Yeah, I'm tired of white male protagonists, too.

Especially when they come from a white male country! All games made from a majority white country should feature black protagonists because that makes sense.

        Name one white male country.

    But what's the metric?

MGS seems kind of preachy in this day and age, although it's still an interesting plot regardless.

      >But what's the metric?
Metal Gear Solid presents a realistic and sensible opposition to the messages and themes it tries to establish. The villains are "wrong" in that they are the antagonists, but you can easily see how they arrived to the point they did and why they think the things they do. In some cases they're not even entirely wrong, and are simply using abhorrent methods to achieve a fairly benevolent end. A shitty political game, or any political piece whatsoever is devoid of nuance. Modern Wolfenstein is a good example of a game where your opposition is unbelievable in their evil and totally one-dimensional, the politics present in the game have zero lasting power because it's a hamfisted allusion to current day twitter politics and zoomer rioters as opposed to more widely applicable themes, and double points for all of the protagonists being horrendously unlikable people unless your politics directly align with them.

      Also, I hate black people.

      Most of Nintendo.
      Anything that's not American really.
Although American sports games and arcade games are usually not political.
Anything American with a story to tell is usually politically motivated.

If the game is fun, I'm gonna play it. Is this not what you guys do already? Anything else, like the creators views or political affiliation, whether I agree with them or not, is irrelevant.

/misc/ also counts as agenda forcing. But they aren't doing it as much currently because the left is currently in charge and winning. I rarely see a nazi game that gets released without being canceled, relative to left wing games.
