Praying this gets subbed, Arino's RE1 playthrough was peak GCCX.
Dont forget the latest sub.

Shinobi or Hagane. Those are two of the biggest Ninja games they put off, and recently they did Shinobi III on stream after doing Streets of Fire II then challenging it.
>Streets of Fire II
Streets of Rage 2
streets of fire was the film.
He's not played a single Shinobi game? That's surprising.
Shadow Dancer in 2014.

And the Arino's Challenge 1+2 Replay livestream on Sunday.
The stream starts in about three hours.
It's started. Anyone watching?
is this live or pre-recorded?
It's live right now.
yes, is it a livestream or a pre-recorded video that goes live?
It's live right now.
It is not just a youtube premiere. It's happening live right now.
so it's possible that they might see me typing "big ogawa Nippon milkers" in the chat?
Some minor staffer might.
will ogawa show up?
Only her feet
Arino-bros... the Downtown Nekkestu game looks pretty lackluster. Can we survive with this? It only hsa the novelty of hearing Arino sound clips. How could this have happened? Will they ever challenge the real game at some point?!
>yet another samey floor in this building with exactly 4 enemies to beat before he can move forward
I think even Arino is getting bored of this shit.
It lacks the zip and pop of Downtown Nekketsu, which is all about dashing and running and finding new stages, new shops, and new npcs.
You're forgetting that there's two entire games on the cart that are pretty decent. I'm looking forward to playing.
Inotani still has the skillz. He was one of the best ADs ever.
>Kaga has gotten so fat he can't button his jacket
Jesus christ, also what was up with his pants?
Has Arino ever played Pokemon on an episode? I feel like it's something he might enjoy.
He played through Red/Green in some youtube videos in 2016.
He played Pokemon Snap
There was a Nintendo Channel series where he beat Pokemon Red and Blue and collected all 151 pokemon.
Yes, even Mew.
How did he get a mew? Did Nintendo personally hook him up?
Someone from game freak came by and had Arino battle him to get the Mew
Technically
>Someone from game freak
It was Shigeki Morimoto, the creator of Mew.
In season 1, they did an interview with the creator of pokemon and apparently it was one of his only video interviews.
He also scammed Arino out of a pokemon
I want a Revenge of Shinobi playthrough so bad. The highway level is a ball buster. And the subway is cool af. And it has Godzilla and Spiderman and The Hulk who is also The Terminator. Plus I want to see if he can figure out the final boss cause it took me a couple times to realize how do it properly because I would just spam my kamikaze jutsu and then go all in with lightning shield to try and end the match as fast as possible.
Licensing nightmare, especially if they did the first release. They wouldn't be able to show the box or the manual or the title screen, they wouldn't be able to do a game giveaway after the challenge, they'd probably blur out or skip showing all of those enemies and Batman and Rambo, they'd take out any time Arino mentions any of that stuff or Kage no Gundan or Sonny Chiba, the episode might never make it into a DVD set, etc. Maybe they could do a later revision but no guarantees.
Yes, it is a landmine, which is why it hey did Shinobi III on stream. They will likely just skip legend of shinobi altogether.
They will probably do Shinobi III and Shinobi X to make us for it.
That might be the most severe example, but can anyone think of other games that they'd never do because of such serious licensing hassles?
Tony Hawk games maybe?
alone in the dark subs when
They haven't done that game.
Started watching today, this show is pretty cool so far
Are you starting from S1 or choosing episodes?
I never did watch S1, I understand it's a very different format.
Starting with S1
so, like, do you have any of this stuff actually subbed?
yeah
where? cuz both the episodes i downloaded from the pastebin aren't
nvm, i found the links
Imagine watching subs
私の日本語は上手ではありません
Yeah mine either.
Just watch more Arino. Soon it starts to make sense. The real problem comes from listening to people NOT on TV who don't have to speak clearly and slur/shorten every word they can into an unrecognizable jumble of sounds.
Why are the ADs so dysfunctional? I've hear stories of them fighting each other and passing out drunk at work.
Arino bros…
I can't wait to watch the documentary episode. If I'm lucky maybe the camera landed on me for a second.
There was a fat neckbread yt for a second was that you?
>There was a fat neckbread yt for a second was that you?
LOL post it.
is that the documentary or the live stream? Not toooo bad, but needs to cut cals and lift weights.
>ゲームセンターCX #372
It's the documentary.
How popular is this show in Japan?
Modestly. Just see how he's able to fill arenas.
How popular are shows that air at midnight generally
New eps on Midnight, but they play an assortment of re-runs at different times.
So I'm new to GCCX, and I was wondering:
Is there a reason that only a selection of episodes have been subbed? Does it just take too long to sub every episode? The show has been around so long that I find it surprising that the entire series isn't subbed / subbers haven't kept up with the current airing episodes.
That's a good question actually, I never really thought about it but it does seem other Japanese shows, or at least Anime get faster subs.
Maybe its just a more niche TV show for western audiences?
Anime subs are usually ripped straight from CrunchyRoll etc nowadays.
The reason why anime gets subbed so fast even before it all became corporate was because it's easy to understand, not as much monologing and narration, and only 25 minutes long.
A GCCX is full of weird accents, full of narration and twice as long.
Anime
>20 minutes without intro and outro
>50% is action scenes without any dialogue
>Way more mainstream therefore higher demand
vs GCCX
>56 minutes without intro and outro
>100% talking due to constant narration
>text elements and on screen captions that must be subbed and edited
>regional accents and based on Japanese comedy
>20 year old niche show that maybe has a few thousands viewers in the entire English sphere
Is it not obvious why this show has slower subbing output compared to anime?
>a few thousands viewers in the entire English sphere
He should do more roadtrip episodes, much less boring than the regular episodes.
honest question
is kansai actually that obscure?
it seems like it gets used a lot in anime and vidya so it wouldnt be too off-base for most translators with a little experience
or is it just that arino has the accent really really strong or something?
Kansaiben isn't obscure at all and most of what Arino says is just standard Japanese.
You have to understand: fan translators (of anything) just suck in general and rely on machine translation. Anyone who's fluent would just watch the show in it's original language and not bother to make English subs. These guys make subtitles because they're incapable of watching it without subtitles.
It's a mix of being too niche to maintain a healthy English-speaking community and the show itself being far more demanding translation-wise than your average 20-minute anime episode.
>Game Center CX #337-338 - Mega Man 5 (Part 1 [v2] & Part 2) [LocationScouts]
https://nyaa.si/view/1772453
>release part 1
>release part 2 in a batch with part 1
>majority of peers at 47%
>they only needed part 2
This shouldn't upset me but it does.
could someone extract the subs from v2 and post them for the anons who don't want to redownload a whole episode?
https://files.catbox.moe/lk2d3j.ass
learn how to use mkvextract Black person
Marchen Maze subs when?
when's the saitama full show gonna get released
After Makuhari Messe gets subbed.
wow he's just like me
also, sex! with ogawa
>AD's clothes
Are they playing RE3?
Check the whiteboard next to them. It's an RE3 code.
It's kind of freaking me out when they use movie music like from PotC and i think Treasure Planet? Like... what, lol
As an avid CardCaptor Sakura fan I distinctly recognized one of its tracks being used for the animation where the corrupted king gets returned back to normal.
CCS has such good music.
>Pastebin has been down all day
Anyone have the link for that 10gig download? Some movie or something, I can't remember what it was. I put off downloading it because I looked at the pastebin late last night, and now I regret not just downloading it overnight.
The movie from 2014? Pretty sure Ganker thinks the link is spam, but pastebin is back up and also has a hash for a torrent of it.
55C9B72137A0B0CF696F1FFAA367CAA42FFE8F46
>Pastebin is currently undergoing some planned system maintenance.
I doubt the entire site being totally down for a whole day was planned.
>Therefore the site has been put in READ-ONLY mode meaning no changes can be made.
>Posting, editing, deleting or making changes in general won't be possible for a short period of time.
>We expect to be back in normal mode within a few minutes.
This is just some default site message. I don't think anyone has been able to sign up or log in for hours.
Arino playing RE1 is one of my favourite episodes so I'm excited for the RE3 episode to be subbed.
Ditto! I'm also waiting for RE2 to get subbed. I love all three of that trilogy.
RE1 was a fun one to watch, and he actually did a lot better than I thought he would. The fact it was 'movie length' made it seem more special too.
Without saying details, Arino has struggles with RE3 and ends up dying a lot since it's more action packed and he has never gotten a great handle on the controls.
Ninja Warriors next week.
That was one of my Top 50 wishlist games, and I hope they do Shinobi III and Hagane some time.
Inoko MAX predicts another game challenge.
