Uhm anon did you just implicitly admit to skipping the option to tip modders when you download? Don't you know they work hard and would appreciate any kind of compensation?
Not really
A. modders do useful things
B. they probably use the thing they made themselves
I've made a few mods and only made those for myself and my friends, but not uploading it online would be a crime
>just entering the resolution values in a config file?
that would just stretch the pic, that's probably what some moron at bethesda did considering the result
It doesn't stretch anything
The text is not stretched at all just the hud takes up a similar percentage of the screen as normal wide screen so it appears larger
>the thicket excavations bug is still not fixed despite being well known AND happening in a location close to start which also houses one of those GOOD KINO BVLL QUESTS that has something actually happening to game world
Amazing.
No, it’s still dogshit >FO4 combat but with server latency >no meaningful choice whatsoever in any of the quests >shitty storage system designed around Fallout 1st subscription
Bros should I play fallout 4 again? After watching the show I'm kinda itching for it, but tbh I'm not the type of person who likes to replay story based games
>I last played it back in Nov 2015 so basically right when it came out.
Same, I have not played the DLCs at all so I am giving it a go now.
Just got gatekept by difficulty so either I turn difficulty down or have to do settlement shit and boost levelling.
Did you not read OP before posting in the thread. Script extender mods being fricked with means all the big mods and mod collections will be fricked and it sounds like even the umodded base game is buggier/messier now.
certified channer understander here please allow me to interpret: they mean that because the game is now suddenly more popular than it was a few months ago it's bad and "normalf*ggy" to play it right now whereas it would be okay before the show
Did you not read OP before posting in the thread. Script extender mods being fricked with means all the big mods and mod collections will be fricked and it sounds like even the umodded base game is buggier/messier now.
That literally has nothing to do with what I said. Right now is a bad time to play it, even if you enjoy the game it's a bad time to play it.
no. fo4 is the worst in the series in terms of story or roleplaying. try 1 if you have not played it yet otherwise stick to 3 or NV or both with tale of two wastelands. 76 is also great if you have friends to jump in with.
I started playing it again maybe a week before the show cameo out. Just wandering around since the actual story of the game is lackluster to me.
Then the show comes out and I was 50/50 on it. I liked that they tried to make it fit with the series, but I fricking hate that they disregarded the lore / setting so much that it doesn't even fit in the series at all. On top of that the Fallout 4 update was going to break all my mods for the game.
Reinstalled New Vegas and been having much more fun straight into the game
On ps5, when playing in 3rd person and aiming on 60fps mode your character stutters and the movement is sticky if you abruptly change directions. This goes away on the quality mode.
They also forced creation club content into the base game which SUCKS. Now every time you leave the vault you get 10 quests before you even get Go Home. Its just moronic all around, bethesda is truly a garbage developer these days, if they were ever good. No matter how you look at it, they are even worse than they used to be.
as much as i want a good elder scrolls game, it would be great if it was worse than starfield. all the hype, all of these years and all of the billions spent by microsoft for two mediocre single player first person shooters with elements of role playing.
Why was skyrim next gen a total revamp in fallout 4's updated engine with new lighting and assets but this shit is just a upscale and still manages to break the whole game?
Are there any fun laser weapons in this game? I just came from New vegas where I played rifles and assault rifles and I want some variation. Considering between shotguns and laser guns.
Was legit hoping for a Skyrim Special Edition level of an upgrade (even that wasn't much). They couldn't even do that and the game released 10 years ago. LMAO.

wow just wow

oh and lets not forget modders changing completely random unrelated things to their preference and not telling anyone at all and other weird bullshit like that

holy shit anon, if you're this moronic just stick to Nexus
I'm on a 4090 and the game ran better before this so called next-gen patch, lol. Especially the alpha transparency on the tree branches is causing massive fps drops that didn't happen before.
Why couldn't they just have a seperate version on steam like how old skyrim can still be launched if you own it. Then people could have got to play the London game with no issue.
I've got my survival mode modlist working fine now (PS5, so so there's no broken mods that need the script extender to be updated) but it's just missing one thing, the mod that I kept seeing recommended.

It's in so many recommended lists, but it's no longer available on the bethesda.net for ps4/ps5. Did some digging and it turns out he removed it from there just because "it wasn't getting enough likes"... why are modern modders like this?
Now the only trace of it on there is a german translated version for xbox someone else uploaded
I have nexus fatigue
why can't these Black folk just make a good game instead of letting the community of troons do it with 500 different parts you have to reassemble yourself

sorry sweaty but I pirate my mods ;^)
Not really
A. modders do useful things

I've made a few mods and only made those for myself and my friends, but not uploading it online would be a crime
I heard that it also stretches it completely off the screen making the character creation a nightmare because you can't see the ui.
So yeah typical Bethesda shit

at this point this isn't typical, there's kids out there with little experience that do better

at this point if they could just steal some mod that would be better
Yes
They are constantly rewarded for being shit, why they should ever put any effort?
Im having more fun with fallout 76 than 4
Is that legit good now?
No, but it has pretty solid enemy variety and you can at times have fun playing it. But to call it good is one hell of a stretch.
No, it’s still dogshit
>FO4 combat but with server latency
>no meaningful choice whatsoever in any of the quests
>shitty storage system designed around Fallout 1st subscription
Better than f4 in every way
You should be thankful that it came out so quickly. They waited over a decade to officially update Fallout 3.
Based Todd fricking up people so they return to Skyrim.
is it really that bad? I felt that the fps without performance mode on was just.. not even 30 fps.
>new update that only exist to break mods
no wonder there was an increase on the soijack spam praising this garbage of a game
This level of moronation and incompetence is high, even for Bethesda standards.
reminder that microsoft paid 7.5 billion dollars for this
Bros should I play fallout 4 again? After watching the show I'm kinda itching for it, but tbh I'm not the type of person who likes to replay story based games

no, don't, cerntainly not
Why not? At least explain your answer
Nearly all the mods are currently unusable and theres a ton of new bugs, thanks to the update.
Ah that sucks
Hmm I'll download it and if it gets better maybe I'll play it with mods again
Back then I played it without mods
This is literally the worst time to play it. If you had jumped on when the show had just dropped you would have been fine. Now you've missed the bus.
What changed?
Did you not read OP before posting in the thread. Script extender mods being fricked with means all the big mods and mod collections will be fricked and it sounds like even the umodded base game is buggier/messier now.

That literally has nothing to do with what I said. Right now is a bad time to play it, even if you enjoy the game it's a bad time to play it.
No. If you have your old save you might want to play the DLC as it's pretty good but not worth starting all over.
no. fo4 is the worst in the series in terms of story or roleplaying. try 1 if you have not played it yet otherwise stick to 3 or NV or both with tale of two wastelands. 76 is also great if you have friends to jump in with.

kek and some of it is just totally fricking broken
I'm glad this has finally been fixed, before Invisible weapons could not fire.
It's over.

as much as i want a good elder scrolls game, it would be great if it was worse than starfield. all the hype, all of these years and all of the billions spent by microsoft for two mediocre single player first person shooters with elements of role playing.
>update looks exactly the same on pc
>bricks mods for no reason
what was the point then
The update was primarily for consoles. PCgays were just along for the ride.
Drum up interest from the show and OMG NEXT GEN UPDATE?! hype gays. Maybe also frick mods so they can push more creation club.
Bethesda must have enough money to hire some guy to make them a new engine while keeping all the mod potential of their current trash.
>what was the point then
to frick over new london release date
delusional
todd you know what you did
Graphical updates for Bethesda games are a meme to begin with. They're never going to be as good as the mods that are readily available
>Whole point was for consoles
>Consoles don't even get a boost to the mod limit, still 1gb on PS and 2gb on Xbox
lol
They also forgot to include the quality mode for Xbox and instead released two identical performance modes under different names.
>unoptimized bugged mess
Finally, a faithful remaster
>patching heavily modded games before mods have been updated
>WTF WHY DO NOT WORK
It's made by Bethesda, why was anyone expecting quality?
Why was skyrim next gen a total revamp in fallout 4's updated engine with new lighting and assets but this shit is just a upscale and still manages to break the whole game?
Skyrim is Bethesda's big ticket, and more well recieved, plus it was older. FO4 was never gonna get a lot of attention with 76 existing
Are there any fun laser weapons in this game? I just came from New vegas where I played rifles and assault rifles and I want some variation. Considering between shotguns and laser guns.
i didnt play 4 much but i had a gatling laser with a sight that worked good
