Maybe I'm just too autistic but I don't understand the reward system. You get Jester or that Slow Clap, but what does it mean? Is it actually meant as "you're funny/saying good stuff" or demeaning "you're a moron"? I always interpret every reward as demeaning but then everything is just insulting each other and apparently getting rewards gives you points = money, so you get insulted and PAID lol. And apparently some people make incendiary posts just to farm rewards = money, which is smart but also risks getting your account banned if you keep fricking around too much.

I didn't even know Steam awards were a thing until I put some of my art on my Steam profile(it's not that great but I decided what the hell) and noticed it there. I don't know who gave me it since I rarely leave reviews or comments, or even play multiplayer games. I tried to ignore it but the flat artwork is so lame looking it kinda irks me. Oh well.
I've seen it used to tag someone as a scammer, so if you see a private account with only a jester award, don't trade with them. In fact, don't trade with people who have their shit private AT ALL.
