There's a demo on literally every platform now and it's fricking phenomenal, legitimately the best demo I've ever played. I'd highly suggest giving it a try. But anyways, it's like Danganronpa with shmup stages. It's got a cool, engaging story, excellent dialogue, fun puzzles and investigation elements, and the shmupping feels great. Even if you suck at shmups you get a ton of lives to work with on normal, and you can drop the shmup section difficulty to easy if you're an outright babby.

i liked it and will probably pick up the game on sale but let's be realistic, it was an anime trope type game with surface level puzzles and 'investigation' to get to choices that are so obvious but take 30 seconds to do a flashy animation saying you got it right then you get to a decent but uninspired shmup segment

Too Kyo Games is the company they formed, they worked on 2/3 of those games but not Yurukill. IzanagiGames is just the publisher.
Too Kyo is working on Tribe Nine which is vaporware and Rain Code which is maybe not vaporware but we don't know much about it yet.

I've finished it on Switch. It was ok at best. The shmup part of the game is really barebones, painfully mediocre and it was dragged out for too long. The story/dialogue is ok but not that great. It should be $20 max.
