Blood Omen
I'm assuming you mean ones that let you be evil, right?
tv tropes is good for this kinda thing
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EarnYourBadEnding
>Overlord
I don't think this one really counts.
I haven't finished it myself but I do know the game has choices that lead to a better or worse ending depending on how evil you are.
I mean, the whole premise is that you that as a bad guy, even if the game is heavily leaning into comedy. If anything, this needs a separate category, however small it might end up being.
Yeah but the point of this list is games with an ending that is evil. Overlord both has a good and an evil ending.
you know you can play as a good guy who just happens to wrangle goblins, right?
you could even argue that its the path your character should take, given his background
You can't get a more evil ending than in Shadow of the Colossus I guess
>The horse is fricked
>You turn out to be the evilest creature ever that put an end to a whole mythology to save some useless piece of meat
Ace Combat Zero
Mercenary route
>Ace Combat Zero
does this game actually have multiple endings? I can't find any info about them online.
It has route structure, merc route is blowing up civilian structures for more money. Although one could say that the protagonist himself is bad and the final boss is actually the good guy, since the boss is fighting for a righteous purpose and the protagonist is still doing what he's told to do by the military.
Interesting, I'll look into it. Is it any better than 3? I played that one awhile back and didn't really get the appeal.
Zero is arguably the fan favorite on Ganker besides 4.
>Is it any better than 3? I played that one awhile back and didn't really get the appeal.
Did you play the fan translation? The official English release of 3 had 80% of the game cut out.
I played the fan tl
Try Zero or 4. Those are the best of Ace Combat. If you don't like those then it probably just isn't for you.
alright one last question. in zero are the choices made throughout the game or at the beginning/end?
Depending on who you kill throughout, the game will give you different boss fights with different personalities. The flight leads in Schwarze and Sorcerer are flat-out schizos on the radio. While Siber in the Knight route is a guy looking after some kids. Anyway, you can start killing civie windmills in the middle of the game if you choose, they will be marked yellow on the hud.
LostMagic
Here you go.
I thought kotor and jade empire were crpgs
kotor is but jade empire isn't
Tactics Ogre
>pokemon firered
Huh?
Anyways Nier is pretty evil in the broader context of what you're doing
it's a romhack of firered that has you in team rocket. There are choices of how evil you want to be.
>soukoku
great game, really exhaustive list.
i am 80% sure this game (dungeon town) had evil/bad endings, but my memory is really hazy so i'll have to replay it before i suggest it next time i see this thread.
i'd be interested in knowing if this game has one or not
Library of Ruina (kind of)
Sundered
Minoria
Contra Hard Corps
Muramasa
Soulbringer
In Streets of Rage when you reach Mr. X, and you're playing two-player, he offers you both the opportunity to work for him. If one player says yes and the other no, you fight each other. If you who said yes wins, he'll repeat the offer and then if it is declined, he gets pissed and fights you as normal. After you beat him then, you get a screen showing YOU BECAME THE BOSS unlike normally where his crime syndicate is taken out.
Also Mr. X is an butthole. If you play single and say yes, he just drops you back down to the previous level. If you kill your friend and then accept his offer, he does the same thing.
Valkyrie Profile Covenant of the Plume
Eternal Poison
Breath of Fire IV
La Pucelle Ragnarok
Stranger of Sword City
Raw Danger has several evil routes.
I only played the first BoF, are the rest of them any good?
its a series that is very iterative so if you don't like playing the same game functionally over and over again I suggest playing 3 if you want to get the peak of the series ideas in both story and mechanics. If you do like playing iterative titles then play them all.
I prefer 4 over 3 though.
Raw Danger is apart of the Disaster Report series right? Do all of the games have evil routes?
Raw Danger is the only one that has evil routes. 3 doesn't have any routes and you can be evil in 4 but all routes lead to the same ending.

thanks, nobody is seeding the link rn tho
nvm
SHRIFT 1+2 and Black Souls have evil routes.
any idea how to play shrift in english?
You could make a point for BS2 but 1 arguably doesn't even have real endings.
Sonic 2 for Game Gear
You have Persona 4, but you could put Persona 3 and Personal 5 Royal on there as well. I'd also recommend Silent Hill 1 and Ace Attorney: Justice For All.
i dont see how you could think that with persona 3. In persona 5's case the endings are pretty underwhelming, you don't make any evil choices beforehand in order to get the ending. In 4's case you both have to level up your social link with Adachi and insist on protecting him multiple times.
>Justice for All
Are you referring to the bad end in the final case? Because that's not exactly you choosing an evil option, you just frick up guessing where Maya is
VenusBlood Hollow and Frontier.
