I just bought a MacBook Pro M1 (14") AND a 3080 Ti.
It feels like stepping into the future.
Should've gone for a 16 inch instead, more battery and better cooling. Always go for the extremes, don't be a fencesitter.
That said, you own the best of both worlds now and I'm jealous, enjoy.
I feel like 16 is too big while 13 is too small, always wanted them to sell a middle ground.

Well my vidya PC has two 45" 4K monitors, I didn't really need for my laptop to have a huge screen as well as it would just undermine its portability.

The only real downside is repairability. Gone are the days of opening your macbook and fixing it yourself, you'll need Apple for that. Either use a Time Machine for backups or rely on the cloud, otherwise you'll risk data losses if shit hits the fan 5 years down the line.
Otherwise its price/performance ratio is top notch for a laptop, even the most basic models are extremely competitive in the current market. If you don't need windows (or you have a desktop for that) and you get used to macos, it's a good deal.
M1's are great laptops for non-gaming purchases
