The lite is a necessary evil to ward off pure handhelds like the Deck. It's much cheaper and lighter, and made to play indie games like Stardew Valley. It's not selling gangbuster but it keeps other competitors in line.

SoS has been mediocre for probably a decade now and I didn't hate RF5 but it being unfinished even after the delay between the Japanese and global release annoyed me quite a bit.
It also doesn't help that neither series have had a standout marriage candidate in a long time either.

The lite is a necessary evil to ward off pure handhelds like the Deck. It's much cheaper and lighter, and made to play indie games like Stardew Valley. It's not selling gangbuster but it keeps other competitors in line.

SoS has been mediocre for probably a decade now and I didn't hate RF5 but it being unfinished even after the delay between the Japanese and global release annoyed me quite a bit.
It also doesn't help that neither series have had a standout marriage candidate in a long time either.
