You're in luck because that's the most common Elf trope used in /vst/ & vidya in general. Either Drow or Druchii-like Dark Elves are a bit more common and the Noldor/Melnibonean inspired "High Elf" archetype is the rarest of them all.
Age of Wonders series: "Elves" from I and II (don't play II "The Wizard's Throne", just play "Shadow Magic" instead) are archetypal Wood Elves but AoW III merges the Wood and Dark Elves of the prev titles into "High Elves" but you can play them with the Archdruid class to get as close to Wood Elves with nature-themed class-specific unit etc. High quality unit mods like "Chivalrous Intentions" bring back Wood Elfy units from prev titles like the "Glade Runner" (nice pun/reference) and the "Sylvan Ranger" etc.
The "Warlord" mod for Caster of Magic for Windows (sort of a Master of Magic remake/new engine) adds Ranger and Druid units to the High Elf race and they already had tree houses and sheeit. Superb mod to a superb game btw and I really love this race as it can do it all with a mixed economy/military gameplay.
Elves from the Disciples 2 expansion "Rise of the Elves" are p much Wood Elves. There's a "Savage Elf" and "Noble Elf" distinction but they all p. much conform to the WE archetype.
All HoMM Elves are Wood Elf style except for the Dork Elves of V and onwards. Sylvan of HoMMV are a p. cool completely Wood Elf styled faction.
Life faith from Lords of Magic are p. much Wood Elves more closely resembling the Lothlorien style "highly magical & fae-like" Elves. Some p.cool design + Dryads, Unicorns & Pegasi.
The followers of Persephone from Sacrifice are quite Elvish & Nature/Life themed although they're not explicitly Elves.
All of the Warlords Battlecry games have Wood Elves (the old turn based games also have them). The prettiest ones with the most amount of units are the ones from WBCIII using the latest patches that improves the aesthetics of their buildings.
Spellforce 3 (also the previous games but 3 has the prettiest graphixx) Elves = 100% Wood Bois.
TW:WH games obviously have them since the first game. Best Wood Elves from TW games are the ones from the LotR mods for Med2 imo: I like the Woodland Realm from DCI: Last Alliance the best.
Tuatha/Irish myth based Nations from Dominions for the Elves and the Greek/Celtic myth inspired ones for the nature/druidshit but with Satyrs & Centaurs instead.
>Noldor/Melnibonean inspired "High Elf" archetype is the rarest of them all.
A cool example of those would be the Arethi Elves from Warlock - Master of the Arcane and Warlock II.
got any genres you're looking for?
off the top of my head there are nature-themed units and factions in warcraft 3, endless legend, and fallen enchantress
Swarm from Warlords Battlecry 3
Necrophages from Endless Legends
I'm also aware of Buggos, a newer indie title, even tho I haven't played it. It seems short and simple, but maybe it will be up your alley
And of course they're also SC with Zergs f, but no doubt you already know that.
One of the factions in Rising Kingdoms is pretty much entirely focused on nature. I remember enjoying the game but take that with a grain of salt since I played it literally over a decade ago.
The wolf clan in Battle Realms might sort of fit. They have some nature stuff with the rest of their lineup being more tribal/low-tech weaponry. Battle Realms is a great game, would recommend it if you like the look of the faction.
Asphodel from Dominions 5 is a faction of Beastmen which slowly kills off the population of their lands and uses vines to animate the corpses to fight for them. I enjoy dominions but it's a somewhat niche game and most of the depth is only there if you get into multiplayer.
Conquest of Elysium and Dominions(same dev) both have exactly this, in a few forms, ranging from classical greek mythological creatures in a woodland land they share, to a necromantic faction where the vines of the dark forest murder people and then puppeteer the cadavers.
Warrior Kings: Battles has the Pagan faction who are these nature-worshipping, monster-summoning, half-naked savages. Arch druid is one of their units.
Warlords Battlecry series (I only played 2) has a bunch of elf types (wood, high, dark) and the Fey, apparently the strongest faction in the game despite their whimsical appearance.
I liked the elf architecture and overall look in Driftland but the game is very meh.
I'm looking forward to the upcoming Zor: Pilgrimage of Slorfs which also seems to have a sylvan theme.
If you're lucky, the elfanon might drop by and dump a whole list of relevant games
wood elves, druids, hillfolk, etc that sort of thing
Disciples 2. Unfortunately, elves in the expansion as a standalone race were done by a different artist, and many designs are quiet derpy, particularly in comparison to the few ones that were done originally for neutral elves.
That was a big disappointment to me as well, I was looking forward to more Elves in the superb art style of the original. It was quite hit or miss though; some of them were quite good & closer to the style of the original: Sentry (my fav), Warden, Channeler and Sylph were quite good. I kinda like the savage & darker style of the Hunter and Brigand too even tho they're a bit meh and with a different style. Not an Elf but I absolutely adore the artwork of the Centaur Savage - you can see the berserker madness in his eyes.
I like wood elves

Have played and enjoyed the first two
Hijacking thread to request as well, what about games where I can play as bugs?

Swarm from Warlords Battlecry 3
Necrophages from Endless Legends

Fall from heaven has 2 elf civilizations and an entire forest druidry religion anyone can follow
Battle for Wesnoth has elves, druids and woses
Stellaris
Age of Wonders 3 have a druid class.
HOMM 5 elves are hippy wood type, dunno about the other games from the series
>Being this much of a zoomer that only ever playing HoMM5
Pure disgust
Endless Legend (Wildwalkers)
Endless Space 2 (Unfallen)
Battle for Wesnoth
Age of Wonders 1-3
HoMM 2-5
Battle for Wesnoth
technically Disciples 2, but that game is so absurdly grimderp, it's just tedious after a while.
>is so absurdly grimderp,
moron.

Most of good designs were from original game
Any game that feels anything like disciples 2? I've given up hope
I'm aware of that and specifically mentioned the new units regarding how they measured up to those.
My biggest disappointment is how they dropped my boy for centaurs to fill the melee line-up.
Disciples 1.
Heroes of Annihilated Empires
conquest of elysium 5
