Right now I'm just dating yukiko but I have to choose whether I'm going to stayfaithful or have a harem.

The only consequence for dating multiple girls is on Valentine's Day you can only spend time with one of them, but you have to go and tell every other girl you can't spend the day with them and have to watch them cry.
You should go outside and try to date real women
>I'm just dating yukiko
No you're not. You got one scene that said you were and maybe ONE scene later that will acknowledge it. The dating mechanics are not only completely superficial they're also utterly irrelevant.
There's literally no consequences unlike 3 and 5
I stopped playing this game and wanted to replay it but I remember the whole introduction thing seems to go on too long
Yeah, 4 easily has the slowest start of the 3 modern persona games
Same reason I haven't gone back to it. I beat it almost a decade ago but you don't hit your first battle until like three hours in.
Wrong board, go here >>>Ganker
Not really.
The only drawback is a few dungeon scenes were a pair of girls will mention dating you and being an awkward situation but nothing more than that.
Persona 3 was more serious as the girls can find out and your social link gets reversed which locks SL extra exp.
It's not moral.
Something odd I feel about this game....
how come all your friends are petty bougiouse? Like all your friends parents own some small buisness or something. The most obvious is Yosuke and Junes, but then Yukiko and the Inn, Kanji and his mom's shop, Ai being rich.
Chie is the only one who is probably just middle class.
Is persona 4 really marxist text about rich kids who have too much time?
It really dilutes any message the game might have had about accepting yourself when there's nothing that you might not want to accept in the first place. Most the time it was just them acting like spoiled brats. Remember in the early game when Yosuke sort of felt bad that everyone hated him because Wall Mart was putting all the local businesses under? Sure wish the game did.
Yosuke's dad doesn't own the store, he's just the local manager. Which is good money but it's not like it's his. Regardless, in small rural towns it's fairly common for people to run their own businesses simply because of a lack of corporate stores in the area.
>urbanite cannot comprehend one single corporation having monopoly on everything
>tfw they cut the Yosuke romance
I feel like too much of a piece of shit if I cheat. Even in games.
It's a comfy friendship simulation game. If you cheat you're kinda ruining part of the experience, unless you deliberately want to roleplay as a douchebag.
>It's a comfy friendship simulation game
You can really tell who actually has friends when they say stupid shit like this. Persona 4 is not a "friendship simulator." It's a "I want to be the cool new kid" simulator. The characters DO NOT feel like real friends. They feel like feckless orbiters who don't so much exist unless it's time for the MC to give them a call.
>Persona 4 is not a "friendship simulator." It's a "I want to be the cool new kid" simulator.
No it's the "I want a highschool experience that didn't suck" simulator
I am sorry man but when the girls basically BEG you to be your woman I cant say no.
>but you have to go and tell every other girl you can't spend the day with them and have to watch them cry
I had the heart to do this exactly once and then never again in my other 9 playthroughs of that game
Everyone you date but don't spend time with on valentines (you can only pick one) will give you a brief scene where they have a breakdown in front of you
If you date all of them and then choose to spend the day with the bros instead then the emotional torture session is like >10 minutes
