NG was one of the worst games I ever played, the entire difficulty of the game comes from being attacked from off screen and literal instant unreactable grabs. They will seethe forever about souls games, but in reality they just don't like games with proper gameplay. Their mind is hardwired to actively enjoy being fricked by shit game design. Their last cope is crying about how anyone who doesn't like the game just found it too hard, despite the fact the gameplay is actually easier than other action games, and the reason master ninja is hard is because the QUALITY game design of off screen ranged attacks start melting you in seconds.
This was my impression of the game as well, just endless off screen attacks and unreactable bullshit moves that force you to just spam roll/jump every second like some spastic adhd riddled child.

Literally every NG thread in existence, they have been beaten so badly in arguments that all they have left is mumbling buzzwords as a coping mechanism such as "g-git-gud" "f-filtered" and other such ideas. Yet the game itself isn't even hard, its just soulsbab tier delusions all over again.

Because bosses don't allow for the fun enemy manipulation the rest of the enemies have. When you're fighting enemies you can dictate the pace, when you're fighting a boss you have to follow them.
