It's a pretty easy entry level gig. Keep it cause there are way worse customer service jobs out there. I'm mostly surprised to hear there are still Gamestop stores, thought they'd all closed down. All the ones around me did.

Sounds annoying. I found a silver lining at least in my experience with coworkers/bosses not caring/being just shit at their job and that's when you're surrounded by idiots all you have to do is put in this modicum of effort and you end up looking amazing by comparison. I've run into that everywhere now that I think about it but I've also only worked customer service because I like it/have worms in my brain.

Yeah this happens to me as well, I don't mind when like special need people come in cause like people are lonely and I get that. I'm sure Gamestop is the same but I used to work for a company that introduced a loyalty card scheme, had to give a similar spiel and get the customer to fill out a form in the store. Fricking hated doing it, and the manager was tracking who got the most signups and who wasn't getting any. Hope you've got an escape plan

Every retail job I've worked had some bullshit like that and they all sucked, so never again will I work a shitty retail job because customers are dipshits.
honestly, the customers are the best part of working in retail, I used to crave the shit customers because they made the day more exciting and gave you a new story to tell. It's the one thing I miss since getting out of retail but it's an easy trade when you're getting minimum wage and dealing with salaried c**t higher ups saying you should have undying loyalty to the company rather than your own education which will get you into a better job

I don't think it's an easy or appealing series to get into. Gameplay as an JRPG is pretty dope, but then you get into the characters, and it loses you there. Similar to like how people feel about Fire Emblem, it's just waifu gay shit I feel like.

Not actually, stealing is much easier than you think. Especially since we have to deliver cash to the bank every opening and we can just take little by little.
Also as a GameStop employee, the company and even store can lend you games to try for free for 2 weeks. The things that get stolen the most are Pop figures in the store because of the massive amount of interest in scalping them.
