How disappointing. Still, good game, one of my favorites despite its numerous flaws.

Don't care, didn't ask + you're 11 years late + you're an iphone poster
you’re sad
fpbp, no other game has the same scope that skyrim has, they had to make compromises
you're based
He's NOT based, moron.
holy crap you act like you're 12
You wish, creep.

Wait a minute that claw…
I think I like Skyrim, although it's been many years since I last played it. And I only got through the main quest. I basically gave up on the side quests.
But I still think it brings me fond memories. Unfortunately, I just don't have the motivation to play it again.
Skyrim is a lot like a bare bowl of oatmeal as a kid.
It's there, it's filling but it's like eating water and your mom clearly hates you.
Yeah, it's a good game. It just has very many problems.
It's neither good or bad.
I did the same thing
What’s sad is they never again used this style of puzzle ever again in the game except for repeating the same “claw” puzzles.
Should’ve had us solve a murder mystery using clues like this where we had to inspect shit. But noooo every other quest was a KILL X or FETCH Y.
Writing code on the key doesn't make any sense
It defeats the purpose of 2 stage lock
They tried explaining it in some in-game book, that it wasn’t to keep intruders out of tombs, but rather keep the draugr in them since they’re too dumb to figure out the baby puzzle.
What keeps you from using the same claw on every door and brute-forcing the puzzle? There's only 3 wheels with 4 images each, if that
You get shot by poison arrows if you fail, which lorewise would probably kill anyone trying that.
i also massively over thought it and tried to match the murals
disappointing
its a bethesda game
don't expect good game design from them
Skyrim was one of the first fps that let you inspect items in your inventory this way. They just assumed you'd be doing this with everything.
It's not an FPS, and it was not one of the first to rotate models of your inventory items. have a nice day, kill your parents first, but please make sure you have a nice day.
Resident Evil used the mechanic quite well some 15 years before Skyrim came out.
Skyrim is a first person shooter? Where are the guns, I never found them
>find a dragon door
>scroll through a thousands inventory items to find the claw
>its the wrong claw
it was a cute "puzzle" that filtered millions on Ganker, it was glorious, sadly almost nothing else in the game uses the inspect feature because the game is shit
Maybe nothing uses the inspect feature because the inspect feature is shit.
>filtered millions
To be fair, the wording is awful. The answer isn't "in the palm of your hand", it's in the palm the dragon's hand.
>solve
There are only 27 ""puzzle"" possible combinations. Even if you end up cycling through every single one, it literally takes less than 40 seconds to brute force the door. Why even bother at that point?
my headcanon says the lock should have like 50 inputs in-lore instead of 3 but I have no evidence to back that up
was too hard for me, got filtered. i hate puzzles so much. yes i dropped out of middle school
I just tcl through it because I can't be bothered
Anyone that had an issue with this most simple of quests should be euthanized, you are too stupid to exist.
in all seriousness why did so many people struggle with this?
>NOOOO THE ANSWER WAS ON THE CLAW AND NOT THE MURAL THE ANSWER I WANTED ISN'T THE ANSWER I GOT NOOOO
IT'S BAD GAME DESIGN BAD BAD GAME DESIGN
