A boss guide is basically just reiterating what you’ve been experiencing but in a written format for you to study

nobody else knows what you experienced especially in a game with so many open ends. the only valid guide is the one you write for yourself. to organize the information you can either use a spreadsheet or install a wiki. if you don't already do one or both you're a casual and the only reason you're even using a guide is because the game doesn't have cheat codes. (which i'm sure in your logic is still "you doing the fight")

Whole game is built around what you discover and experiment with. Guides are for second or third runs or arguably not even that. Why even play a game if you immediately look up how to do it? It's not a puzzle or a thing to figure out anymore. You may as well just not play it.

There’s been the case forever with dlcs. Before Artorias you wouldn’t even notice the difference in iFrames while mid-fat rolling (it was a thing in DS1).

The entire point of the equipment and level up system is that every fricking strategy is good. If you pick a strategy and you get killed you just level up until you can kill the boss or change the way you play the game.
There are indeed unviable strats. Like going fire damage on demons.
You can finish these games at lv1 and surely you can kill ER’s final bosses with pure holy weaponry, it’d still be shit.
