      >Theorycrafted a Paladin Order with a uni buddy that followed a fertility deity, and narratively, drew life energy from the false child. This was entirely without consideration to fetish, but now I'm aware it may have pinged his and, later, mine.
      >Currently running an online campaign that we allow fetish material in. One player has a preg fetish among other things, and their pc, who's not human, regularly finds herself at the mercy of large tentacle monsters or mimics.

Always wanted to play Maiesta. Fetish stuff aside it seems a fun game and mechanics.

        Sure, here's the broad strokes
        >me, GM, male
I am guilty for enabling all of the following. Campaign is that the modern world got warped into an infinite dungeon by the return of magic, with various towns and villages trying to survive in the larger caverns. Most tech no longer functions and it's hard to keep any long term maps amid the shifting corridors. Pure-blooded humans have no magic of their own but can bargain with gods, spirits, fey, demons, etc to learn some.
        >blondie and her boyfriend
A couple that includes the only other guy in the group, and he's a cuck. Currently playing a married couple but she bargained with a minotaur style labyrinth spirit for powers, which deflowered and impregnated her on the wedding altar while his knight watched.
        >bdsm lesbians
The other couple, two ladies into kinky stuff together. Dom is playing a mesmerist dark elf, sub rolled up a martial artist. Sub recently had a clutch of gargoyle eggs after being used to bargain safe passage, and more recently acquired a cursed dildo/strapon that drove her to impregnate the more dominant girl.
        >lone pervert girl
Cute redhead into tentacles, parasites and nonsapient monsters. Playing a rogue, has been knocked up by hell hounds, a giant centipede, tentacles and a swarm of rats controlled by eldritch parasites. Not currently pregnant but she has a magic std and worm infested womb.

After a fashion. I've never played a character who was pregnant, but games I've been in have involved pregnant women.
On separate occasions, one of the players in my group has gotten his PC married, and proceeded to have children with his wife. In one campaign, it was the daughter of a lord, so he ended up becoming the lord later. His wife had more than one child, one of whom almost didn't make it when she was attacked while pregnant. D&D shenanigans happened to make everything work out. In another campaign, he married his goblin servant in a whirlwind romance. She was pregnant for a good portion of that campaign, but things ended before she gave birth.

One character was designed to be the perfect woman and had been knocked up by her designer.
While not strictly human, she was designed to be compatible with many species, and at one point chose to bear the young of an alien who was stranded in that part of the galaxy and unable to find his people again.
After the birth she left the children with the alien so he could raise them and went back to proper adventuring instead of sticking to the softer stuff.

How long do you think pregnancies last between the different races

      Anonymous

      Goblins 2 months
      Kobolds 3 months
      Orcs/Halflings 6 months
      Humans 9 months
      Dwarves 1 year
      Elves 2 year
Celestials/Fiends/Elementals/Dragons vary depending on how powerful the strongest parent is, going from 5 years minimum to potentially multiple decades
Half-breeds are 3/5 of the mother race's duration + 2/5 of the father.

Well, elves are pretty often depicted as having longer pregnancies than humans. Tolkien had their pregnancy last 1 year (probably because he also wrote that elves traditionally count their age from conception rather than birth, so by making their pregnancy last a full year he could have their birthdate still line up on the same day by both human and elven measure), and IIRC the book the table from

      >pregnant goblin servant
did he play an (half-) orc?

had it take 5 years. Personally I prefer 3 years because that makes it exactly 4 times longer than a human pregnancy (36 months vs 9 months), which is a nice whole number. My headcanon is also that elven pregnancy still progresses at a similar rate as a human one, so a 9 months pregnant elf looks like a 9 months pregnant human. The pregnancy just lasts longer so the baby can be born more developed unlike humans who take years before being even able to walk.

Goblins and orcs probably have short pregnancies since they're always depicted as having large numbers and breeding fast. I'd assume the babies would be born rather underdeveloped and have a high mortality rate, but they make it up by being able to breed fast to replace the losses (i.e. an R-selective breeding strategy, as opposed to K-selective like humans).
Dwarves, probably somewhat longer than humans but not as long as elves. Human babies are actually born somewhat prematurely compared to other mammals of similar size, as otherwise there'd be a much larger risk of dying in childbirth due to the baby's head getting stuck in the birth canal. Dwarves are way tougher than humans (and I assume female dwarves are shortstacks with wider hips compared to their size than the average human) so they can probably handle a pregnancy that lasts closer to what human pregnancy should statistically last.

I feel like if you're playing a witch you should be able to roll a character sheet for the fetus. That way you can dimension door them out to have a tiny surprise monk whenever the need arises. Don't even get porgort. Just hire some guy to live in there and make it a full size monk. Actually why even stop at one. You can host an entire monastery of martials to do your bidding. Raise them from birth (not by you) and they'll even believe that the realm they live in is reality and the world you summon them to is some higher level spiritual test. It's like Plato's cave but the cave is your cooter and the allegory is to make it all-eh-gory

her downstairs would generate 1d4 non-venomous spiders a day.

they were in a Drow city where it was illegal to kill spiders because Drow worshiped spiders.

I play a female character in one campaign that wasn't intended to become pregnant at first, but another PC character seduced her and badda-bing badda-boom, a baby came outta that womb. And yes, she did have a pregnancy arc.

  39. 2 weeks ago

Actually yeah. Had a woman join our sessions for about a year before she moved away. Her origin was she was a roaming viking/raider 'queen' stereotype, played a barbarian. In her backstory she was sold into slavery to a chieftan who kept her as a concubine, she learned to fight in secret to escape the chieftan and eventually killed her way to freedom, with the chieftan swearing revenge. She asked the dm beforehand but about two months in she had her character discover she was actually pregnant from her time as a concubine. We had a few sessions where she played as a pregnant character before the DM and her had a witch enemy we were fighting 'steal' her baby from her womb using magic. The story from then with her was 1/2 getting vengeance on the chieftan and also getting her child back from the witch. We did kill the chieftan but she moved away before we got to the witch so our in universe lore was she went off solo to hunt her down.

If/when she succeed(ed) does the baby get magically shlorped into her womb again? I'm a big confused about the logistics of that.

To my understanding the witch basically took the baby out and then with magic sorta aged it up slightly/bolstered it to be used for something, i'd have to ask my DM what his plan was with that. But it was like a full few months old aged up once it got zapped out
