>AMD gets the console optimization advantage anon, they are also the architecture powering both the snoystation 5 and the SeX
It's not of the shelf hard ware is it?
Is there any proof of it being a good thing for AMD GPUs at PC?
>Explain why you still play consoles
1. It's cheaper
2. exclusives aka It has interesting games especially Nintendo.
3. Physical media, I like the idea of not having an license tied to a server that may or may not disappear, making my copy, pirated eventually, making pirating the only valid option. >knowing PC is superior
Superior is very subjective, In my opinion it not having physical media is a massive loss and makes consoles the better option.
While yes, it can be more powerful depending on how much you spend, but that's not why I play video games. >and cheaper
Now that's just a fricking cope.
As is, 95% of my Steam library works just fine and even shit that says "unsupported" usually responds to the inputs perfectly, worst case scenario is that I have to switch which version of Proton I use.
even on new builds something is always just off and it makes me angry. Even dumb shit like CSGO, it would randomly stutter and I couldn't figure out why. Data logging with MSI afterburner did frick all, I didn't see weird spikes in the GPU/CPU and it sets off my autism. At least with consoles if somethings wrong I can chalk it up to "well, that's how it is" but on a PC I feel the need to keep googling and seeing if there's a way to fix shit and optimize it, if it's a problem on my end, etc.
Spend $2k or so on a build and still being frustrated is really disappointing.
>DUDE PC GAMING HAS SO MUCH VARIETY >... EXCEPT FOR EXCLUSIVES >OH BUT DUDE IT'S SO MUCH MORE POWERFUL >...if you spend a shitton of money >OK BUT DUDE JUST BUILD YOUR OWN PC RESEARCH WHERE TO GET THE PARTS AND SPEND TIME BUILDING IT YOURSELF AND PRAY IT TURNS ON PROPERLY THE FIRST TIME YOU SWITCH IT ON
>...if you spend a shitton of money
My PC setup was like $2000 or so. Probably more with the two new monitors and peripherals. If you think spending $2,000 every 5 -6 years for a hobby is crazy expensive then you're either poor or a third worlder. >RESEARCH WHERE TO GET THE PARTS AND SPEND TIME BUILDING IT YOURSELF AND PRAY IT TURNS ON PROPERLY THE FIRST TIME YOU SWITCH IT ON
pcpartpicker does the first part automatically and even checks compatibility. Building it is even easier, like, I think I watched 1 hours worth of YT vids, did it and it turned on the first time perfectly. >exclusives
Thats why I also have a PS5 and Switch. Although I don't need a Switch since I can emulate, being able to play in bed is nice.
I like that they prioritze getting me into the game. Be it Resume Activity on PS5 or Quick Resume on Xbox. That and being able to turn the device on with the controller from across the room. My laptop hooked up to my TV with Big Picture mode does a decent enough job but I eventually run into moments where I need to quit out of Big Picture to consult pcgamingwiki.
Having just upgraded and having to deal with windows 11. If I didn't draw porn for a living I'd stick soley to consoles. This is the most buggy piece of shit OS I've ever used. That alone is enough. I want windows 7 back. Also carnal instinct is a boring fricking game.
If I buy a game for a platform and it does not run on that platform because of some shit with computer parts that I cannot be arsed to figure out/care about, then it is not worth gaming on that platform
>superior and cheaper
That hasn't been true since the cryptoboom + chip shortage
A $800 gaming PC in 2018 would have costs $1300 today.
Yes, I paid that much for my new PC.
too expensive for casuals.
you say that it's cheaper, and I agree that in a lot of ways it's better value for money than consoles.
but the starting cost is greater and it puts a lot of people off
>cheaper
how are those gpu prices doing?
unironically better these days, they are coming back to earth
for AMDbros that is
>AMD
Poor soul, you will always be a second class citizen to game developers and then when you aren't the majority get's mad.
>Goyvidia shill still trying to fight off buyer's remorse.
shill still trying to fight off buyer's remorse.
I'm not a shill, I'm just feeling for you. When a game actually is better on AMD, gamers get mad.

Lol I bought nvidia and regret it immensely.
Fricking israelites shorting me on vram

I play my Switch and Deck (and Vita) for portability, on planes and in bed. But I play PC like 99% of the time.
>Deck
You use it as is or install windows on it?
As is, 95% of my Steam library works just fine and even shit that says "unsupported" usually responds to the inputs perfectly, worst case scenario is that I have to switch which version of Proton I use.
Playing on a console feels more natural.
True brother, controller is play and keyboard is work.
why scratch is so cute

PC has more exclusives than any other console

I don't play on consoles. I haven't touched my Nintendo Switch in over a year.
I still keep my PS2 and Xbox around since emulation for them still sucks ass.
Based I still have my PS1 and N64 too. I sold my SNES long ago though, but emulation for that is just fine
Having just upgraded and having to deal with windows 11. If I didn't draw porn for a living I'd stick soley to consoles. This is the most buggy piece of shit OS I've ever used. That alone is enough. I want windows 7 back. Also carnal instinct is a boring fricking game.

I have consoles and a PC. I prefer to game on consoles because it's easier. PC games can have very weird issues, sometimes unique to each PC.
Post the gif of him shaking his metal chicken ass

Yes, I paid that much for my new PC.
I’m too moronic to build my own PC
I have a bunch of consoles, I just don't use them anymore. No point.
too expensive for casuals.

pc gaming is gay
genuinely, only actual gays play on pc only
