Elden Ring badlands DLC for 2023, since it's going to take a long time to come out do you guys think it will be more of an expansion kinda thing just like Iceborne is to MHWorld? I doubt it will only add badlands related content given how much mysteries there are in the game still.

why the frick would they release a DLC for the fricking badlands when the most interesting thing about them (godfrey) is already in the base game?
Its kinda amazing how this game has no replay value.
Well that's what happens when you've got a pointlessly large open world where you have to trek to churches to get healing upgrades, find golden seeds, and then find out that each of the dungeons just reuse enemies and bosses.
If you try to replay the game and ignore these things, the playthrough gets smaller but then it ends up being a boring horse ride to the bosses because there's no level design between each major area like the past games. Just big ass boring world.
Yeah kind of sad...I don't know why they keep trying for this instead of going back to the formula that made the best fricking games which is unironically demon's souls and bloodborne. Frick your open world Black folk. Dark Souls 1&2 did it alright because even though it was open world, it was still distinct levels but I contend both games would have been better with a bloodborne/demon's souls central hub and specific open world levels. I've replayed BB like 7 times, DS 1 like 4 times, and DS3 like 3 times. They can be repayable bur ER's last hour of game play is such a fricking slog
