HOW DID YOU BEAT THE GAME?
>Uses Summons and Spirit ashes
My Summons, Spirit ashes, and I beat the game.
>Uses Summons
My Summons and I beat the game
>Uses Spirit ashes
My Spirits ashes and I beat the game.
>Alone in the darkness, kills the boss Solo.
I beat the game.
I beat the game x2 because my mimic is me. 🙂
HATE HIPPO
>HATE one of the most honest boss fights
The movesets are fricking shite man. Artorias now that was an honest fight. From could never do it again
>hippo
>honest
el oh el
ask me how i know you use spirit summons
They're easy out in the field but the boss? Flops around like a moron and the camera sucks. I beat him on my 4th try after the first 2 tries with the Dryleaf Arts wasn't cutting it.
Try quitting the game and loading back in.
Holy shit.
sexo dragon wife ahead
Just sleep in that Dragussy!
Where is the dragon wife?
I've been to the peak and encountered Bayle but haven't really tried to fight him yet since I remembered seeing something about a dragon girl quest you get locked out if you kill him
Dragon wife is at the giant dragon corpse in this pic
At the dragon pit go straight ahead instead of to the left up the mountain and you'll find it
If you get her can you still get the transformation?
You can't make her your wife and transform unfortunately.
Well that’s just one more reason to go through it twice, since I’m pretty sure you only get one each of that item that makes one character an ash or he gives you a sword.
Cannot for the life of me find my way up there. I've found like six entirely different areas, how am I this bad at directions?
You have to kill the ancient dragon man boss and his arena leads right to it
Man I still havent found that
look for dragon's pit and go through the dungeon bro
Is he in the giant spiky mountain?
don’t worry, the dlc area is a convoluted piece of doodoo.
search for „Elden ring grand dragon shrine location“ on yt
ACK
if they do another dlc, I hope they add even more hybrid spells
the ones they added in this dlc are actually pretty good, and the super secret spell catalyst that casts both sorceries and incantations really shook up the meta for hybrid builds
luv dancing lion
luv swordmaster onze
hate rellana
simple as
>hate rellana
She's parry-bait anon. She gets absolutely raped by it.
Same goes for notYoda but him you can just stunlock.
I took the teleporter and ended up here. Killed that one dude and got an item. Is this area isolated? I can't find a way down.
Yeah, just travel to a grace
where is the teleporter?
Around here with the headless ghost troll. There's a tower with the teleporter.
so I just fast travel to that castle checkpoint below the marker?
Here.
is there an enemy that has a level drain attack like king allant? I was a moron and went past level 150 to try to boost my spell damage a bit further and now I really regret it. I'm probably just going to make a new character and bum rush the dlc at a low SL to get the items I need for pvp, but just in case, please let me know if there is a way to de-level a character.
haha le spinny shotgun ranged attack that does 90% of my hp but looks like a different attack at first, bravo miyizaki
What’s with all these useful 1 time unique consumable items?
If it only has 1 use I’ll never use it
don't, you need 2 of the unique consumables to get 2 special weapons
you'll know which ones when you find them
I think it takes the same consumable for the weapons and the other gets you a spirit ash
Anon, are you sure they are 1 time use? there are some infinite use consumable items in the DLC.
>Igon exists to blatantly evoke moby dick
>But Bayle is the one missing a leg
>his flesh is also rent with the scars of his lost battle, placidusax's missing heads burnt into its flesh.
>BOTH of them are Captain Ahab
Absolute kino
CUUUUURSE YOUUUUUU BAAAAAAYLEEEE
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAYLLEEEEEEE YOU FRICKING butthole AHHHHHHHHHHH I'M IN SUCH EXQUISITE PAIN AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH BAAAAAAAAAAAYLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEE FRICK YOUUUUUUUUUUU

I'M GONNA SHOOOOOOVE FIFTY HARPOOOOONS UP YOUR DREADFUL URETHRAAAAAAA
completely unfair and badly designed
Wait until you fight the version with a lion head in enir ilim.
get gud
meh, the dual wielding version is worse. This one is ok in comparison
*Wave of Gold*
>ate the blessing of marika to cure a raw blood pudding because I assumed it was like a physick
oops
Time to kill another one of those flaming wicker basket buttholes.
The ones with the shielded feet are real frickers, aiming the mega pots is a pain
They would be fine if they weren't coded to spam their projectiles when you get on a higher platform
is there any point to killing these guys beyond getting crafting mats?
They each drop new crystal tears
The pleasure of killing big basket man, also they drop physick tears
How do you beat these big homosexuals when they won't stop doing their auto-aim fire homosexualry at you any time you get close?
Just double jump their stomps and keep hitting their legs
How do you reach this area?
Just walk
You take the coffin in the shadow keep, right of the inner gate.
so I need to enter that area? I defeated the hippo and decided to scout the area instead of advancing
u reach it by gettin gud
PING PING PING WOOSH
thats the sound of this game turning into sekiro during boss fights because 5 min is all you need
This shit is so fricking fun to use. I hate that I picked it up so late in my playthrough.
I just want to play lies of P again
I dont like Sekiro I dont wanna play 1kat trained wrong
If you guys are building INT try out The Carian sovereignty ash of war. I put it on Milady, but you can add it to anything, and I'm putting out 2k damage per hit with that thing.
Seems similar to grandeur aka "can never use it on a boss, ever" skill. I love the idea but it takes so fricking long to come out.
The animation isn't that long It's around the same time as a charged heavy. I just tried fighting a fire giant with it and it staggers in the 2 R2 combo
Where did you get it from? Ensis?
Upon further testing, it fricking does so much poise damage. 4 Fully charged attacks break the stance of a fire giant.
underneath the cathedral where Ymir is.
EXCALIBAAAAAAAH
Is St Trina telling me to kill Miquella the end of her lines?
because godhood is a prison if he becomes a god he'll just be mindcontrolled by the 2 fingers. Ranni killed her two fingers
2 fingers do frick all, and Trina says nothing of the sort. She suggests that godhood is not worth the price Miquella was prepared to pay. She also implies Miquella is only doing this out of guilt, presumably for his failure in the mortal realm.
>giant bear
I once beat that souped up runebear you fight in a cave that you're supposed to sneak past. Does that count? Are we talking about rune bears or did the dlc add new bears?
You were supposed to sneak past that c**t?
DLC added a new red bear world boss. He drops a bear pelt hat that boosts bear communion incantations. I have no idea what that even means but it looks cool
This is the most I've ever changed my build across any Souls game. I had to CE in more larval tears.
Should I go Str or Dex this time? Can't decide.
strength by itself lost
strength/faith is the biggest winner of the DLC
after that it's dexgays
intgays lost hard
arcane didn't get anything fun except for godzilla dragon's communion incants
Int got a 2 second invulnerability teleport that takes 250ms to cast
And? They still lost. Plus they got double nerfed and all their best weapons got nerfed.
>Plus they got double nerfed and all their best weapons got nerfed.
wait we did?
The patch that went out before the DLC dropped nerfed a shitload of INT stuff, and also randomly hit terra magica and the infinite FP tear again. That's part of the reason so many Moon katana and Moon sword gays are having a hard time.
How did pure strength lose?
What did dex get that strength didn't?
Can anyone tell me what item the Giant Cannon Guy drops in the Darklight Catacombs? It's gold but its floating in mid air so I cant get it.
If you're still wondering, it was something worthless, like a ghostwort +8 or something iirc
Highest tier ghostwort whatever that's called
Base Elden Ring feels like an entirely different game.
Every time I go back to Roundtable I have to remember this is a game I've already put hundreds of hours into.
I am unironically lost in Bonny Gaol. After I go to the basement, kill the rats, and ride the pots down I have no other places to go.
Also beat relanna after 2 hours of sitting there learning the timing for phase 2. While not completely impossible, her attack combos are borderline unfair.
Stay on the pot you ride down and ride it back up
senessax is literally impossible
He is overtuned. Use scarlet rot
Had to spam Black Flame, his HP is absolutely bullshit. He has like 4 attacks total but you have to keep dodging because of his delayed lightning.
Senessax was obviously never playtested with a melee character, you can't even jump over the ground lightning that does 60% reliably
For melee spend the entire fight on Torrent just running behind her over and over. The only attack that doesn't completely avoid is the tail spin, because Fromsoft are dumb and you can't jump over it even if it looks like you should but you can use the dismount iframes if you have to. Its lame and boring but it works.
>no senessax lightning incantation
Lazy dlc
Anyone have some recommendations for weapons to try?
I went into the DLC with Moonveil but am getting my ass kicked by everything and wanted to try out some new stuff anyways
Problem is I'm really low on Sombers and only have 2 more Larval Tears so experimenting is difficult...
If you explore the DLC at night there are a bunch of larval tears around. They are placed in a glowing blue circle thing.
I explored Cheat Engine at night
Won't use it for smithing stones though
>If you explore the DLC at night there are a bunch of larval tears around
FRICK is that the trick?
Also are they any different, or are they just blue?
ghostly teal grave sites
you can't miss them
they're like fricking light house beacons
They look different but have the same name and effect. They will be in the middle of some glowing blue graves all around different areas.
at the very first grace, rest til night, the hill overlooking the church to the east is one
my main has like 10+ larvas, almost every armor set, every spell, every weapon, BUT has rotten wing insignia instead of millicents, so i cant use two talismans that increase successive attacks. I feel like im prepared for any build except ill always be inefficient doing a successive attacks build compared to someone that gutted millicent at the windmills and it triggers my OCD. it took me like 100 hours to get all this loot on my main, i dont want to make another char or go to ng+ to get millicents prosthetic until i complete the DLC.
>the area with the red centipedes
what is even the point of engaging with them?
Live lion reaction: "Those big ships are freaking coffins?!"
Also I broke a powerful rune and amulet because I didn't beat Rellana quick enough I assume. Whatever and good night.
>Also I broke a powerful rune and amulet because I didn't beat Rellana quick enough I assume.
nah you just reached the Point of No Return, its fine and this is supposed to happen for the story to continue. try talking to every npc you've met so far again
I think the rune message is just triggered on playtime
Is relanalla supposed to be on the same tier of difficulty as malenia? Her second phase seems like complete bullshit and I've been stuck for almost 3 hours now
Personally I think she is harder than Malenia, but I'm not sure how much getting as much Scadu shit as possible would help, maybe it's not as bad if you are fully prepared.
The next few bosses you have coming up are absolutely a lot harder though.
How can I recover my runes from Taylew's Ruined Forge? I pulled the lever to make the giant pipe switch sides, but then I died at the far end and I can't find a lever to switch it back so that I can go get them. Did I frick myself or am I blind?
Just leave them. Half an hour of exploring and you'll have consumable runes coming out of your ears
There's a lever to switch it back to the original orientation. Two switches, one towards each end of the moving thing
Ah, I found it. Thanks
>instant shotgun quill attack that looks like a regular head attack at first, for 90% of your HP
>instant lunge attack with near 0 wind up he can do at any range, far away or when you are touching his nose already
>the jump up into the air then land randomly that is impossible to i-frame and you have to get out of the way somehow which feels like it comes down to luck
I feel like shield is mandatory for this guy
fromsoft level design remains peak
It's a shame the finger ruins are devoid of anything interesting. They look cool as frick
>that realization that the little map is showing the church
Mekyr was straight from Bloodborne

2ND TRY!
BEAT HER 2ND TRY!
2ND OF THE TRIES THAT I TRIED!
no bleed? you didn't beat her
>thought I took my time with the first area
>turns out I missed like fricking half of the content
How
>Did I defeated
I keep seeing white ghosts everywhere and get summoned within 1 (one) second for boss fights.
There are thousands of people running near you and you can't see them.
Just got the pig, Bayle and then burning the tree, it's alright. The damage scaling system is ass though and didn't make me want to explore, it just made me look at a guide, turning the game into a checklist sim.
Alright, what should I be leveling next?
I'm doing a Quality/Arcane build. Arcane to 60?
>183
Stop. Unless you're NG+, in which case I would suggest continuing to pump str and dex instead
>Stop
Why? I got the runes, why not level? I'm not planning to do PvP or anything.
radahn can kill malenia under 35 seconds
lol i guess
The weak should fear the strong.
The frick is this guy's problem?
He desperately needs you to help him kill dragon satan.
It seems he'll continue bawling even after resting.
Just you wait anon. Go find the dragon dungeon and beat up a katana dragon to keep up with the best part of the entire DLC.
I fricking wish I respec'd to use that katana, I actually regret not using it
It's pretty busted, but I found it to be boring. Rakshasha's is more fun to me, but the standard great katana is the most fun for me especially with stance timing buff from Rellana's talisman. I just hate that the single ichimonji is actually better overall than the triple hit unless you're going for bleed proc.
Still hilarious throwing on the deflect tear and using Ashina arts to beat up souls shit.
>BAYLE
He's part of the Godzilla versus King Ghidorah epilogue.
dragons
he's trying to beat the game fists only on SL1
It's actually even worse, he's running a bow build
BAAAAAAAAAAAAYLE
You should see the other guy.
You mean this dude? He sounds like a pervert simp.
Na, he's a whole other can of worms.
Fun fact, he actually is. And you finish his quest by being better at him at drinking gamer girl bath water. That's not even a joke
i just slept him over and over again
I forgot how fun and useful the Crucible incants were, literally posture breaking mobs instantly if they block and golf swinging them if they don't.
can you skip messmer or the shadow keep?
No. You need messmers kindling to go to the top of the tower where Miquella is
It’s simply unbelievable how much Ganker is throwing a tantrum over this DLC. The catalogue all day has been nothing but seething, fricking nonstop
It's literally a handful of people who are fully dedicated to it. Notice how they only post the same pictures, mostly from before the dlc even released. They have not played it, probably not even the base game much.
I knew it was going to mindbreak schizos but it also mindbroke the shitters
Its hilarious watching them scream over GOTY.
The GOTY system was a joke since 2012.
Squaregays need to learn how to take a loss
I would care less about the last FF.
I was talking about how the actual gaming industry was a joke since day 1.
Dickhead.
This is unbearable.
Frick you, Carlos.
Fricking bears man.
100% worth it for the drip
He's actually pretty easy. I beat him with jumping R2's with Dryleaf Arts.
>find hidden room that takes me to lower area
>keeps going lower
>path splits off in 3 directions, keep going lower
>start getting the DS1 feeling of not knowing if your supposed to be here
>ends at a catacomb, damn
>CATACOMB ENDS OUTSIDE WITH A UNIQUE BOSS IN A NEW AREA
trying to stay vague but holy shit, they actually made a map as good as DS1
Insane that they locked off all that behind a completely inconspicuous wall. Mine didn't even have any messages in front of it
Where?
What general area is this place in? I haven't found any illusory walls yet.
Got to gaius and I saw what you guys mean.Took me a bit once I found out that riding torrent was a bait but he's easier than messmer since if you need to breathe torrent can give you that space every now and again. Got impatient in the end so it was a mutual kill but hey still counts. Overall for a caster he's tougher than divine joke, but by far easier to than messmer and rellena since he's "slower" to go between attacks
What causes the game to be so dark sometimes even during the day?
Probably the giant evil shadow tree sucking up all the light
Don't forget to invade and be a dickhead while seamless coop isn't working.
does this count?
>no spirits
You're good
>magic
absolutely not
Honestly, this weapon is the best and is carrying me throughout the DLC. Can one-shot almost anything from a distance. and with the blue dew talisman, endurance runs across dungeons are effortless.
Same size as Limgrave, guys!
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYLE
YOU DRAGON FRICK, FACE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
is the sky area in the northwest area of the map optional?
i found one of the bug guys you can interact with for recipes
but hes just laying on the ground and you cant interact with him, hes behind the church you fight the fire knight Q-something invader
anyone know what to do?
>all these cool armors
>most of them lack poise
>the ones that have high stats look like shit
Solitude Set my beloved
It's like bull goat but not visually reprehensible, I love it
maybe im just stupid, but does poise not work in the dlc or something?
im wearing 3/4 of the solitude set and rellana chest so its 76 poise
and shit keeps knocking me out of my autos constantly
Try throwing on bull goat talisman. Would bump you up to 101 poise, which should help
i thought 51 was the cutoff for pve stuff to roll thru anything other than boss shenanigans
50 is the most important but 100 also does a lot
100 is frick you poise. You used to have to rock 100 poise just to get the godslayer ash of war off because it was bugged and didn't have its actual hyperarmor.
Some enemies just have fricking insane stagger. The lion headed enemies for example in enir ilim like pic related. Out of frustration, I put on bullgoat set and talisman for a whopping 127 poise and even with fricking stamp that should give you hyper armor, this fricker shoulder bashes you out of your animations and every hit still sends you flying off the ground. Why the frick would you bother with armor at this point. Just wear whatever and don't get hit.
Seriously frick enemies like this. They dont even want you to fight him because he drops nothing.
They can drop their armor set. I got a chest piece off the ice one.
try 2handing your weapon
does that dudes dragon crossbow bolt shit actually deal decent damage?
Is there any other transformation aside from the dragon one?
There's a Lamenter one you get from another jar gaol. The boss is pretty obnoxious.
You can be a bear
"Leave Bayle to me." -Zanzibart, before the Age of Reckoning
Renalla would be 10/10 fun if she wasn't able to just randomly decide to spam the 8+ Glintstone Blades constantly.
Unlimited glintworks anon. You just have to accept it.
It just feels bad man, I was so close. I would have won if she didn't also cast Unlimited Glintworks the same second I hit her with my ranged storm blast so I missed the visceral opportunity while dodging.
>platform lowers
>item stays floating
Come the frick on.
cucked by ranged damage kek
The item fricking disappeared. Goddammit, why did it have to be a gold drop.
>takes half your life to start the fight.
Is it just me or is there barely anything in the cerulean flower field to the south? I even found the finger ruins and it looks ominous as frick but all I could find was an upgraded basegame talisman.
About to head to the southmost point now and I swear to god if I find just another cookbook im gonna freak.
Did you fight the demiqueen mother there and get the weapon?
No I basically went south and east looking for 'hallowed' ruins after a guy in a church told me it would show me a 'path to the stars' or some such. But all there was was a talisman, sorta disappointing, the area felt genuinely alien and theres nothing here.
yeah theres barely anything there... BUT
did you find the FISSURE?
yeah that area feels like an absolute slog, you can only find interesting stuff south of it
There isn't much to the majority of the open world areas. It's pretty annoying exploring to find nothing most of the time.
Yeah cerulean coast seems unfinished and empty. The only important part is that giant coffin building south which you are going to
There's a demihuman queen and an unnamed tomb. And a way down to some unadulterated kino. All the space inbetween, though? Yeah nothing.
There's an NPC boss in a ruins down there. Two demihuman bosses, one special and the other not. There's a big cave at the end of the penensula, containing a rememberance boss and an important story character, but you have to progress the story a bit to open it.
You missed a lot of things there. An entire armour set and unique curved swords even.
I love this thing. It can be difficult to get the special attack chain off against high poise bosses but Its so fun to use, especially when just exploring the world.
is it on the DLC? what's it's name?
it's kino, been using it with bleed
Its the Putrescence Cleaver, you have to kill a main boss in the south to get it. But its special move awesome.
Has anyone been using Great Katanas?
I want to switch to give them a shot but I'm worried they are too slow for the ADHD bosses
All three are really good. One in particular is one of the most busted weapons in the DLC.
Which one?
I found the Rakshasa Great Katana earlier and it seems pretty fricking amazing so I was thinking about upgrading it
Rakshasa is pure Dex. Weed cutter doesn't do any Arc scaling.
But yeah the busted great katana is dragon katana. It also does extra damage to dragons and rapes Bayle.
Just how busted is it?
Is the overall damage crazy or is the weapon art just insane?
Dragon Katana does NOT do any extra damage to dragons.
>Egon fricking placebo'd people into killing Bayle
BASED
Great Dragon Katana doesn't seem that great honestly.
The Rakshasa one gives you super armor while attacking so you don't get interrupted and juggled into oblivion and Weed Cutter does absolutely absurd damage and poise against bosses
I've been using that. Dunno about meta and how it really compares, but it feels pretty sweet. Weed Cutter lets you rape entire hordes of enemies while they really can't do shit since it's so fast and keeps breaking their poise and if someone ends up slipping through and hits you anyways it doesn't interrupt you so they will just get killed by the next slice. Haven't gotten to try it against any bosses just yet but I think it'd do really well there too, Great Katanas seem to have really good poise damage, 2x R1 breaks most normal enemies already
I tried one for a couple of hours. The r1 moveset is what ruined it for me. The thrusting is terrible against normal enemies and groups.
So is this accurate then? After rellana, I ended up just finding a whole load of shit and I have no idea where the frick I should even be. What’s the next remembrance boss after rellana?
No idea what the frick I'm looking at. The area in 1 is annoyingly very constrained and the DLC doesn't open up with a bunch of areas to explore at once until you get to 4/5. You can feasibly do them in any order. Putrescent Knight was my third boss and Bayle was my fifth.
Bayle was my fourth*
Fricksake, call me a tard but this is exactly why I don’t play open world shit. Too much boring bloat in between the good shit and good shit debatable in itself this time
This is dumb right off the bat, you can't even get to 2 before 3
Is this supposed to be how many Blessings you should aim to have? I only have like 11 and I'm at the tower, where the frick do you guys get all these scadutree fargments from?
I still can't figure out how to go to 2 and I've been all over.
What SL should I be for this shit? 121, but chunked off nothing
This thing is great. It come as a pair with one (like fists), nice multi hit curved sword jump attack on R1, super powerful L2, scales hard on the L2 with Faith
Really good birb and dragon killer
Can an enemy be afflicted with rot and deadly poison at the same time, or will my deadly poison overwrite my rot?
Never tried
You can do both
There are so many great moments of discovery in this DLC
>The horror/stealh section as you delve deeper into a forest completely overtaken by the Frenzied Flame, with ominous developer notes
>The antecipation that builds as you ride to the top of the Jagged Peak, with red lightning and dead dragons all around you
>When you go down the fissure in the Azure Coast and find the countless giant coffins
>The finger ruins in general, especially the one that leads to the boss
I think that's what i like the most about these games, the sense of the unknown, of feeling that you've stumbled upon an ancient secret, into a forbidden place. I was 16 when DS1 came out and me and my friend found Ash Lake by accident in our very first completely blind playtrough, and we were awestruck. It's that feeling of wonder that keeps me a fan of this series, more than the combat or anything else
What a name. Bye-bye, Ancient Dragon-Man. Wished you dropped your weapon, it looks cool.
Is that a hecking Fire Punch reference?
Yes. But Fire Punch also references the same Babylonian myth.
What myth?
Is the Frenzied Flame actually just one big Fire Punch reference? Kino, i dare say
The weapon art of the sword you get from this guy is absolutely broken against any human enemies, instant massive damage with no way of blocking or negating it.
This guy has over 40k health, was paying attention to my poison ticks
Fricking crazy man
Lol, he has low stagger defense, I just kept stun-locking him with a great hammer.
just me and my moonlight and we'll pave the way
>cropped
WHAT ARE YOU CROPPING THERE MISTER
that was just my taskbar blocking the way
I've got my eye on you. Can't be sure who's beating the game and who isn't around here.
FRICK THAT Black person BAYLE I FRICKING HATE HIM AAAAAAAAAAAA FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE FRICK BAYLE
Are you guys really staying at SL150? What do you do with all those extra runes?
I've been buying smithing stones
Lose them, mostly
I just said frick it I'll go to 175.
174 now and not even half way through the DLC everything just dumps 200k runes on you
I've been buying explosive bolts to shoot at people during extremely thin platform areas
I'm just dumping everything into mind
I don't care if I get to level 700 I'm going to have all the FP
bought a frickload of crabs from my homie boggart
MFs will look at this and be like "yeah this is fun"
The most hilarious part of giving ashes to shitters instead of easy mode is frustrated posts like this
how much INT?
Twin Moon? 72 Int I believe
The Great Katana mixups are definetly inspired by MH Longsword
>great katanas have the non-spirit blade longsword moveset from monster hutner
>these curved blades have demon mode dual blades
Miyazaki played some monster hunter in these past 2 years
Damn shame he didn't seem to learn anything from it.
GET ZAPPED
GET ZAPPED
GET ZAPPED
GET ZAPPED
How do I get over there?
Look for a tunnel somewhat near you
Look to your left. Should be a noticeable slope leading down somewhere.
"Somewhere a great rune has shattered" What the FRICK does that mean?
What do you think it means, anon? Go talk to the NPCs at the graces now.
Miquella did a little oopsie-whoopsie and now all the NPCs are depressed.
Can any fellow faith chads let me know where I can get the best new spells, so far I got 2 and they’re pretty bad (skeleton spirit from Belurat and one that shoots three gold rings)
The only good one, Super Black person Lightning, is in this cave. It's on the bottom not the top, get there by following my arrows
I fricked up, so start at 1, go to 2, go to 2.5, go to 3
The dragons peak gets you some cool dragon incantations. Lots of the really good incantations are gated behind boss rememberances. Theres a good lightning spear barrage incantation near top left of the map in a catacomb
Aside from the new lightning barrage the only new fth spell i've been using is flame serpent from the specimen storage room entering from the cathedral district.. One of the fastest spells to incant, goes high before launching so can avoid some obstacles, lowish fp cost, a messmer spell so buffed by the corresponding seal, and has slight homing. Downside is that its on the weaker side for spells like even charged up is just equal to an uncharged lightning spear, has shorter range and can sometimes have janky homing but in the same opening you can cast a lightning spear/black flame you can cast 2 of them.
If you played the DLC with the following:
>summons
>ashes
>leveling up
>scadutree fragments
>physick
>crimson tears
>cerulean tears
>smithing stones
>consumables
>weapons
>spells
>miracles
>enchantments
>moving in any general direction
>actually liking the DLC
>is a Virgo
>didn't like the egg on Instagram
>supports buck breaking
>eats their cereal with water instead of milk (the way God intended)
>is team Edward
>the dress is black and gold
You did not, in fact, beat the DLC
Respeccing to dex, what other stat should I pump for some variety? Arcane?
how the FRICK do i kill rellana?
the lion was fair because he actually had moments to hit him inbetween his attacks, this b***h never stops swinging even for a goddamn second.
i dont feel like jabbing her once for 0.01% of her health bar when she does that one specific lunge attack for 2 hours either
while annoying, all her combos do have down time
When she stops moving for a second, you snack her like any boss. That's it, really. Otherwise you dodge and/or block her attacks. She's not really that notable, but you're probably severely under levelled and struggling because of that.
run away, bait out her spells
when she double moons into the ground slam you can close the gap by jumping over all them and wrecking her after the slam
if she does the carian greatsword overhead, close and side roll into jumping the side swipe, wreck her
if she carian mini blades its your time to heal or buff
when she transitions to phase 2 buffing her swords, you can completely shit stomp her for tons of damage and stagger her if your build can
Golden parry weapon art plus misericorde infused to whatever your primary damage stat is.
You won't have fun but you'll kill her eventually.
>you're probably severely under levelled and struggling because of that.
I don't understand this meme. She's the boss of the castle blocking the primary exit from the starter area. If you were supposed to use the secret exit to go around her and come back later it wouldn't be hidden. Everyone who says this is actually outlevelling her because she's just shit to fight normally.
>don't understand this meme
People who disagree with you aren't just memeing or lying for fun, anon. If you are dealing such a low damage number that you feel 0.01% is a good representation as anon claims, then we can safely he's
dealing bad damage and he's probably doing something wrong on his end. That's called using reading comprehension, not what you're accusing me of doing and what you are actually doing right now to me with no self awareness.
Underlevelled as in in terms of rune level and weapon upgrades. Scadutree makes a difference in the long run but not early enough in the DLC where Rellana exists.
>Start DLC
>Have already come across two Tree Spirits
FRICK OFF THERE WERE ALREADY ENOUGH OF YOU IN THE BASE GAME
I've played several hours after finding those two and haven't found any more, thankfully. Instead I find shit like a boatman that summons a revenant instead.
So is the DLC a multi-verse/alternate reality thing? The things it does with the characters sound completely disconnected from the main game.
No one really knows, not even the devs.
No. Marika just sealed away the land where the DLC takes place. She basically did it to hide Mesmer along with her hometown and all her deus vult crusade holy war shit along with the god gate.
I can't find the maps in in the NW and S/SE part of the map
Oh no. I don't like this place.
Ay yo what the frick Torrent?
If you knew where he was, you'd be afraid too.
>TORRENT is scared when he's willing to fight an actual god with you
Oh frick oh shit you gotta get out of there anon
>I like the meta implication of including this message in the same update where they enabled torrent in the elden beast fight
the fort with the explosive barrels is insufferable
This game is fricking stupid.
I'm sick to death of all the boring ass shadow realm Black folk more than I am of the slimes.
How the frick do you get down the cliffs to the red area?
No idea about what getting down from somewhere but you get to the red forest area through a fork in the road that leads to either the dragon area or the red forest area.
You get to the red area from the giant dragon. You get there through the Dragon Pit
>5 caves already marked for exploration
>too busy exploring overworld
This DLC had some fricking sick boss intro cutscenes. They are always some of the best things about From games, but the Frenzied Flame Lord and Radahn phase transition cutscenes have to be some of the best in the series. Hell, Miquella even holds his hand up with two three fingers up and two down like Jesus, it's fricking kino
>had massive problems with divine dancing beast on blessing lvl 2
>went to explore instead
>came back on blessing level 5
>absolutely destroyed him this time
This difficulty setting mechanic is pretty based
Metyr's theme is so fricking sick, i'm usually very ambivalent towards the music in this series but they cooked this time
Highly disappointed with the legacy dungeons. I don’t know why no one is talking about them. The core of all these games are the levels
I find them meh too. They're painfully short and simple.
They were all a bit too short honesty, but i did really like the specimen storage tower or whatever it's called. It was very Seath's Arquives/Bloodborne Research Halls-pilled
I had more fun with the catacombs and gaols than any of the legacy dungeons
I actually prefer the legacy dungeons being this short if it means the open world exploration is as great as it is in this DLC.
The scarlet rot boss was surprisingly easy for this dlc
Yeah, got me a couple times but it was fun. It must've been designed independently from the other bosses, by a sane person
Any kind of large boss is fricking cancer to fight with this piece of shit lock on camera
Not at all, the camera pulls back when you lock onto a big enemy.
And of the boss ever obstructs the camera, it that part of him will become transparent, like walls in FO1.
If you're having issues, it's because you locking on to the head of a boss and going completely under him instead of staying face to face, lock on to the legs of you go under then switch back to the head when you're going in for some hits.
SotE has made me break my moral code of never respeccing. Goddamn I keep wanting to use different builds with all of the new shit.
Your moral code was dumb and you shouldn't have any qualms with respeccing.
I'm autistic and typically swore by doing a whole playthrough with a single build so I get the "full experience" of said build.
But with ER's base game being the size that it already is, now combined with the dlc being almost a new fricking game, I don't think I have enough time on Earth to do that many runs.
Did the Ancient Zaun area before even finding Jagged Peak. For some reason early on, it felt impossible to find the entrance to that mountain even though it was dead center in every establishing shot.
Didn't figure it out until I saw a streamer get there in like the first 4 hours of their playthrough which made me think I missed something early on and sure enough
is bayle chan harder than rellana or some other bullshit boss?
Bayle is way harder.
Is the west side of the Shadow Keep supposed to be one of the last areas?
Yes. It leads to Miquella and Radahn. Better explore the eastern side.
Oh shit, okay that makes sense.
opinions?
Frick honor, I'm playing the game for fun here. And it's still hard enough for me.
THis fricker took a lot of tries simply cause I couldn't even start the fight half the time. I just wanted to drink my physic and summon Talyew, but this b***h did not want to let me have a moment to breath.
Talyew is super fun to play with though. He's like the shield bros in that he just tanks so much. He lasted all the way till the very end of the fight, with Midra having about 25% health left leaving it to just me and him having a shootout with his madness and my Reduvia.
Final hit was mine though, fricker. One stab was all that was left and he came in for that stupid slow swing combo.
He wasn't bad at all once I understood the patternsmostly
Soloed him just fine, felt like a tough DS3 boss...took full advantage of rot and deadly poison though
He has a ton of health
qrd on the perfumer bottles? currently have poison and lightning
Pretty good off-handed weapons that don't use FP to inflict status and do damage at the same time. They all scale differently, and you can't Ash of War them to change scaling, which suuuucks. There are also the spark (fire) and frost ones, I like the spark one the best.
Charged R2 hits twice and is ok.
Running R2 is funny but kind of useless unless you like looking at sparkles.
the aow you can find for them does insane damage on large enemies
what the frick did he ever do to you
CHEATER!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU DIDN'T BEAT THE GAME!!!!!!!!!
holy shit what talismans are you using
don't remember but nothing special, maybe millicents prosthesis and a lightning damage tear at most but probably not even that. It'd only just found the AoW and wanted to try it out, it just does that
>they said I smelled....I'll make sure they never smell anything ever again
where do you finding lighting and fire ones?
also how should I respec for them?
Backhand blade ashe of war is fricking busted
Blind Spot? I figured a move that lets you dodge and attack at the same time would be strong.
not only it let's you attack ,it puts you behind the enemy.
Better than bloodhound fang
How much is there in the Gravesite Plains?
They're very weak to Taker's Flames
101+ poise with fat armor and 36-40 endurance (35 is enough with no Arsenal to get 101 with bull tali) + Blasphemous Blade healing you while you're basically unstoppable = easy mode
Fingerprint, Carian Thrusting, or other big shield + big counter weapons with fat armor and 101 poise = also easy mode
I've been swapping back and forth and I don't think one is easier than the other. If you're having trouble, try it out.
For the record I think 51 and 101 being the only meaningful PVE breakpoints is really gay and moronic
So, was Nanaya actually trying to help Midra, or was she just an evil Frenzy b***h that was trying to make his madness stronger by having him edge it forever?
She was making him goon his madness. She even has a madness staff of her own on her corpse.
>frenzy lord literally does the jeb bush Kira pose after eviscerating you
BAAAASED
I know this is most likely a question with no answer but who the frick is nanaya? They just namedrop this b***h who apparently was trying to make lords of the frenzied flame all around the place. Who is she? Also who the frick is Meleina? Miyazaki you fricking hack answer a single question
>but who the frick is nanaya?
Female madness gooner extraordinaire
so the bottom part of this area is pretty much optional?
the water and catacomb? yes
Do you gays not know how to stack damage?
Anyone try using Swift Slash yet?
Seems cool.
There is another way to enter the shadow keep? how? no idea how to reach the area to the east of the keep
go to the moorth ruins
look around for holes in the ground
you'll figure the rest out
zamn, even left a marker there to explore it in the future.
lol
They really badly just want to tell people to stop being such whiny b***hes and actually engage with the game.
"Engaging with the game" involves intentionally skipping every boss but Hippo and running around the map hunting for skidoosh fragments for 20+ hours in order to make the bosses fun to fight without ashes
both options suck fricking wiener
Im not a fan of level up systems like this or even Elden Rings base game smithing stone / dark souls stat system in open world action RPG games.
I know RPG nerds love the idea of dealing 0 damage to enemies and getting 1 shot by them until they over level them then turn the tables so they take no damage and 1 shot the enemies that used to give them trouble but its not a good thing for an action game, only for autistic RPG games where player skill plays no part..
The damage and health numbers should be tighter and power scaling from leveling should offer noticeable increases that arent game breaking. imagine if Elden ring used a D&D stat system where the highest your stats get is like late 20s to 30s or so and they dont increase every level, also every weapon uses somber. every level up you get a choice to increase either stamina or mana, by 1% or carry weight by 1. every 5 levels you get to increase a stat point by 1. Weapons dont go up in level but can be infused with stones and ashes of war to change scaling or added effects like bleed.
Suddenly classes really matter for play style but are still customizable, respecs could switch your whole class without giving you classes gear, just starting stats.
All the bosses and enemies could be made with a general power level in mind instead of you coming up to and enemy and doing less than 1% damage to it and realizing you need to go to a new area. No more people getting filtered because they dont have 40+ vigor by middle game, or because they missed a smithing stone bell bearing, which were actually big complaints for elden ring when it came out.
This Black person wants to implement overcomplicated scaling systems for no reason as well as i-swear-it's-not-gearscore system for bosses
lmao
my system would be more simple than elden rings is now
It would offer less customization than it offers now and would not allow people to do RL1 runs or any challenge runs in general. I'm glad you're not designing video games.
>ooga booga im a Black person ooga
it would make RL1 runs more feasable because there is less power creep with stats you dumb Black person. and you would have plenty of customization, stats just would go up to like 99 each. your reading comprehension is american Black person level.
>wouldnt** go up to like 99 each
why am i talking to a homosexual that cant read?
Your idea is shit and you're trying to reinvent the wheel when there is already a good stat system.
>doesnt understand anything about the idea
>thinks dark souls stat system is good for open world game
frick you homosexual you wouldnt know a good idea if it locked you in a shower room and started pumping gas
The frick
wait till you kill him and open the chest behind him
Is there any way behind Midra's Manor?
I want this so fricking bad but I can't find it
I killed one with that and he didn't drop it 🙁
>blood dry-leaf arts
i am punch i am kick
where does dane go after you beat him?
back to the dojo probably, i kicked his ass
Enir-Ilim. You can get Dane's Footwork. However, you have to beat a really shitty ganksquad fight.
I annihilated them with stormcaller they couldn't do anything
I wonder what happens if you dual wield the separate martial arts
Nothing. Whether you have the normal Dryleaf or Dane's Footwork on the left hand, you do kicks with L1. Dane's Footwork just has a kick moveset. I think the normal Dryleaf Arts has the better moveset. The Beast Claws absolutely shred though. I'm really liking these fist weapons.
That’s too bad I’d kinda been hoping the power stanced martial art would be like bone fist, wishful thinking on my end
just 2hand either of them?
I think what he was trying to say that maybe the movesets would combine into something else or work differently in conjunction with them but they don't.
Yeah this one, I thought they’d merge or something.
Gotta go to DS2 for that level of kino.
what the frick does "healing required ahead" mean and why do so many messages repeat that
If you reddit upvote a message, it gives whoever made it a small heal. Have you never put down a message before?
One thing that has always bothered me about this series is that the weapons with fancy special moves are mostly for PvP. You're never actually going to use your fancy moveset against a boss because you're just going to get hit in the face. It's either normal attacks or you have a weapon that fires a gigantic frick you laser like the blasphemous sword, stuff like the meteoric ore greatsword's L2 just gets you killed in PvE
Can I summon npc phantoms? Using ceastus on rellana is as much fun as hammering my dick
should be a sign right outside her arena
everyone's face when bosses now bumrush you at the very start and often at every fight just so from can counter all the cheese builds
>bully not so tough after getting molested
This makes me sad
>No Skill
heh
Jokes on them, i filled my wondrous physick with the bubbletear so i can enter the radahn arena, summon the mimic tear and then eat his spinning purple attack in the face with no repercussion
>Cathedral of Manus Metyr
>has finger alien named Metyr underneath it
>Cathedral of Manus Celes
>just has a single Two Fingers underneath it
Is there some other finger alien known as Celes underneath the Carian's cathedral? Or was that the name of those specific Two Fingers?
Probably the name of the specific fingers
Anyone else thinks the start of the DLC is atrocious?
ive really only liked shadow keep so far
The lack of a cutscene where the crusty hand grabs you and drags you into the egg is unforgivable, yes.
Are the martial arts better Heavy or Keen?
They get a scaling on heavy. Went quality though
>leda says hornsent might turn on miquella after getting revenge on messmer so she should kill him beforehand
>think that's ridiculous and she's just being paranoid
>hornsent gets revenge on messmer, immediately decides miquella should die next
wtf she was right
Hilarious. I saw his sign when I fought messmer but I just ignored it. Reloaded the area and he was crying about getting cucked out of his revenge and how pathetic he was. Leda just tells me he's no longer a threat unless something else tickles his revenge boner
I helped her invade him and I'm not sure if I'm missing out on anything or not. I got his nasty worm encrusted outfit and sword though and this makes me feel better about it
From a gameplay perspective Bayle is really such an awful fight.
How was I meant to know I had fall off?
literally the npc next to it says give me courage
are you illiterate?
Yes
>hey guys I have a great idea for a bossfight
>what if we make them fight a blender
>it never stops moving, attacks continually, and halfway it sets the blades on fire for extra damage so it can deal 70% of their health with one hit
>then it flies up in the air and starts shooting meteors everywhere
>let's make it out of concrete, give it more health than the final boss, and give it the ability to string any combo into any other combo instantaneously so you never know if it's going to be safe or not
>better give it a laser beam too incase they try to heal
>but how will this help make the game more fun?
>fun?
What's the best secondary stat for STR in the dlc? What will let me use the most cool new stuff?
Seemingly the vast majority of the stuff I've found has had some faith requirement. Tons of dex weapons and int seems like it got kind of shafted
anything that's not INT
>find this
immediately starts playing in my mind
>it's fricking STR/ARC
ah frick is it really time to respec
>5 digits from all my fake cliff messages
Trolling the userbase? priceless. Especially after witnessing the death spots in 1 hour from each new one i make
The number of times I've seen this Black person's health bar at this exact value. Frick this shit boss. Does it legit just keep getting worse the more into the story you go?
Post yfw >Abyssal Woods
Are there any new new halberds or spears with swinging moveset?
I can't find any so far.
>bear wiggles his left nut
>giant delayed AOE explosion follows that kills me from 60% HP
>mfw I couldnt even see the nutsack wiggle because of an elevation difference and some bushes
about fricking time
>none for Rowa Fruit
>introduces 200 more rare consumable items that don't replenish and can't be bought
I just want to be able to farm ancient dragon stones
I'm blown away that I walked into a random area, there was a single message that just said "chest up" and I looked up and the fricking pot phased into existence only after two seconds of staring. And then its one of the most sought after crafting items in the game.
I love how the game rewards exploration with the skibidi fragments. So much better than a ton of dumb shit I’ll never use.
I beat him 1v1 but bears are so weak it felt like cheating
>drink poison and die 3 times
>nothing happens
I can't believe I was tricked into wasting 60k runes
drink it once more and you will be given salvation
well too fricking bad the poison man fricked off
AHHHHHH IT TOOK 5 FRICKING HOURS TO DO THIS SHIT
I don't know if I have it in me to do the rest of the DLC like this.
How are people this bad….
they go in unprepared with a single keen scimitar
Wow what a chad and a chad weapon
your honor mode prooves bro???
>using a Scimitar
Bro, those are filler weapons
>scimitar
It's the backhand blade tho
Oh, you right. Scimitar looks similar from the image.
>and I beat her
You didn't beat the game, sorry bud. Try again next time.
looks like the backhand blades in xer hands thoughbeit
Those are the backblades and I beat her with them are you stunted or something
Do yourself a favor next time, kill the furnace golem and get the deflection tear. Now you're playing sekiro and all those extended combos don't count for jack shit.
How long does it take to kill the Furnace Golem? i fricking hate these huge monsters you just chip away at their legs forever
You need to make them fall so you can crit for half their hp. Use a high stagger weapon and summon mimic tear.
>her weapons aren't even good
So what was the whole problem then with Merika?
What's this supposed to mean?
Merika was always fricked up?
The fingers were always fricked up?
Why did Miquella want to become god then?
What does St. Trina want?
Who is St. Trina?
Why do they have physical form if theyre from dreams?
Why would it be bad ofr Miquella to be God?
Why'd he abandon his "love"?
Why did he HAVE to abandon his love?
>thinking From actually puts more thought into the plot than "this looks/sounds cool"
It means nothing, wait for Vaati to make shit up then treat it as gospel
Starlight Sword might be the funnest weapon in all of Elden Ring but it just gets you killed against bosses unless you're a SL 1 no hit speedrun god
how do i get up here? i havent gotten to the northern part yet, is it possible to get there from Fog Rift Fort?
There's a spirit spring on the northern tip of it
damn, thanks.
Is there literally any reason to use the Main Gauche instead of a second thrusting sword with more reach?
It feels like filler like the wakazashi was
>Golden Hippo
Why don't they just zoom the fricking camera out PLEASE
>Goes into stun with its head clipped into the barricade you can't break so you can't get the crit
PLEASE
Golden Hippo was the first boss in the DLC that made me succumb to spirit ash use. I beat the fricking dancing lion solo, but the hippo in the enclosed area is so cancer. He's fricking huge, gets up on your face taking up 90% of the camera, has perfect tracking and an annoying hip check so you can't circle around him and most of its attacks is just turning into a giganic hurtbox. The worst part is that when you fight one of them in the overworld it's piss easy since you have torrent and, you know, space
I hear people say they feel like they didnt learn a boss and just got lucky and i cant really relate to that most of the time but for the hippo it absolutely felt like i just lucked out.
i was running and jumping randomly and his spines that came out sideways totally missed me, then i was caught at the edge of a wall when he did his flip jump and i just ran and jumped in ap anic and that missed me too.
The fight would have been way more tolerable if you had more room and there werent debris on the edge of the arena getting in the way.
Why Radhan? Not even a Godwyngay but he would have been better just to be someone new.
People were clamoring for a "Radahn in his Prime" fight a ton back when the game launched. They just took it and ran a fricking marathon and made the idea shit
Backhand blade might legitimately be the most fun dex weapon they added. You can be just like the anime bosses with its weapon art
How do I beat the fire golems with leg armor?
I've been staggering them 6 times to go for the face hit all this time.
get above them and throw hefty fire/funace pots into their head
Oh ok, thanks, guess I missed a guy selling a note somewhere.
Where are the good strength weapons? I have the anvil which is kinda neat. Seems to stun people in 2 hits
Beast Claw
Solitary Greatsword
That's all I've found so far and these are a fart away from the very first grace
Where are the claws? I have the sword. It's okay I guess.
wait until night then go into woods south and find a wolverine reference
>Where are the claws?
You beat an NPC using them to the west of the Gravesite Plain grace
>west
Jesus christ, EAST. I'm so fricking dumb
You have TEN FRICKING SECONDS to tell me your honest opinion on the replayability of his DLC
Scadutree fetching seems like a chore after your first playthrough.
surely you just stay at +15 on NG+
With a proper chudulevel, the bosses are generally meh-good but far better than the base game's garbage
The thought of having to crawl every corner of the map looking for fragments in order to make the fights playable will prevent me from ever replaying this game
without modding out the fragments, 0/10 replayability would rather rewatch the fights on youtube
Great as long as I don’t have to hunt fragments every playthrough.
Scattotree blessings were a horrible idea.
Not a single anon using the beast claws?
I just started using them. I haven't fought a boss yet as I've been really liking the Dryleaf Arts. So far though from what I have been fighting, they fricking shred.
So what the frick is a scadutree? I don't even know what's going on.
big black tree, next question
Why is it black
Scadutree is the Shadow of the Erdtree
the LOATHSOME HIPPOPOTAMUS
>about to kill Ghostgay dragon
>shield homosexual who somehow survived is charging his holy gay shit right of screen
>dismounts me
>ghostflame breath two shots me before I can get up
SIMPLY EBIN
I'm leveling to 200. Frick the meta.
Im level 200 and still getting assraped in ng+ with 10 scadu
Is it just me or is the Perfume bottles shit for bosses?
what should I do with this?
break it
find the real one and bonk it
>Zero references to Ranni
>Zero references to Melina
>Zero references to Gloam-Eyed Queen
elden ring lore sucks balls and miquella's homosexual harem storyline is unironically an improvement
Genuine question: is the artorias story line the best story in souls DLC? it actually tied things together helping the games story make more sense and had good plot twists that built off of already established characters.
It seems the best to me but i didnt play all of dark souls 2-3 DLC just aprts of them and didnt pay attention to story i guess?
Old Hunters remains the peak
Bloodborne's Old Hunters was good world building and a very fun experience overall
>go to frenzy flame guy
>kill him
>barely anything to learn from it other than what we already knew
The story sucks.
>>Zero references to Melina
That fricking sucks my biggest hope for the DLC was finding out who she actually is, I kept her alive in my game just in case too
There must be some item descriptions or something people haven't found yet SAVE ME VAATI VIDYA
Quick question to anyone who has played through most of the dlc, does the dlc reference your ending of choice? like if you picked chaos does anything happen?q
Dont even get to call Ofnir a moron for knowing nothing.
No. I got called Marika's chosen Lord even despite being a frenzygay. Basically, the basic ending is canon.
I haven't seen anything
What backsteps?
press B
Yes, I know. But it doesn't do anything.
if you are a spacing god they can be good. you see NPCs use it vs the player and its a b***h to deal with if your weapon has short range.
press dodge without holding a direction
this is their seventh game with it
pinhead gang
BAYYYYYLLEEEE
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYLLLLEEE
I don't get how you make Kalameet and Midir then make the dogshit dragons in Elden Ring.
Placidusax and Bayle are both god tier
From has some of the worst dragon fights in gaming.
Kalameet was good because he is small. Other Dragons are shti because they are big and all big bosses are shit because of camera.
I dont mind vaati but i think his artorias video talks about dark souls 3 stuff too much. the video would actually be better if some of the dark souls 3 lore was simply cut out. i dont care if it offers context, it comes off as autistic.
So Miquella is like a bisexual incubus? His charm is so potent, even men wants to frick him, even though he can't bear their children.
>tfw Cerulean Coast
>tfw Shaman Village
Its so pretty bros
The item descriptions for the miracle and talisman you pick up in the village made me feel for Marika a bit ngl
don't look at the stats
>Black Knight Eldred or whatever
>was able to trade Taker's Flames with him until he died
nerfed, uh-huh LOL
The game needs a talisman that stops your character from taking so long to pivot in place when you are sprinting and try to change direction
Hold block in two hands while moving around, it removes the pivot
Does anyone know where to get the frog tongue attack?
I can't find anything online about it and now I'm worrying that they just teased people with something that's completely unattainable
Hmmmmmmmmmmm
hey I'm level 120 with 80 STR
but I want to respec so I can use all the weapons
I was thinking 20 in all stats 50 vig and then dumping into STR and FTH so I can heavy infuse and use a bunch incants
then at level 150 I'll put the remainder into INT
I don't really make builds I just did all strength and vigor because I'm kind of a moron I was running around naked until I figured out END increases weight
here's my tip
until your strength is 80+ use a dagger in the offhand, infuse it with Light Give me Strength Art of War which is only a few percent weaker than the caster version, and swap to it to buff before a boss.
Once you are 150 or you can spare the 25 into holy for the other buffs, or Howl which I don't think is worth it at 33
>fighting that weeb Rakshasa
>slam her ass twice while she goes for a sip
>she dies
feels good to be on the other end of that dynamic for a change
