Nothing. Tried it for a bit because it came with the laptop I bought. I was going to use the points I got to get more and they wanted a phone number so I uninstalled it.
Doom Eternal
Dusk Falls had a great beginning but became boring quickly.
Road 96 was surprisingly entertaining despite the woke fever dream. I wish Sonya would step on me. How did a character like her get into a game like this anyway?
Stray. It's super comfy with a pretty good artstyle
Yakuza Kiwami 2, then I'll be playing through 3-7
power wash simulator. it's so fricking moronic and it's so fricking fun.
is this what people are paying for now? A subscription to play games you don't own for as long as papa m$ says you're allowed per title? Are we in zombo-wombo land? Have we really reached the bottom floor of hell and started digging only to find another, exponentionally worse hell with an elevator straight to the absolute bottom of that? Its gone beyond tiresome. There is no hope, not even the absence of it, there is only a negative void filled with an infinite amount of compounding suffering where the further you look for reassurance the more the industry beats you into a monetized coma.
The only people who care about owning games they only play once are manchildren. It was said numerous times if you only want to play one game then GP is not for you. You are allowed to buy Battlefield 2042 or Cyberpunk day 1 for full price and enjoy all the benefits. I know it is impossible to believe I wanted to play the games I did in Game Pass while I'm allowed to buy to "own" (until removed from storefronts or servers closed) games but try to.
And please don't come with the pirate excuse. If you are a pirate your opinion doesn't matter as you don't pay for anything anyway.
What the hell is your logic with the last sentence?
If any of these companies dissolve, you'll be left in the rubble with some unusable launcher. When your wifi drops, you're fricked too, jesus christ. Even If you download all the content microsoft offers and maintain a wifi connection, what have you accomplished??? Nothing, gaming is just entertainment and you wasted your money on it.
I have a 2 month free trial and it still feels like a waste of money. Cloud gaming is a cool gimmick though, being able to play forza or flight sim on a potato without any downloads.
I like all the other Yakuza games, but I enjoyed 7 a lot more than I expected to. The first 2 or 3 chapters are bit slow because story+tutorial but once you unlock all the mechanics and minigames it gets very open and fun.
>Got XCloud working on my Steam Deck >Been playing Power Wash Simulator and Snowrunner
I'm a believer in streaming now. It will never replace downloading a full game, but it certainly has practical uses.
Nice to know you're completely clueless on the existence of smartphones and don't know how to download an app.
It's not like I use it exclusively for XCloud, but it's a nice supplement. Between paying 25 bucks for Power Wash Sim on Steam or just using my Game Pass account, I'll do the later.
Almost done with PoE: Hero Edition. I was just slightly underleveled for Thaos so I decided to beat the endless dungeon of Od Nua before beating the game and moving to PoE2
If there is nothing on gamepass you're interested in, then you simply aren't interested in video games in general. There is not a single genre of games that isn't present in gamepass with at least some good entries.
I downloaded watch dogs 2 yesterday and while the gameplay is pretty decent the whole leet hax0r premise is cringe as frick and I had to turn it off after the big intro cutscene after the first short mission
To pander to the cringe hacker culture of the mid 2010s. Tbh though all the games have been mediocre for one reason or another. Watch dogs 1 was a massive disappointment with a poor story and didn't live up to the hype. Watch dogs 2 also has a shit story. Watch dogs legion was the 2nd next gen game I bought this gen and the story and gameplay are also shit. There's something about ubisoft games nowadays which makes them so soulless.
Did you guys finally realize that a subscription offer kills the enjoyment of buying and playing a game? I learned that when I was 12 and my PSX was modded and I started having like 200 new games to play and enjoyed none of those, I would immediately get bored, jump to another game, half ass two or three games at once and hate it, then I got the PS2 and enjoyed the games I bought because I had that one game and forced myself to go through the slow parts and enjoy it to the fullest even if it wasn't a super amazing game - once I modded the PS2 and started having too much choice the burnout set in again.
Xbox Game Pass is the same shit but legal, too much choice makes gaming less enjoyable and effectively devalues the games included in the offer. IT doesn't happen with video streaming services and music because you can listen to 50 songs in a day or watch 10 movies a week, but to enjoy a good game to the fullest you need 30, 50 or even 100 hours and your brain feels like you're wasting your subscription money if you're sticking to a single thing for that long while there's all that choice.
There's actually a similar line of thinking in one of the reader feedback in Metro UK https://metro.co.uk/2022/07/12/games-inbox-how-xbox-game-pass-made-me-play-less-video-games-16982160/
Funny how the brain thinks not having enough of something = more fun, perhaps it's a survival instinct from our caveman ancestors?
Think it's called choice paralysis or something.
Basically having so many seemingly equivalent choices (bideo games) will lead to making constant comparisons mentally as far as your enjoyment and the level of enjoyment you imagine you would get from the alternatives.
I've been dealing with this bullshit since I started pirating tons of movies and shows at once as a teenager.
I know what you mean, if a game gives me the slightest inconvenience I uninstall instead of sticking with it because i can just download another game. I've tried my hardest to stick to and finish each game but as soon as I'm slightly bored i quit
Well I have more games than ever but that means I just have to be more selective on what I play. I dont have to spend 1000 hours replaying Twilight Princess anymore
Recently played through all the gears games, all the Deadspace games, perfect dark remake. started skyrim because I havent played since it released and it's nice having 4k 60fps with zero load times. I'll probably play the story then drop it
gaylo infitit
taht indie game about the fox whose name I forgot
that's it
I only keep ultimate going because of the online features. I'm too old to enjoy that library: I already played all good things on it.
How much of Activision's lineup is going to be included in gamepass? Also, does this reopen the door for more games to be made backwards compatible or given an fps boost?
Jokes aside gamepass is pretty weak right now. Playing vampire survivors, backlogged still, star wars squadrons, alien isolation, deep rock galactic, the last 4 levels of tabs.
I'm playing through the dead space trilogy because of the remake and callito protocol etc coming out soon. 1 and 2 were only okay, 3 is pretty atrocious.

I could buy the Yakuza games or I could just keep playing through XGP
Before Game Pass I just pirated so it isn’t like I owned games before this.

Oh, it's you again
Xbox is superior but goypass is for homosexuals and morons.
You are a frickin moron I remember paying $5 to rent a game for a week at blockbuster. Now it's 100 games for what $15 a month
>Rented at Blockbuster not his local family owned video rental
ngmi
I don't live in some small shithole town
We had Hollywood video which was trash and blockbuster. Or the town library
It's literally cheaper than a discord nitro in my region so why not
holy fricking goyim you use discord and you pay for it too?
please stop being mean to others
Most games I've played in my life were rented or pirated, never had a problem with it.
I've had Gamepass for over a year and haven't paid a cent of real money.
I’m just abusing MS Rewards and family sharing the pass every three months.
>dusk falls
30fps on xsx made me uninstall it within 10 seconds
Eh
moving the cursor in 30fps feels unresponsive, imprecise and straight up garbage
Skate 3
Power wash sim
Everything else is boring
Stray. It's super comfy with a pretty good artstyle
Pretty sure that's not on Game Pass.
It's not but it is on PS+
Yakuza Kiwami 2, then I'll be playing through 3-7
I like all the other Yakuza games, but I enjoyed 7 a lot more than I expected to. The first 2 or 3 chapters are bit slow because story+tutorial but once you unlock all the mechanics and minigames it gets very open and fun.
power wash simulator. it's so fricking moronic and it's so fricking fun.
escape academy. the timer is gay but it's fun
Went back to Halo after taking a break from it and holy shit that mode you have to play to unlock the event shit is fricking infuriating
Watch dogs 2, at 60fps with the boost it's nice to play but damn the storyline has a gen-z style that ruins the (not so good) first
It's janky and unpolished, but I like it a lot. Reminds me of the PS2 Tomb Raiders.
Do anyone here play DayZ?
>played for couple hours
>can’t find food or water
>no players
Aaaaaaaa I want to have fun running in a gang
>Got XCloud working on my Steam Deck
>Been playing Power Wash Simulator and Snowrunner
I'm a believer in streaming now. It will never replace downloading a full game, but it certainly has practical uses.
>Got XCloud working on my Steam Deck
>$800 streaming console
>I'm a believer in streaming now.
Nice to know you're completely clueless on what you're talking about and don't know how to read.
Nice to know you're completely clueless on the existence of smartphones and don't know how to download an app.
bro looks scared help him out of there the raise him out of ur bathtub
No it helps clean my ass like Japanese toilet.
It's just a bit rude.
It's not like I use it exclusively for XCloud, but it's a nice supplement. Between paying 25 bucks for Power Wash Sim on Steam or just using my Game Pass account, I'll do the later.
Word. I paid 30 bucks for Psychonauts 2 before learning I could have got it for cheaper on Game Pass
Might play katamari damacy before it disappears from GP
Almost done with PoE: Hero Edition. I was just slightly underleveled for Thaos so I decided to beat the endless dungeon of Od Nua before beating the game and moving to PoE2
Still waiting for the ActiBlizz acquisition to go through.
It'll probably complete before Christmas.
I'm still expecting it to close this summer. Hopefully next month.
>Gaypass
No thanks
Back 4 Blood. Any recommendations?
Nothing really on the service that I'm interested in. I don't like Halo or Call of Duty.
If there is nothing on gamepass you're interested in, then you simply aren't interested in video games in general. There is not a single genre of games that isn't present in gamepass with at least some good entries.
>getting this defensive because someone doesn't like generic grey war shooters
No I'm just pointing out that you're dumb because cod isn't even on gamepass yet.
No, the point is that those games aren't in any way a dominant genre on gamepass, let alone the only thing on there.
You don't even know what you're talking about
I cancelled last week, I've played everything I had interest in, if anything good comes out I'll resub I guess.
I downloaded watch dogs 2 yesterday and while the gameplay is pretty decent the whole leet hax0r premise is cringe as frick and I had to turn it off after the big intro cutscene after the first short mission
Why the frick they changed the style from the first game?
They fricking ruined a series.

>literal movie game
>muh 30fps
What did he mean by this?
Halo infinite campaign
The grunt propaganda/enemy lines are the best part of it

Microsoft really is the killer of fun.
>Did you guys finally realize that a subscription offer kills the enjoyment of buying and playing a game?
No, gamepass is great for me.
Sorry for your ADHD.

Dude if I'm playing a game and it's not fun, it's just not fun no matter how i got to play it lol. Just don't subscribe then.
I know what you mean, if a game gives me the slightest inconvenience I uninstall instead of sticking with it because i can just download another game. I've tried my hardest to stick to and finish each game but as soon as I'm slightly bored i quit

Nope, my first gayming subscription service was Sega channel and that shit was kino af before internet was much of a thing
Recently played through all the gears games, all the Deadspace games, perfect dark remake. started skyrim because I havent played since it released and it's nice having 4k 60fps with zero load times. I'll probably play the story then drop it
all the yakuza games in release order
WoW
gaylo infitit
taht indie game about the fox whose name I forgot

I only keep ultimate going because of the online features. I'm too old to enjoy that library: I already played all good things on it.
nothing after beating powerwash sim
Giving Jedi Fallen Order a go, its not bad.
streaming Shadowrun. no discernible lag whatsoever.
Sniper Elite 5 is pretty fun. I didn't expect it to play so much like hitman crossed with metal gear solid.
invasion mode is kino
Thinking of finallly actually finishing Skyrim for once and on a Warrior build, no magic, no sneaky shit, pure Sword & Shield.
Which mods should i get for the SeS version?
Saints Row 2 on gold soon anons
How much of Activision's lineup is going to be included in gamepass? Also, does this reopen the door for more games to be made backwards compatible or given an fps boost?
last I heard they pretty much said fps boost for bc games is done for good.
Stardew Valley, just got to Ginger Island
Life is Strange True Colors
Wreckfest is really fun and runs great on my 1060, 100+ FPS on Ultra.
sniper elite 5
Forza Horizon 4 and 5 gave me hemorrhoids.
Steam
Jokes aside gamepass is pretty weak right now. Playing vampire survivors, backlogged still, star wars squadrons, alien isolation, deep rock galactic, the last 4 levels of tabs.
Halo
You are being a dick bro
digital subscriptions are soulless
? Tf is this
The xbox queen I guess
I'd give her my Xbox if you know what I mean
Cutie
she is having problems with the green screen
>Destroy All Humans
Is it fun?
Mass Effect 1
Skyrim
Hades
Waiting on SCORN
I'm playing through the dead space trilogy because of the remake and callito protocol etc coming out soon. 1 and 2 were only okay, 3 is pretty atrocious.
Is Powerwash a legit good game or are you just meme'ing on me?
If you're an autist probably
i-it's comfy, leave me alone
