Every time I support something or I'm against it, it will rise in popularity or die, after I tried gog galaxy I hated it, so this is why it died.

      >it died
? I use GOG Galaxy for all my new games. Stop acting like a moron.

You don't want me to focus on it dying, I can make it brick your computer if I focus hard enough.

I'm focusing your brain to have autism right now.
Heh, guess it doesn't work if you already have autism.

Steam is a monopoly so nothing GOG does can realistically compete.

Their whole gimmick doesn't mean anything because Steam DRM is piss easy to crack.

I don't know, OP. Why dont't you tell us?

    A) Most users just want their games to be in one place, or generally don't want to pay for something on a different storefront, regardless of whether there's any actual concern of info getting let loose or whatever.
    B) Developers are fricking lazy, and relying on Steamworks has enabled some fukken dumbass behavior. The end result? Games on GOG lacking features because "oh we put all our eggs in the Steam basket, so you're lucky to get multiplayer or the Linux version or whatever at all."

    >we're the no-drm store! and proceeds to add games that need its client
    >caught selling games with scene-hacked executables
    >wrapped its lips around china's wiener to ban games chinks don't like, then got in bed with tencent and epic only to get kicked out again

      >caught selling games with scene-hacked executables
examples? I know Rockstar did that themselves with their own games. CD projekt did start as crackers and localized games for Polish gamers mind you

I purchased Days Gone, it's complete horseshit, it's the worst of all open world games tied together with a story and characters I don't care for, I don't get how anyone thought this was a good idea for a game.

Most people play that game for the big zombie hordes.

the story in rogue trader is probably going to suck. anyone under games workshop has bent the knee, and took on their predatory greed personality.

That's fine for people that play games like that but i'm personally more excited for Rogue Trader and Homeworld 3.

I just like to see major games coming to it, personally I want Alan Wake 2 and Robocop Rogue City on GOG, for modern games at least, I also want Haydee 1/2 on GOG, and for old games, I can't think of much off the top of my head but every now and again I find something, I'm also waiting for System Shock 2 definitive, going to play the frick out of that.

    >used to purchase games on gog because of no drm
    >impossible to get old versions of games as advertised unless you use galaxy
    >galaxy only gets worse with each update
    >some games now require galaxy for basic stuff
    >some games now have drm
what the frick is even the point of gog anymore
