    I just bought a MacBook Pro M1 (14") AND a 3080 Ti.

It feels like stepping into the future.

Should've gone for a 16 inch instead, more battery and better cooling. Always go for the extremes, don't be a fencesitter.
That said, you own the best of both worlds now and I'm jealous, enjoy.

I feel like 16 is too big while 13 is too small, always wanted them to sell a middle ground.

Like I said, always go for the extremes for maximum comfy.
          >t. waiting for another 11 inch mac because I can't afford a 16 inch
I just don't need that much power goddamn I simply want a tiny or a HUEG screen.

Anyways, RIP 11 inch Macbook Air (2010-2015)

Well my vidya PC has two 45" 4K monitors, I didn't really need for my laptop to have a huge screen as well as it would just undermine its portability.

To be fair it's not much about apple, it's like the competition itself is trying everything in their power to feel and look dated in comparison.
Microsoft is the worst offender, it's always lagging behind and implementing shit that was already the norm in macos a decade earlier, plus its system is constantly held down by dumbfrick decisions.
They only manage to stay afloat because of their pseudo-monopoly on propriety software on a system that runs on almost any machine out there.

Should I get a macbook Gankerros. I had to use one for work and the UI was pretty pleasant to navigate through and shit, but I don't wanna be taken for a dumbass hipster who buys overpriced shit.

Show me a better Windows laptop than an M1 Air for $750. I dare you.

You are 100% a moron anyways. I don't care what you do.

The only real downside is repairability. Gone are the days of opening your macbook and fixing it yourself, you'll need Apple for that. Either use a Time Machine for backups or rely on the cloud, otherwise you'll risk data losses if shit hits the fan 5 years down the line.

Otherwise its price/performance ratio is top notch for a laptop, even the most basic models are extremely competitive in the current market. If you don't need windows (or you have a desktop for that) and you get used to macos, it's a good deal.

M1 Air is $1000 USD where I'm from... I could get an Inspiron 14 for like two-thirds of that price.

you can get a damn near brand new one that has less than 10 charge cycles for that price. you can save hundreds for absolutely zero negatives. or you can waste money for no reason, i guess morons will always stay poor. and obviously malware isnt a thing on macos, plus it's impossible for it to persist after a reset
              >inb4 "b-b-but youre the poor one for buying used!"

              >preloaded malware

Macs are so overpiced man like Laptops generally are overpriced for their price/performance ratio compared to regular desktops but Macs complete mock it. Want extra memory and SSD space? 500 bucks more please!!!.
A 1000 bucks machine shouldn't be coming out with 256GB space and 8GB ram

the m1 is more than powerful enough to run any good game. itll struggle with current games, but those are all microtransaction filled garbage with muh unoptimized photorealistic graphics that look the same
besides that, any game that can run on macos will do well
