I recently got one from PS Direct after waiting about a week. You can also buy the series X directly from Microsoft.
Both consoles are fairly underwhelming if you've updated your PC in the last few years.
That's the irony of PC gamers. They spend all their time on Ganker bragging about all the games they have and the superior quality they run at, instead of playing those alleged games kek.

ps5 seems a legit waste of money, it has about 6 games for the platform 1 of which is a pre installed launch title. Why did they even bother releasing this thing at all? Remember how many games the ps2 had by 2002
I bought from a scalper at least half a year ago to play DeS Remake, honestly wouldn't suggest being like me, I had the money to at the time and I wanted to play it but I got it a bit past when I actually wanted to play the game and the thing has just sat next to my tv collecting dust for a while now.
If you have a gaming pc or other system and don't have any pressing need just wait till it's actually available.
Nothing yet that catches my fancy besides playing games I already have with better performance and no jet engine noises in the room. And I don't think that will change if these gaming events are anything to go by.
I'm more curious as to why there's no PS4s anywhere and the sites list them at prices that I could swear are double of what I paid for mine back in 2015-2016.
Got one last November, had to have sony replace it as it was faulty. New one works fine but I got a pc the other month and haven't switched it on since. I don't want to sell it though cos of all the games I've brought since the ps4 are on there
