I own a Switch. I still own the Switch I bought during the release month, which I also still use.
That said I don't know why you homosexuals talk about numbers sold like that does anything to speak to the quality of the games. Frankly Nintendo has fricking dropped the ball after 2017. The whole talk was about how merging their development teams to one console would allow them to increase their game output, but frankly their stuff has been arguably less prolific in terms of releases than even the Wii U. And the best part is if you try to talk about it, you get morons who accuse you of being a fanboy of something else or hating Nintendo when what you're saying is you want Nintendo to focus more on making fricking games instead of movies, theme parks, or other dumb shit.
When you don't have any games to play, it's only natural that you'd spend all day shitposting about how much of a consumer you are.

What about Smash, Mario Maker 2, Three Houses, Luigi's Mansion 3, New Horizons, Origami King, Age of Calamity, Metroid Dread, Legends Arceus, Forgotten Land, and a lot more smaller releases?
I won't deny that 2017 was their best year but if Zelda and Mario didn't both land on that year it'd be comparable to many of their other years, and obviously they can't put out those 2 IP every year or two.
Those don't count. I only look forward to 1 game and shitpost online in the meantime.

This is especially true when you consider that the majority of Switch games are just WiiU/3DS projects that were changed to Switch in the last minute. Most people don't know that Luigi's Mansion 3 and Super Mario Odyssey started development on the Wii U.
I couldn't watch the video when it came out because I had school that day, but I remember checking ifunny on my phone and seeing a picture of a wii u gamepad with the sides removed. Immediately knew the eurogamer rumor was real.

No matter how many terminally online morons shout the house on how bad the switch is, it's absolutely undeniable that it's exclusives lineup is more captivating to normal people than anything the PS5 has on offer. The hardware is memed on for being subpar yet it offers a handheld experience that is unmatched by any other device and is completely unique to the market with games that use detatchable joycons seamlessly to enhance gameplay and meet tactile hardware feedback with UI perfectly. Other consoles didn't stand a chance compared to the switch' adaptability, convinience, and market reach. The only single thing that a ps5 does better is media playback. The games are better, the user experience is better, and cost is better on switch. Anyone screeching about the spec sheet should touch grass. High clock speeds mean nothing when the games are shit.
More of the gaming audience will care for God of War Ragnarok this year than they will about fricking bayonetta or Splatoon

God of War 2018 sold over 20 million and was voted the greatest game of all time by ign. Shittoon is a baby toy for babies and pedos.

Splatoon? Sort of unsure about that. Splatoon 3 is coming out when the Switch is at 110 million units sold or so and will likely sell better than 2 (which had a pretty long tail and sold damn well at launch too).
The main thing is how well Splatoon 3 will do in Japan. While Splatoon isn't as popular as GoW in America, it's still fairly popular while Splatoon outclasses it in popularity by a country mile in Japan
So captivating that I can play your games on my PC, for free, at higher resolutions and better framerates AND yet I still choose to player other video games

Yuzu still requires a Nintendo Switch to use and runs like shit on anything other than nuclear submarine. It lacks practical compatability with motion controls or amiibos, and requires you to jump through a hoop to do anything else that a nintendo switch supports natively 100% of the time with no errors. Why would you do this to yourself when you have to have a switch to make the fricking firmware work anyway?

The story is the only good part of SMT1 and 2 which are basically autobattlers. It's not hard being a better game than many 90s turn-based RPGs.

Gameplay is the most important part of a game. Simply by having better gameplay one game is better than the other. If gameplay isn't your main focus can I recommend Persona? It seems more your thing.

IT was well accepted before 3 came out that 2 was the weakest of the three (including TSA).
It's still the weakest. Its gameplay is okay but not that much better than 1. But the loss in atmosphere, the worse mini-games and the fricked story make it still the worst.
3 has better enemy design, better bosses on average and a better story and writing overall
3 also doesn't consist of loading Nerve Shells, pressing auto and falling asleep as the game plays itself.

1 and 2 are good but I'd still put V above them just by how solid and well tuned its combat and even exploration are. Its story is anemic but it's there enough to support the progression through zones and bosses
