>New game+ with more XP, gold and better loot per difficulty >map layout is different every new game >loot is random every time >Quests are random every play through too >Loads of mods and other community projects to look into if I want more
Those things are misery if you're Warrior or Barbarian, but pushovers if you're Sorcerer.
On Normal that is, on Nightmare and Hell those little shits get really good at stunlocking Sorcerer (who is shit at melee as is, but completely hopeless on higher difficulties), so you need to watch the frick out for that and keep your distance.
Oh absolutely. I fricking LOVE Diablo 2. But I think Diablo 1 is a better single-player game. Not that single-player is worse in D2, but the most fun I've had in D2 was definitely with my friends
The most fun I've had with D1 was with friends as well. What I get out of D2 singleplayer is much of what

pointed out for 1, they are very replayable games regardless of format.
Diablo 1's multiplayer is definitely enjoyable, but, in my opinion, it's way too hard. I know they scale the difficulty for multiplayer, much like Diablo 2, but idk it felt like a bit much. It was just me and my friend playing together via LAN and I swear we got severely gangraped within the first couple levels. I don't if it was just because we sucked at time (probably) or if it was just the luck of the draw with the map layout and enemies.
One funny memory I do have with it was my friend chose to play the sorcerer, but I just so happened to find more spell books than he did, so I took them back to town and sold them to Adria lol
I've been on a dragon quest binge recently i have just complete v i didn't reckon much to it has an intresting mechanic with monsters but it felt a bit useless to me. so to get point i am currently playing the sixith one and i am enjoying alot more.
Tokyo Xtreme Racer. I love how all the rivals have bios that are so short but give them a distinct vibe. Even though my PC is ass and the game doesn't always run at full speed because of the CPU I'm having a great time.
you are playing with DevilutionX, right OP?
I've been switching with DevilutionX and Belzebub. Vanilla Diablo is also nice to look back at too, sometimes.
Virtua Tennis
I will never understand the appeal of vanilla, singleplayer Diablo.
Then it's just not your thing. Don't really know what to tell you, man
the gridsystem gives the combat just enough depth to be palatable and it has very strong atmosphere.
You just walk into the labyrinth, and don't come out. Makes the game way more enjoyable than constantly going to town a filling up on potions.
Autism.
It's spooky.
Aye, some pals convinced me to play multiplayer with them back in early December, and I've been hooked on this old friend ever since.
It's fun. Single Player also had all the quests, which were mostly absent from Multi Player.
DevilutionX lets you have them now though.
lol
lmao
The challenge increases on higher difficulties and the loot gets better.
how? there is no replayability
How the frick do you get addicted to single player Diablo? The game is so short.

sonic adventure 2 or doom 1993
>when you're having fun and the run is going great
>then you reach the caves
it's all downhill from here
Caves and Hell are fun.
Caves aren't that bad unless the game decides to pit you against the entire population of the phlegm demons
