Since that new Empire of Sin might be a flop, I thought we would discuss actually good Gangster games. Preferably games that focus on the management or strategy aspect of being a Mob boss.
But action games are welcome too, as long as they are based on old school gangsters, no GTA.
I'll start by posting a classic. Does it still hold up?

Just installed this and Omerta, haven't played Gangsters in so long I'm not sure if I'm going to like it anywhere near as much.
I'm scared of playing this again, because I used to love it when I was younger and had a lot of time.
But I don't know, as far as I remember it there was a lot of time consuming stuff you had to do that I don't have time for now.
But it has a great atmosphere and cool aesthetic.
Why couldn't Empire of Sin have been not shit.. There really aren't many games in this "genre" of crime family management or whatever the frick.

Gangsters 2 is still one of my favorite games of all time. I can still hear the narrator's voice giving me instructions and tips on how to proceed on this map. I can't believe no one ever tried to rip it off and improve it.
godfather dons edition is one of the best gangster games for sure. i really wish they would have made another one with modern day graphics. godfather 2 is alright but this one is more fun it has way more variety and better missions.
Is there a good XCom like/ SRPG Mafia game? I saw Empire of Sin, but impressions of it don't seem positive on it so far.
