Anon the China Town sewers are deceptive in their complexity, every room looks the same but only in the first part. If you go in the general southern direction it's easy to find your way.
Maze sections are always grounds for either an instant drop or using a guide to circumvent it. If the developers weren't willing to put any effort into designing that part of the game then I'm not putting any effort into beating it.
