge issue with all bosses. they fricking track you. stop that, what is this, dark souls 2? it's god damn annoying, especially with such small margins for error. also lame that flasks don't heal like they used to, even though there's no reason they shouldn't.
BASICALLY NOT EVERY CRITICISM IS UNFOUNDED.
>also lame that flasks don't heal like they used to, even though there's no reason they shouldn't.
what did xhe mean by this anons?
just what I said, that flasks don't heal like the did in dark souls 1/2. god forbid a single flask fully heals your health bar. you get hit once? two flasks. drop em back to back if you want full health, which is something you may need to withstand the next attack when you get killed in less than three hits.
do you have it max upgraded to +12?
yes, and my vigor is 45
>45
that is not even a lot
1 flask should be more than enough to heal like 80% of your hp bar
in my experience it's been two flasks to get full health if an attack does 70% or more damage
yeah I have the talisman, I just won't use it because I don't want to take up a spot. anyway I just use erdtree heal, with does way more than flasks at this point, the only downside is you can't use it in the heath of battle as reliably because it takes a second to cast.
but yeah, frick the hippo. if you want another unsolicited opinion on this game, I think big ass bosses like the hippo or the divine lion should be in larger arenas. half the time they get you into a corner just as a consequence of how big they are and how they move/how you dodge them, which can make it difficult to see what they'll do next, when their fricking heads are clipping through the wall. give me an open arena even, as long as I can see clearly enough. it works fine with rennala from the base game, or even rom the vacuous spider from bloodborne, no reason they can't do it here.
the upgraded increased flask healing talisman is very good for this and it's super easy to get too
Should I go keen or bleed on the backhand blades?
How the frick do you get to this area
You have to use the O MOTHER emote on a statue in a room right before you fought the boar rider.
Yes, it is that moronic and impossible to figure out on your own.
>it is that moronic
More like kino.
Fricking zoomers.
Boar rider? what Boar rider?
Ive explored the entire map and fought every boss (cept the final one, duh) but have not seen anything in these last two levels here
Go through the ruins of morg and then go through the church district.
How do you get to the ruins in the lake?
Also how do i get to the big dead dragon and the map for the east part of the map?
hehehehe eat a dick
Is it true that the dlc scales with you?, then its useles to lvl up?, I kinda wanna stay RL150 for coop/pvp.
Also whats up with this dlc and females?, a lot of the npcs are females and a lot of the armor sets are female oriented: rellana, rakshasa, the gladiator lady, the dark knight with the shadow katana. Etc...
It doesn't scale at all. The enemies all start super overpowered but you'll find items that buff your stats to match them.
Oh I know about the fragments, im talking about normal RL, will I get my ass kicked if I stay RL150 and only using the fragments to "level up"?
I entered the DLC at level 84 and it was pure hell. The level you should be entering at is around 125-150, you should be fine staying at 150 and just using fragments.
i entered at a 170 pvp meme build and it is not fun. gonna try and pump with some tree frags when i get home tonight.
DLC has different progression for leveling, so yes your rune level doesnt matter
I hate the Ancient Dragon Black person so much.
Im so sick of getting two-shot or one-shot despite having 70vig and a Scatto blessing of 5
>Scatto blessing of 5
You gotta level that up bro
summon help =)
>despite having 5
Thats so low.
That's all I've found so far. I've been exploring every nook and cranny I can find and ended up wandering into the Dragon Pit. I can dish out enough damage to kill him but it also means I have to basically no-hit this fricker at the same time.
How many times will Miyazaki make Duke's' Archive? This is the third one
That whole keep is pretty fun, good example of a level.
>eternal sleep
excuse me what
IM GONNA SNOOOOOOOOOOZE!
It's effectively death since I don't think hits wake them up
I also have no idea if you can build the status from regular sleep things too, and also there don't seem to be very many things in the game that cause eternal sleep
God, I wish that were me.
I hate how they make some talismans mandatory, like the new turtle neck talisman because of all the bosses' ADHD.
Man, Lies of P spoiled me, it feels so bad to come back to this shitty combat
Why do I love Thioller so much? The way he says St.Trina's name is filled with such a mix of love and sadness
what are you suspposed to do at the end of the fissure? the level with the stone worms shooting lasers
Jump down the statue
damn, there is a boss down below...
what area exactly
Find the grace where there is a bunch of small animals sleeping on a ship and then take le deadly plunge on the spot where you would have your intrusive thoughts tell you to do it
Is the Renalla sword worth investing in? How do you even stat with it? like 30/30/30 str/dex/int as a baseline?
Exploring the open world in the DLC feels very boring. All you find is a million smithing stones, and I already entered the DLC with a fully upgraded Heavy Giant Crusher. I think more NPC's with quests could have made exploring interesting, but there's like five fricking npc's in this shit. The open world does not mesh with Souls formula.
Finding 3 and 4 stones really felt like the game mocking me.
Final boss is like
>15 hit combo that you have to avoid (or it does 3 quarters of your health or outright kills you) perfectly to get a single hit on him that does a 50th of his health in damage
>also does frick you aoe pull that is basically unavoidable if you are in melee range whatsoever
Cool boss guys
Is there a way to dodge the followup to the pull? Because I keep getting hit and it stinks of free damage
I will agree that the boss is pure cancer but you can actually dodge the pull with a roll, tried it and it worked.
That's why I use mimic and the most op weapon possible. I don't give a frick about From bosses anymore.
mad cuz bad
Yeah me too, problem is the boss will kill you instantly if you use mimic when entering the arena and they nerfed moonveil sadly, I loved that weapon (dark moon greatsword pales in comparison)
Can't imagine a universe where I would use a summon to beat a boss. I'm too good for that.
Yeah, why even level or collect the fragments either. YDBTG
No, just summons since they frick up the ai of the bosses. Everything else's fine.
do you guys even waste recovering your runes?
Reminder Radahn "in his prime" got beat by Morgott
>giant flying spider scorpions
IM OUT
this dlc has convinced me even more than vanilla that the game is balanced around spirit ashes being used.
you didn't beskill git gud
How do you handle bosses sperging out with their 15 hit combos without splitting aggro, and them bumrushing you when you try to heal?
I dodge and hit
When I want to heal I dodge and heal, it's not difficult
So you do the trade from the 10 hit combos and a single hit or single heal in? Do all of your boss fights take a half hour?
Can usually chug multiple times depends on the combo
Can also bait and run then chug
>15 hit combos without splitting aggro, and them bumrushing you when you try to heal?
why dont you be more specific about the boss and the attack or combo that you are talking about so that i can give you an honest and serious answer? the way you structured that makes me think you dont want one.
i use defense-boosting talismans and buffs, morgott's great rune, an upgraded shield, prayerful strike to maximize survivability
i try to find windows within the attack chains, there are often many but what you have to do to get them isn't always the same
sometimes you can jump in on an attack, other times you can simply strafe around, or you're given a window to guard counter if you block one specific hit
dying a few times to learn the boss's timings and tricks is normal and expected, the only bad death is one you learned nothing from
weird, havent used them a single time in all my playthroughs so cant say that i agree with that notion.
Dragonwound grease is utter shit
exploring the rauh ruins and trying to find the fragment for the north west corner of the map is unironically harder than any boss i've done so far
fragment? you mean map?
and yeah that area is incredibly confusing with how many levels the upper area has
yeah the map fragment thingy. it looks like it's at the very bottom of the world so i assume there's some way down from up here but im totally lost
im playing dex and it's okay but STR is still the best by far. there are some mobs in dungeons that you literally have to have stunlocked 100% of the time or they will murder you
>it looks like it's at the very bottom of the world so i assume there's some way down from up here but im totally lost
Nope, that got me too. It's effectively a completely separate area. Go north of Moorth Ruins through the lake and swamp
oh shit i had somehow completely missed that, thank you anon. i'd been looking to get down to that area for hours now
they're amazing though. good variety of attacks, decent range, good speed on attacks. they've worked really well for all the remembrance bosses so far
Every time ive used one I though, why would I use this when the great sword exists
it's faster and more precise. GS are clunky and rely on you doing stuff like spamming jump attacks to build stagger
i beat it but i still have no idea how to dodge that AOE attack in the last phase, i just ate it every time
How do you build stagger with the heavy katana?
After Lion, Rellana and Messmer, this guy was piss easy.
Gaius next.
How 2 beat relanna
Mimic , blasphemous blade skill
This.
Stop trying so hard, From sure didn't.
get more skibidi blessings
only if you didn't use summons, spirit ashes, greatshields, or a weapon on the list of banned weapons (pic related)
Reduvia blood blade 22 times should do the trick
>1282x716
I played the first half of the DLC on le steam deck
use a spirit ash, dont summon the knight lady because it doubles the bosses health or some shit.
having at least one dude who can tank her 1000 combo swings makes the boss actually beatable believe it or not
wait you could summon some npc to help you? i missed that hope i didn't frick the story
Is dex finally good or are strength users still at a huge advantage due to them having easy access to stagger?
I got the *tips fedora* Milady and it staggers like crazy for how fast the swings are
I just picked the base game back up after dropping it back in 2022 because after Godrick I was exhausted. Now I'm having a blast and just got Rogiers Rapier from the guy at the roundtable. Also gonna fight Radagons Red Wolf again today (he keeps fricking me up). I wonder why I didnt like this game when it came out. I'm having a lot of fun with it now. I see why you guys love it so much
pro tip: get to 40 vigor quickly. You don't have to right away, but if you do so before the halfway point in the vanilla game, you make a lot of early stuff easier
Starting to kind of notice that I'm getting killed too quickly already, yeah. I'll start pouring into vigor. Thanks anon
>killed Divine Beast with only two Shadman blessings
Did I beat him?
>firespark perfume bottle
>scales to dex
WHY THE FRICK DO DEX gayS GET EVERYTHING?
>get to drink St trina's pussy juice
Nice
how to kill putrid knight help
>finding ancient dragon smithing stones left and right
>no ancient dragon somber stones unless I kill GAY homosexual dragons
FRICK YOU
How are the new weapon types? I haven't bought the DLC yet but I will on payday in two days. I'm mostly interested in the backhand blade. Looks really cool.
Light greatswords, beast claws, and perfume bottles are all great, backhand blades are alright, great katanas seem kinda meh but I admittedly haven't used them much yet. Haven't found any of the others so far
Great katanas are meh
>tfw no quick access to blacksmith
I can't access every area because I have no fricking idea how to get there.
radahn is moronic
How do you kill the skibidi avatar?
The head takes like 3x more damage than the rest of its body
Make sure to do the critical attack when you drain its HP, the damage carries forward to the next life bar
14 flasks is definitely not enough to pay the unavoidable damage tax if you have to kill this Black person three times. Surely there has to be one more gimmick that I'm missing.
I don't recall any of its attacks being very scuffed, maybe your skibidi level is too low?
i did it with 9 and 1 lord heal. that fight is way easier than pretty much all the bosses except for its triple explosion attack at the end
hit it in the face until it dies
then do it again
then do it again
if you take the crit on it each time you kill it it'll take a chunk out of the next phase
>Commander Gaius
>Deletes Torrent if you try horseback
>Undodgeable off horseback
I don't get it.
FRICK THE RANDOM JUMPSCARE OWLS
this first time one got me i immediately got assaulted by the naked man in the woods with the bearclaw weapons
We didn't have a choice
Prepare to Die Edition was released it was horribly buggy and everyone use DSfix instead.
DS1 was a port of a 360 game that used GFWL, and then later had a generic Steamworks conversion program slapped onto it when GFWL shut down, and then that bandaid stopped working too as Windows and Steam keep going through iterations and change over the years.
The DS1 PC port was so bad that it was delisted and replaced with Remastered.
Amusingly, the Switch version absolutely trashes the 360/PS3 versions of PTDE graphically, since it runs at 1080p30 with far fewer framedips (and with a simple mod it can run at 720p60, albeit with dips like the Pro/X 60fps patches for DS3 and Sekiro). Too bad about that sound quality.
Dark Souls 2's weapon durability glitch. Dark Souls 2 (DX9) and the DX11 edition ran on separate servers so PC players would have to pay money for a patch that should have been free. Scholar of the First Sin was a paid upgrade to DX11.
Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring run on PS4 hardware from 10 years ago. It's a PS4 game and it shows: 20-30 fps and it looks good thanks to their artists, not their engineers.
Unable to summon companion
MONGREL INTRUDER
How do Str/Fth gays cope with the fact the DLC is a piece of cake for Dex/Arc/Intgays?
str/fth still has the most broken weapon in the game especially with minic tear
Why do you lie?
i uninstall, refund, and play dark souls 1 and 2
Where's the guy you fight for the claw weapon? I can't find him
He's in the forest east of the start grace
It's a small area but he's easy to miss so just keep combing
Thanks. I'll try again after the football
Let us see the faces that lurk beneath.
holy shit that freyja
Dragon Communion Cardinal looks like THAT?
Leda and Jolan for me.
She reminds me of Saber from Fate
i heard miyazaki's been paling around with nasu, rellana's halfway to saber too
Fate/From Software soon
KINO LOADING
PUTRESCENT KNIGHT WHY IS THIS Black person SO HARD TO HIT
just max upgraded Occult Greatkatana with lion's claw
it's gaming time
why occult
but Ganker told me killing the fire giants were a waste of time
Are Relannas blades even good? Their stat scaling is weird as frick. No idea how to even spec with it.
Thiollier just gave me his gamer juice concoction thing.
Do I miss out on anything good by drinking it immediately? Should I wait?
How good is the Sekiro psycick tear? is it easy to parry with it like in Sekiro, or will I still suck with it if I suck with normal parrying?
Try it out with a shield before you try full-blown weapon blocking so you aren't totally fricked if you do it wrong. It's pretty easy to use, but the feedback isn't as obvious as Sekiro. Throw in the curved sword and dagger talismans to get the most out of the guard counters and stance break ripostes and you can really eat bosses alive.
>everything kills you in a few hits if you don't have enough skibidi
Of course the DS2 director was a part of it
i am shocked at how many people did not learn from godfrey that the aoes get buttfricked by jumping
for these comics to be funny you must not base one around a skill issue of your own
>everything kills you in a few hits if you dont have enough vigor
Of course
I did the same thing off of one of these, maybe even that one
Do the backhand blade's AoW not stagger? it interrupts them so it feels like it should, but I never manage to stagger bosses with it.
in previous games, you could make messages with the words "man" and "woman". those words are strangely missing from elden ring. any reason why that might be?
Because youre a homosexual
>imbibe nectar
>die
??? what to do??
drink more lightweight
it's dat sweet dicky juice anyway, not like you wouldn't want to.
lmao butthurt troon.
Recently played ds 1 and I was struck by how slowly and deliberately the player drinks estus.
And the same feeling arose in this add-on. Enemies and especially bosses so accelerated that now even seemingly super-fast drinking can turned into animation from ds 1.
Instead of a calm and thorough exploration, the whole series has descended into some rhythm game about rolling and clicking to timing.
Should I go pure dex or bleed with backhand blades? They attack really fast, but keen on them gives S scaling on dex
Are people really not using the Scadu fragments to flex?
Did you avoid Golden seeds/Sacred tears in the base game as well?
Better start over if you have more than 3 estus
>explore for 2 hours
>no scadu fragment
Are you surprised? And yes of course people avoided golden seed and sacred tears.
People should just play how they want, whether it makes the game a lot harder or a lot easier
Yeah, I'm not flagging my account with no game beaten, thanks.
Is bleed still OP in the DLC like in Vanilla?
No
they nerfed it but its still top tier
ddr tier games
>tfw magic cannon
holy FRICK
People talk about vigor a lot, but how much endurance do you need in the DLC to dodge roll through the bosses? i hear they have extremely long combos.
>People talk about vigor a lot, but how much endurance do you need in the DLC to dodge roll through the bosses? i hear they have extremely long combos.
Use the hardtear and just deflect everything.
How many red bears are there? I'm curious if I can make a whole "Bear communion" build.
>somewhere a great rune has broken
>and so too has a powerful charm
What the frick does that mean? I was just exploring the map going past the bonny village... I fricked something up didn't i?
Miquella's great rune has shattered
Is it over? Do I need to restart the playthrough?
No burning the thorns in Church of the Bud after beating Romina, Saint of the Bud ends Ansbach, Thiollier sidequests prematurely.
Now you can head to Cerulean Coast for Thiollier's sidequest.
Go back to talk to the npc that work for Miquella
No thats scripted to happen when you move up north enough on the map. Go back and talk to all the cool NPCs you've met so far however, they have new things to say. The message about the charm breaking is referencing the charm Miquella had on all the NPCs you were running into if you didn't catch the clues from their dialogue.
I think the only thing you can miss from triggering that too soon is not getting Thiollier's Concoction, which doesn't seem to really have a use. The charm it's referring to is just a barrier Miquella put that didn't allow you to enter the Fissure early.
I talked to him before and after, he gives you the concoction after the spell breaks.
He didn't for me. I only found him after the rune was broken. He skipped right ahead to being depressed about St. Trina.
Miquella took off his condom, prepare yourself
>tfw JETPACK SKELETONS
HOLY FRICK
STRbros we've been abandoned
What? There's frick-tons of new strength weapons.
>Faith
My Giant-Crushers are still fricking everything up. Once I got acclimated to the game again with Rellana, all of the problem bosses that everyone's mentioned so far: Hippo, Bayle, Messmer, Gaius, etc. have been a cakewalk for me. I'm about ready to burn the tree but I think there's still some areas I've missed.
There's like 0 int or dex weapons (except quality fricking everything) either.
>pot dungeon
>okay that was kinda fun
>find another pot dungeon
I sleep
this is driving me crazy. Where do i go to get down there where the map thing is? I have the top bonfires, just can't figure out how to get down
Anon told me earlier
would have never found it this playthrough
cheers, i did in fact miss that tunnel
From Moorth ruins, go north to the smaller puddle of water on the map. There's a cave with a statue. Go in there, then hang a right.
holy FRICK finally beat that prostitute rellena,
i had to use the demi-human swordsman ashes but i dont give a frick, if shes gonna use 2 swords and spam like a homosexual, im gonna use 2 swords and spam like a homosexual as well
i beat her solo, took like 3 hours though
bet i had more fun than you
Weirdo virgin
>holy FRICK finally beat that prostitute rellena
Did you, though? Because it sounds like you didn't beat her.
i caved and summoned tear after about an hour trying to solo her
beat her almost immediately with the tear out and felt terrible
wish i could reset her
Should i go beat relannalana? I'm scared of exploring and triggering more weird shit that potentially makes me miss quests.
Bayle the Dread is the worst fricking fight in the game. It's like they took all the shitty parts from that wienersucker Midir and put it on an even stronger dragon
Dragon fights have never been fun in soulsborne (I liked the gimmick one in sekiro though)
midir was a great fight with zero negatives though
nta but
>Charges like a homosexual to the other side of the arena so you have to run after him
>Long as frick sperg combo where you can't touch him and have to wait until he is done to chase him again to the other side of the arena.
the spectacle is cool and that never hit me when i downloaded his moveset so i didnt feel bad about it
a really fun fight, just went naked with a great axe and kept hitting him in the head since there is a clear window for it practically after every attack if you face him like a man from the front
Oh yeah, I also think it's a great fight but it does have a few little issues
>Oh, mind your steps around the church. You wouldn't want to hurt the child.
>Left after he said that
>Came back later and saw this
they really need to get rid of weapon upgrades and just make weapons scale better with stats for the endgame, it's beyond tiresome to get materials for every single weapon you want to try out, they removed armour upgrades anyway so stop pretending to be an rpg already
But then there would less meaningful collectibles to find.
It's not that big of an issue considering you can buy them, but then it's a big issue because you can't buy the last one and there's frickall of them through the entire game and DLC.
FRICK
mod it in
Wow Bayle and all the DLC dragons died to Rot and pest threads. Same as base game.
there is nothing else here besides a shitty boss fight?
There's an edgy Sauron armor if you go up to the top of the jar elevator
which one?
The one that goes down to the boss area, hop back on it and it will go up to the top floor
Yeah, just got it, there's also a cool shield there.
name or pics?
should i wait for patches or just play the "1.0" version?
If you don't beat the DLC now you'll never truly beat it.
You homosexuals are desperate to defend this trash.
Don't forget to ignore every skibidi fragment and play at RL1 with no weapon or else YDBTG
homie i didn't defend shit
read what people write first and the answer
don't be moronic c'mon
arguably 1.0 is the real game they wanted to put out
the moment they release a balancing patch you stop playing their vision for the game and start playing the pander to morons that can't push their buttons version
i say this as someone who needed 2hours worth of tries to beat Rellana
anyone here using the new big katana?
is it any good?
i like how it looks
for when this thread dies
How new are you?
this thing is pretty based for mounted horse combat
Who is this dude and why can't I hit him? I really, really want to hit him.
