Raze has by far the smoothest mouse input and performance. You're moronic, there's nothing the others do better.

Raze looks like washed out shit (not talking about bloom), completely ruins the atmospheric aesthetics of the game. Its wannabe gameplay is also vastly inferior. Raze is total trash and isn't even Blood. Only a dickhead would recommend Raze.

There are million of ways to tune lighting in gzdoom. Frick off. You can turn it into Doom3.

NBlood is the best imo. It's accurate to the original and runs great at high res.

GDX in second place, also accurate to the original. Back when I used it it had some minor performance issues like microstutters when the game first loads any assets in a level but Idk if it's been fixed. GDX also has gameplay customisation options you might dig and has better accessibility for fan content.

FS is shit in a lot of ways. It's not accurate to the original, it sounds awful (both sound effects and music) and has missing gameplay effects like satisfying gibs when you blow enemies up. Not recommended. However FS has the best mouse feel by far out of the mentioned three; GDX and NBlood both have shitty mouse diagonals as is typical with BUILD engine games. FS also fixes the explosion/AOE registry jank that's in the original Blood due to BUILD engine limitations.

    Never tried RAZE.

          that's depressing
Nightdive went from absolute banger remasters like Turok 1 and 2, to this shit and Blade Runner.

              NTA but
              >did a piss poor job upscaling the backgrounds, losing detail in a lot of spots
              >voxel characters look ridiculously bright versus said backgrounds
              >cutscenes and backdrops run at 60fps in jarring comparison to the actual gameplay being 15fps
              >cheap, ugly looking new menus
              >there's a bug as soon as you start the game that makes it so that you can't walk normally and have to click on objects until you enter Runciter's
This plus more issues elsewhere, it's just a really bad job.

other anon summed it up well, but here's a comparison pic to show how badly they fricked up.
you can't even see the bloody footprints on the floor in the remaster

                that blows. oh well.

Atari forbids them from working on it further.

okay, but how is it Atari's fault that they released it in such god awful shape in the first place?

Never heard of RAZE. What does it bring to the table?
      Captcha: DR PO4N

Raze is essentially a lot of different Build engine ports plopped into a GZDoom backend. For Blood it uses NBlood under the hood.

You don't need a remaster of this shit, just download gog version and use Raze to run it. Everything works perfectly with no shitty retextures ruining classic look.

All advances of gzDoom can be used in build engine.

GZDoom was the source port of Doom if I remember correctly, right?

It's basically a new engine that can also run doom.

Not trying to disprove RAZE or anything, just want to measure the quality of the port before commiting.

All of them are bad and Blood is probably the most overrated """hidden gem""". Nobody would give a shit about this mediocre game, especially after the awful sequel, weren't for youtube essayists shilling the shovelware those devs made before FEAR

the best way to play Blood is Pink on the Inside with the max enemy count and only GDX allows this kind of custom difficulty setting, FS might but I'm not sure. I know nBlood does not, which is a bummer
