I literally played the entire game on normal and hard and never experienced a single crash. I even used some mods (none of which fixed bugs, just changed assets) and the game didn't even stutter.
It literally works on my machine.

Well if your playthrough was still new I'd advise turning off online features since that seems to fix crashing for most people I've talked to but oh well.
My game crashed 0 times. Even if it's a bad port, it's a bad port of a very, very old game. You must be playing on a fricking toaster.

No, seriously, I was having constant crashes in pretty much every game I played for a solid year or so until a few months ago when I tried updating my bios and 99% of my crashes went away.
one crash in Kanji's dungeon put me in a paranoid saving spree for the rest of the game, but it never crashed again

This is the biggest "works for me" game ever, I've got 140 hours on it and modded it and there's no crashes at all during all those hours
Weird cause for me the only issue I had was actually starting the game. Everytime I wanted to play it was a gamble on whether it would get past the initial loading.

The very first build without Denuvo and by extension no bugfixing updates worked perfectly fine on my 3rd world tier PC from beginning to end.
