No one brings up the technology stuff, it's like the one clear bad thing the church has done (and even if it's bad it's understandable, since Rhea witnessed the technological uplifting of humanity followed by them destroying the world with nukes and then committing genocide on her kind) and no one brings it up, instead you have Edelgard and Claude going after Church for completely bullshit reasons that are pretty easily disproved, like how if Edelgard simply read the book of seiros she would realize that the Church is critical of those who have crests and doesn't endorse them as some divine right to rule (also they never got in the way of her reforms), or Claude with his dumb "the Church forbids contact with other nations" reason, when he literally just has to look around and see that Fodlan pretty frequently has contact with other nations, like Duscur or Brigid and the Church has never gotten in their way.
