name 5 games
Dark Souls.
>Dark Souls
>use a wiki for the real experience
You're not getting the real experience
Using them on NG+/Playthrough 2 is fine.
Messages on the ground reveal many things anyway, but you need good message RNG for certain situations like huge secrets.
>he needs a wiki to understand what's going on
just read item descriptions, frickers
it's like when shitters were crying they didn't know where to go after the bell tower.
>I HAVE THIS KEY BUT OBJECT PERMANENCE WAAH WAAH GOO GOO GAH GAH
>WHERE DO I GO!?
There are like 3-4 locked doors you can access at this point, depending on if you actually brave new londo or not. The item description for the key TELLS YOU WHICH DOOR.
>npc questlines
Doesn't require a wiki.
You're just dense.
Dark Souls
Dark Souls 2
Bloodborne
Dark Souls 3
Elden Ring
why did you only list one game?
Minecraft
OSRS
Does anyone unironically use any other OSRS wiki besides the official one, which is arguably the best video game wiki in existence? How many wikis let a mod track your progression in a temporary game mode to sync with the wiki to filter out everything not relevant to you automatically?
OSRS
BG3
Most from soft games
WoW
Diablo 4
You don't need wiki to complete bg3. I completed it on normal difficulty with 0 knowledge of dnd/content locations.
any tes
FFXI
Path of Exile is big enough to count as 5 games
Caves of Qud for a long time, they merged it into one this year though.
fear and hunger is the worst example
>One is Fandom
>The other is Fextralife
Isn't fextralife dead? Twitch cut off their free money printer
idk, I hope so
Im not kidding. I'm pretty sure it's been like two weeks or something since they went live because twitch killed their embedded streams. They can no longer fluff having 15k viewers and pump the ads.
>twitch killed their embedded streams
How so? Pretty sure you can still have embeds and get viewers. I do this with hacked websites all the time. Ads on embeds never worked btw.
Fandom also does the twitch embed shit
Never fricking use the fecalxtralife
>all wikis don't have the information you seek or have wrong information.
Quick reminder that Viltrumites ultimate weakness is anything that disrupts their inner ear.
Which is why he kills the Atlantean first when he killed the guardians
Oh so that's why Mark was so affected by the roar of that sea monster. Kind of a glaring weakness once you figure it out.
I thought the point was they were supermen without the kryptonite
For your game, there are two wikis.
One is gay. The other is gay.
Your game has poorly implemented mechanics.
me with rust
>>game requires the use of a wiki if you want to get the real experience
You should just drop the game right there altogether
>wiki is AI generated
Using a wiki means you've given up on the spirit of play. And worse, you didn't beat the game.
nooo, how else am I gonna know that buff x grants me a 25% damage increase???
Gl going for something like poe without complete knowledge of wiki or poedb. Unless you use someone else's build you are filtered hard at act 4.
play nethack / adom without one
actually play any real roguelike without one
>You didn't beat the game on the hardest difficulty without any outside help while blind, deaf, and lobotomized? Loser!!!
If you didn't use cheats/a trainer then who gives a frick. I'd rather dunk on homosexuals that cry about wanting an easy mode on fixed-difficulty games like dark souls than give a shit about how someone beats a game.
>you can get the real experience of the same game TWICE because there are two wikis
Ha!
>Turns out these guys have a weakness to sound frequencies
I thought the whole point was they were a race of supermen without the kryptonite?
>game doesn't explain how the mechanics work
>You have to browse forums until you find a post from 2002 that explains how the game works
>it's completely unintuitive and filled with secret pitfalls
Dedicated Wikis > Wikidots >>>>>>>>>> Wikia >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fextralife
>read both
>one wiki has significantly more interesting trivia than the other
>i have found the superior wiki
>wikia has comments enabled
>it’s just full on moronation
>struggling with hard boss
>check wiki
>"the boss is weak against the pee pee poo poo spell so use it"
>use the pee pee poo poo spell
>lose harder
>pee pee poo poo spell was nerfed and the wiki is out of date
>admins abandoned the main wiki
>it's vandalized beyond repair
just don't use the Fandom wikis
no game requires a wiki, what are you talking about?
Terraria
>go to runescape wiki
>search for wikia
>redirected to dung
i know which one is the real wiki
I like the show, but why so many threads? Are Ganker and Ganker unfriendly to Invincible posters?
I think it's a neat show, waiting for the other half of season two.
No.
You're to experience the game on your own until you hit a wall that you genuinely can't get through, then you either solve that wall, or start anew and THEN use wiki to perfect your performance.
You won't enjoy the game as much if you load up on information of it beforehand. Getting a true first time experience is how you decide whether you like the game or not. Once you're hooked, that's when you deepen your knowledge.
how exactly did he frick a ant and the child turned out purple human how the frick does that make any fricking sense?
Dominant genes bro, that purple kid is like 80% him.
>game requires you to read developer emails and forum posts from the 90s to get the real experience
>innocuous phrase/item/etc is listed as a reference under "Trivia"
Bug Sex
