What games are there that make you conduct strategy through the eyes of single character? Usually we get a sort omniscient or omnipresent perspective in games. The only example I can think of is warband.

Brothers in Arms
Remember the hype for this game with Randy stating if your squadmate dies they won't be in the rest of the campaign?
Then it turned out to be a complete lie? Why did we let this homosexual get away with this?
Arma 3, especially with some mods that make it easier to control subordinate AI soldiers.
Radio General and Command Ops 2 (especially the former) that put you in charge of the actual HQ/commander.
Mountain Blade
Mount and Gay
Some parts of Brutal Legend, although it's technically Third Person
Battlezone 98
I guess it could be argued Radio General is first person. Or do you only mean games where you take more active part in battle?
Not exactly FPP but in some games (Tanktics, Tooth and Tail, Kingdom: Two Crowns) the player-controlled unit is the literal replacement of the mouse pointer. If you want to command your units you need to physically get your ass to the relevant spot - no minimap, hotkeys or strategic view to help you with that, only some fast travel options at best.
There's also Full Spectrum Warrior, but you do get to switch the focus between squads at will. The view is still very restricting, though.
i hate factorio so much it's unreal
Bannon Lord
Medieval 2 Total War with the General View Camera
https://store.steampowered.com/app/331500/Executive_Assault/
there was also some obsucre rts where you could control a unit can remember its name
i found it RISE AND FALL: CIVILIZATIONS AT WAR
Total War: Warhammer has an optional mode that forces the camera into staying within a certain radius of the leader of your army.
Sacrifice
Hell Let Loose
Squad
play as a commander
Sacrifice
Battlezone
Brütal Legend
Spellforce Series
What are you talking about. Spellforce is your regular rts with the addition of leveling-up hero unit that you carry over the missions. You just zoomed up the camera very close to the ground.
HOI3 is in Fuhrer's eye view.
Uprising
Brutal Legend
Radio Commander
Lords of Midnight. First game that did this.
>Lords of Midnight
Midwinter as well, also by Singleton. There are way too few strategy games with ski warfare.
Kingdom under fire
There's some chink first person f2p RTS game but never played it. Think it's called conqueror's blade.
xcom declassified
freedom fighters
they are first person tactics game
Sacrifice
that's third person
Scourge of War has a "from the saddle" difficulty where your camera is locked to the general you're play as. All orders have to given based off what you can actually see and reports from your subordinate generals
Not fully functional yet
Brutal Legend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pU0iPk3IHQg
Frick, forgot image.
I havent played it but I hear Scourge of War has a mode where you only get the general's perspective, your orders take time to arrive and you only get feedback from reports by subordinates
Iron Strategy kinda
Damn, I forgot how that game was called.
Couldn't get by the part when mechs suddenly carry nukes that destroy your command centre in seconds, quit and wanted to go back later but my save corrupted.
Arma 3. cant believe no one has said this yet
Because we're not children, you underaged homosexual.
I still remember the napoleonic mod for mount and blade
