Asura's Wrath is legitimately incredible as a sort of interactive anime if you're into absolutely insane over the top dumb hype bullshit.
But it is really more of an interactive anime then a game: What gameplay sections do exist are fairly shallow 3d action game and rail shooter sections, and a lot of the combat is sort of pointless filler with no name Enemies. But the QTE sequences and cutscenes are legitmately extremely well animated and coregraphed, and it's very entertaining to watch the sheer insane spectacle they have and how over the top and dramatic you have these larger then life gods butting heads with Asura being this fricking rage filled meathead, and honestly you get pretty invested in the characters and their relationships and issues: Asura is downright pretty sympathetic by the end.
The visual design and worldbuilding is also pretty neat.

Even without feats based off gods etc Asura is basically a planet breaker/mid tier DBZ character. Kratos is simply on par with Dante. Powerful and hard to kill but not really blowing up buildings.
